I Prayed have prayed
We pray that our President would not only repent when he does wrong, but also that God’s hand would powerfully guide and direct him.
Reading Time: 5 minutes

I recently received the following comment:

Apparently I am a small segment, but I do not like President Trump.  His character is not representative of my Savior, Jesus Christ, at all.  I feel very frustrated with Intercessors for America’s constant one-sidedness.  If I treated those that don’t agree with me the way Trump does, I would have very little ability to keep relationships. This is not how Jesus went about when He was here . . . [Trump] is NO example to those who are not followers of Jesus, or those who are.  I feel very frustrated with all of the IFA mailings and emails.

I pray constantly for Mr. Trump to repent—this is not how we show the world who Jesus is.

Ashamed, Kathy

Download or receive by mail resources to pray for our President. Let’s pray in unity.

Kathy brings up some legitimate points which I would like to address.

At times President Trump does react and says things that I wish he did not.  No question about it.  At times his words are not Christ-like.  I will not defend him in this. He has been described as having a “New York style,” which is at times abrasive and abrupt. I wish he were stronger on certain issues like biblical marriage, where he seems to have remained neutral to the LGBT agenda. Though I have been with him a number of times, I don’t know him personally, but it is clear he is not a perfect man, and I am sure he would be the first to admit this.

With that said, let me explain why it may appear we are one-sided.  In my role, as President of IFA, I must discern God’s activity among our leaders in order to inform our intercessors how to effectively pray.  I sense God using President Trump and directing his activities.

Detecting God’s activity by Observing Our Enemy’s Activity

Sometimes we can detect God’s activity by observing our enemy’s activity. Let me use the current “impeachment inquiry” to illustrate:

1. Arbitrary distortion of processes. Established processes are being changed, which is allowing leaders to manipulate current circumstances. Recently the whistleblower complaint form was changed to allow second-hand information as the basis for a complaint. The Federalist reported on 9/27/19, “…the intelligence community secretly eliminated a requirement that whistleblowers provide direct, first-hand knowledge of alleged wrongdoings…The brand new version of the whistleblower complaint form, which was not made public until after the transcript of Trump’s July 25 phone call with the Ukrainian president,…was uploaded on September 24, 2019, at 4:25 p.m.” You will hear much in the press that this fact is not true, but check out the document for yourself and look at the date at the bottom – August 2019. It appears that the internal changes were completed in August and formally uploaded in September.

Processes had been in place to safeguard the whistleblower complaint process from unreliable second or third-hand complaints, which are hearsay. They are changed internally, and then a second-hand complaint leads to an “impeachment inquiry”? Seriously? We are expected to believe this is not an arbitrary change in processes to manipulate circumstances.

It has come to light now that House Intelligence  Committee Chairman Rep. Adam Schiff’s staff consulted with the whistleblower before the complaint was filed, that aid shared this info with Rep. Schiff, despite Schiff denying any contact with the whistleblower before complaint is filed.

Read about further distortions in the process concerning the House of Representative rules that Speaker Pelosi, who pursued this before seeing the call transcript, is implementing to eliminate the rights of Republicans.  Read more HERE.

We need to pray for the establishment and protection of governmental processes that are just and sure.

2. Leaked information. There seems to be a consistent, and repeated, attempt to leak secret information with an attempt to harm this Presidency.  This recent “impeachment inquiry” was the result of a leaked secret information by staffers to the whistleblower.

Former FBI Director James Comey is the earliest and most obvious example.  His leaks produced the Russia investigation which ended in no evidence that President Trump colluded or obstructed justice. Now this is happening again.

Here’s my point, nobody is leaking documents to support our President, only to damage him.  This is illegal activity with the attempt to assert illegitimate claims.

You don’t have to leak truth. Truth stands for itself.  As long as a society is just and the populous recognizes honesty, truth will eventually stand. We need to pray that truth would prevail. We can pray to the Truth, Jesus, that all will know what really happened and “[f]or the sins of their mouths, for the words of their lips, let them be caught in their pride.” (Ps 59:12)

3. Known sources of evil utilized to bring legitimacy to claims.  Again, this current whistleblower complaint uses information from an organization funded by George Soros. The footnote reads, “In a report published by the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) on 22 July…” The complaint form relies on information from OCCRP five separate times. This organization is funded by Soros. Why would destructive forces attempt to bring down itself? Jesus said, “A house divided against itself cannot stand”(Mt 12:25).  The enemy is attempting to destroy God’s work through this Administration.

