Father, I pray for Representative Guest as he chairs the House Ethics Committee. I pray for all members of the House Ethics Committee to act with integrity as they investigate alleged violations of House rules regarding representatives' conduct. It is important for our elected and appointed officials to act in moral ways. May the truth come out in every case and may no one who is innocent be falsely found guilty. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Father, I pray for Representative Harrigan and Senator Tim Sheehy who are sponsoring bills in their respective Chambers regarding elite special operations veterans to have nationwide firearm carry privileges under the Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act of 2004. I pray for all senators and representatives in Congress to be prudent in evaluating the public safety implications of allowing nationwide concealed carry across state lines for special forces veterans. May these men "run with endurance the race that is set before them". (Hebrews 12:1b)