Additionally, the whistleblower’s complaint was turned into a top intelligence operative in the Mueller investigation. Read more HERE.

When I see clear demonic activity—arbitrary distortions of processes, illegal leaking of information, and known evil sources being utilized—my discernment tells me this activity is a demonic attack on someone being used to accomplish God’s purposes. The watchman watches for God’s activity, and also the enemy’s.

Godly Purposes Through the Trump Administration

It is important to understand that we don’t endorse individual candidates, but pray for and encourage godly values being expressed. That said, look at some of the godly purposes that are happening through the Administration’s activities and regulations:

1. President Trump is arguably the most pro-life President since abortion was legalized. He has utilized every avenue he has in order to protect life. Just this week he took more taxpayer money—$34 million—from Planned Parenthood (read the story). He has directed the Department of Health and Human Services to protect life, which they have (read the regulation). His United Nations staff have told the world that U.S. aid will not be tied to abortion services mandates.

2. President Trump has championed religious freedom globally.  He has appointed Ambassador Sam Brownback to lead the globe in fighting for religious freedoms.

3. President Trump signed an executive order making it clear that his administration champions religious freedoms. He established a Faith and Opportunity Initiative to ensure that all departments of his administration are friendly toward all faith communities, INCLUDING evangelical Christians.  For many years Christians felt as if the government was the enemy of the Church, while this current administration is attempting to engage us.  There have been more pastors (in listening sessions) in the White House than any presidency ever!

4. President Trump has transformed the judiciary by appointing over 150 conservative judges (including two Supreme Court Justices) that will affect the nation for decades to come by preserving our founders’ intent expressed through the God-inspired Constitution.

5. President Trump has increased our support of Israel and moved our embassy to Jerusalem.

Kathy, I share your sentiments about President Trump’s style, but I am convinced we need to pray for someone who has the hand of God upon them.

So thanks for writing in. Please don’t feel isolated—most of us have conflicting feelings about our President.  Take a few moments to discern the obvious onslaught of evil coming against him and the values of his administration such as life, religious freedom, protecting our inspired Constitution, and support for Israel. I believe we need to pray that our President would not only repent when he does wrong, but also that God’s hand would powerfully guide and direct him.

Nobody is perfect. Certainly Mr Trump is not. But for a moment step into his shoes. He has the might of 93% of the media against him, some of his own party and 100% of the Democratic party.
God raises up imperfect people to do His work. Yes, and what a work it is ! Mr Trump, with all his flaws has done more in 3 years than many Presidents have in two terms… His energy outstrips anything I have ever seen.
Indeed he needs our prayer to strengthen and protect him and his administration from the constant attacks by malign agents, often bought an paid for by Mr Soros. Please pray for Our POTUS, our Congress, our Supreme Court our constitution and our liberty, for our children.

I can understand Kathy’s thoughts because I have felt the same way at times. But, when I considered the alternative, all doubts disappear. He has stood strong on the most important issue facing the nation…..the right of the unborn to live. He has not faltered on this issue even if it was politically incorrect. His crass ways may have been one of the reasons God chose him to lead us. Someone had to break through the ridiculous political correctness that has controlled the media, the public narrative and the political scene. He does not seem to care who he offends. He says it like he sees it. I have never believed he was racist. I believe he sees and rewards success no matter the color of skin. I have also noticed that if you treat him with respect, he will treat you with respect. He has many faults, but he genuinely cares about our nation and wants to return her to godly roots. The Hollywood, media and democrats hate him….how can God be directing them that hate their brother? Clearly, their hearts are deceived. Just my opinion…but….

Donald Trump bothers me too, sometimes, and I pray that he might be led to receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit which might, by God’s grace, temper him and make his style less of an issue than the excellent things that he has done for this country. It was clear from the 2016 election that he is God’s choice, for he could not have won any other way. God seems to choose some strange people on occasion, and it is our duty to support God’s man even when some of his decisions, like the current one regarding the abandonment of the Kurds, rankle severely. God has His own purposes and He does not always make them known. He selected Donald Trump for the times we live in, and we must bow to His plan and purpose whatever that is. One of our responsibilities is to pray for the president as though the fate of our nation is in the balance – because it is.

I’ve said it once and I’ll reiterate, Winston Churchill was known as a little crude and brash, but England would be speaking german if it had not been for him (and the Lord). Trump is both, but he does what he needs to to keep us safe and God give him wisdom for such times as these!

I so thank you, David Kubal, for such a wonderful response!! I wish I could say that the things that come out of it are perfect, but they are not!! I am working on it and with our Lord’s help will I will overcome it. How I wish we were like the Jewish people in our country to take an entire 25 hours to repent before our Lord as a nation!! This is not about President Trump, but it is about good and evil. As David said, look at the evidence of the evil being perpetrated upon him. He is a good man and God is using him mightily. God told us that He would bless those who blessed Israel and He would curse those who cursed Israel. We have to choose whom we will serve. We may not like everything our President does, but I thank God for him. He is courageous and standing up to all of this garbage hurled against him. Please pray with us and thank God we have the IFA to united us in prayer!!! Our God is Faithful and True. President Trump is a man and like me, he is not perfect, but Our God is!!!

President Trump has done more good for the USA, for Conservatives, for Biblical principles and values and for the Christian community than any President since Ronald Reagan, no close second.

Why don’t fellow Christians realize that?

Amen Peter Apel!!!!! Praying that blind eyes are opened, stopped up ears are un-stopped, and that God grants spiritual discernment to those who are deceived. When I get uncomfortable with our President’s speech or attitude, all I have to do is think about the consequences if Hillary Clinton had won in 2016. I’m very grateful for him and I pray for him and his family.

    Brenda B
    October 8, 2019

Amen, Carrie Tyler!!!! His “point-blank” bluntness is a welcome change from the “smooth-talking lies” and deception of those who have been deceiving our nation and the American people for years. Peter, Jesus’ own disciple was gruff and all jagged around the edges, so to speak, and he was a “cuss-er” (after all, he WAS a “sailor”, a “fisherman” and was inundated with all the gruffness that would be ingrained in a fisherman). He “cursed” when he denied Jesus. I’m a recovering “cuss-er” myself. What i “see” when someone has a heart for God’s righteousness, and may “slip-up”, is a call for even MORE prayer for them (and myself). We’ve GOT to see the “bigger picture” and ask God for spiritual discernment to see what is important, and pray for, and support, and encourage those whose heart is for doing the righteous thing. In addition, we can all call the White House comment line and tell the volunteers there that we are praying for our courageous President who is attempting to do the righteous and just thing, against a tsunami and THEN some of blatant evil coming at him, and us, the American people, from every direction. Let’s keep praying, and also call the White House comment line to tell our President that we are praying. The White House comment line number is: 1-202-456-1111.

We really need to pray for people like Kathy to have their blind eyes opened and for people like that to stop being brainwashed and then parrot fake news. We all sin with our thoughts and words, which according to Kathy makes none of us eligible for office. But, the only thing we have to do look is look at the Bible’s specific command to bless Israel. This president has been the first to openly bless Israel. People like Jimmy Carter who are “eligible” to be in in office (and teach local Sunday School) according to Kathy are also going to have to stand before God and repent for their treatment of Israel.

I sit in the congregation of a Pastor who meets personally with Trump. Trump uses the scriptures to guide all his decisions and Trump surrounds himself with pastors to pray over him and guide him biblically. Let’s not forget that Winston Churchill was also a man with harsh words but he did the entire world a great service with his harsh words.

    Brenda
    October 6, 2019

Kathy, President Trump was elected to stand up for righteousness in the midst of absolute evil, such as the free reign of killing babies at their tiniest and most vulnerable, and the horrific evil of selling their body parts. It is written that God abhors (hates) the shedding of innocent blood. Just this alone is enough to elect this man as President. Would you rather that the alternative would have been elected? President Trump was not elected to be a “spiritual” leader, pastor, or evangelist. He surrounds himself with such to pray for him, because he knows full well that he needs intercessors to pray not only for him, but also for this country and us the American people. May God open the blind eyes of those who lack spiritual discernment. Father may it be so, in the name of Jesus the Christ, the only begotten Son of You, the living God, the God of the living, amen.

        Brenda B
        October 8, 2019

Amen, Bonnie Gloth!!! God had MERCY on our nation, by placing a fighter named Donald John Trump in office, against all KINDS of odds. He would NOT have been in office if God had not PUT him there. God knew that Donald Trump is a “gladiator”, so to speak, and is fearless in standing against, and bringing down the tsunami of evil in the Deep State. That is why he is hated soooo much, and when he does good, it is twisted and warped and they call it evil, and lie. This verse comes to mind: “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” ~Isaiah 5:20 This is spiritual warfare that is raging.

    Julie Landis
    October 6, 2019

Just read an article on Facebook that Lance Wallnau about why we need President Trump in office for such a time as this. Why did God put Trump in office? Because America/Christians need a “fighter” in the office of the presidency when our Christian rights are being removed more and more every day. The writer referred to George Bush, who was kind, calm and compassionate, but could not accomplish anywhere near what Trump has for Jerusalem, protection of the unborn, etc. Then there was John McCain, a very “collegial” fellow — but could not win!! Mitt Romney was so polite and friendly, but again, could not win against the radical left. The Democrats follow the Saul Alinsky “Rules for Radicals” to a T and they are very good at it. Now, we have someone in the Oval Office who will FIGHT BACK against them and win!! Pray, Pray and then pray that the Demonic Democrats will not win and that our President will restore righteousness to our country. You don’t have to like his personality or brusque manner to appreciate what he is doing to expose corruption, protect our unborn and peace with Jerusalem.

    October 6, 2019

Kathy, you are not alone. I have read the Mueller report, the whistle blower complaint and have reached conclusions that differ from much of what has been written. I believe we have a corrupt President, that yes , God can still use for good. I pray for him in obedience to the Father.

      Brenda B
      October 12, 2019

You see all the evil, lies, and blatant twisting of truth and deception being flung at our President and us the American people, including the killing of babies at their tiniest and most helpless, and the selling of the baby’s body parts, etc and you call our PRESIDENT “corrupt”? You BELIEVE anything coming from Mueller and the conjured up “whistle blower complaint”? There is blatant evil that wants Trump out of office that is called the “Deep State”. He is nearly fighting them single-handedly (and has been). He is attempting to END baby and child sex trafficking, where babies and small children are considered “currency” and where there is a world-wide Pedophilia market where babies and small children are in “demand”, like a “product”. President Trump went into the White House with the intention of breaking up and obliterating these evil strongholds. Please pray about whichever news source you watch or listen to. Most of the media is downright evil and in cahoots with these evil strongholds. They HATE Trump for the very reasons I mentioned. May we pray for the spiritual discernment to see where the stronghold of evil and corruption is. And it isn’t President Trump. Praying that God opens our eyes and our ears to discern, where the evil is. Father may it be so, in Jesus name, amen.

Kathy & Roberta, thank you for having the courage to speak up and share in this forum what you believe. May we always take a stand for what we believe is right. A lot of venom is coming your way from these comments…you are blind, naive, a tool of the enemy, etc. I agree with both of you, so I must be all these things as well…who knew??? I will never believe that the ends justify the means…it is not a Kingdom principle. Jesus doesn’t come to take sides, He comes to take over! God, have mercy on my nation…

I believe your reply is much too harsh. Kathy is not blind. She has her eyes wide open. President Trump has done much good for the USA and I agree that God is working through him, but we must not defend him as though he were nearly perfect. It is tragic that, in a country where so many claim to be Christians, a candidate with a solid history of true Christian faith was not the candidate chosen by the Republicans to defeat Hillary. There were many running. God is sovereign and works in and through sinful people, but we do not need to malign those who struggle in supporting Trump. And, of course, we certainly need to pray for him!

Ashamed Kathy, are you a naive do-gooder or one of the enemy’s plants? If you are a do-gooder, where is your spiritual discernment? Can you not tell that the President is a Christian, but imperfect just as you and I are imperfect? His past sins are UNDER THE BLOOD OF JESUS. Who are you to judge? The Bible instructs us to look at the fruit, ask God to show you his true fruit (Keeping his word, getting rid of churches not being able to talk about political leaders, trade, asking for prayers, doing right by Israel and Christians, etc.) Look at who his enemies are. I could go on and on with you over this. Do you listen to the lying news media, have you not discerned what news is true or a lie? You are an intercessor, really, again, where is your discernment? We are supposed to pray for our leaders FOR OUR SAKE, read the Word! If you are a media plant, which I suspect, to let others know, Hillary Clinton in the 1990’s started an undercover program to infiltrate all conservative media to steer the conversation to the left. Part of this is people calling into radio stations, or writing in on other platforms. Your email did not line up with the word of God. He specifically tells us to pray for our leaders, get over it.

What about his negative fruit of lying, bullying, greed, bad treatment ofimmigrants and refugees, egotism, coarse language, waste of taxpayer money. Lack of joy, peace, patience, kindness, long suffering, gentleness. Perhaps God chose him to reveal corruption, as so many around him have been found to be involved in. As well as his paying off a porn star for his own election fraud.

Discernment is so imports to know what God is doing in the world. And God is so generous in giving it to us if we want it. He can use anyone and anything to accomplish His will, including an imperfect man like President Trump. Better to discern what God is doing, than question self-righteously how God could use President Trump. Thankfully, praise the Lord, he can use us as well, in our imperfections and sins to influence the world by our good and just deeds.

I truly believe that if we Christians keep our eyes in Jesus rather than men, we would be more effective in our prayers. God Almighty can choose whoever He wants. He sees the heart of men (women), a heart after Him, with all his/hers imperfections. God in His sovereignty has chosen Donald Trump to lead the United States of America and our responsibility is to pray for him daily. After all, if we truly believe that our God is in control why panic, worry or even feel frustrated. Stand still and see what God is doing in our midst and be thankful!.
We are in a spiritual warefare and must focus on defeating our enemy 24hrs.7 days a week. Time is short and we must redeem our time.

without a doubt there are pluses and minuses with Trump. No matter what, the reference for us is the Word. It’s not about politics or personalities it’s about us and our commitment to The Great Commission. A lot of time and energy is being spent on things that are ultimately worldly. Yes I understand that abortion is an issue. It’s a sin but I can’t imagine Jesus saying to His disciples, ” After I am gone your primary job is to work with the Roman Senate to get legislation passed”. Let’s not get distracted but instead move forward in love and prayerful unity.

    Brenda B
    October 6, 2019

Albert Smith, abortion is an abomination to the living God. He abhors (hates) the shedding of innocent blood. In addition, Jesus Himself said that whatever we do or not do to the “least of these” we have done/not done to “Him”. In Isaiah it is written all throughout that we are to defend and speak out for those who cannot speak out for or defend themselves. This country has blood on its hands BIG TIME. THIS is a call to repentance for us “allowing” such evil and furthermore to allow it to be made into a “law” that it is legal to slaughter innocent babies while they are trapped in their mother’s womb, and not only THAT, but that the slaughtered babies body parts are SOLD. God help us, as we pray for, and defend our President, who fights for the lives of these little ones. God HELP our nation. Let’s get to praying. Amen?

I’m definitely not trying to make this a racial thing, but I can’t remember as many calls prayer for president Obama as I see for president Trump by IFA. Yes I do believe that God is using Trump in some key areas, and I didn’t agree with a lot of things Obama did, but Obama needed prayer also. Not to say IFA didn’t send any positive emails about Obama, but I just don’t remember seeing them. One thing I WILL say about Obama….he carried himself WELL while in office…sometimes how you carry yourself and treat others speak volumes…and he showed love to EVERYONE….not just one particular race. I understand it’s all about the Kingdom….but sometimes kind words will yield better results. IJS

Like I said, I didn’t agree with A LOT of Obama’s decisions….I’m just saying it felt good not having racial tensions SO HIGH!!! I’m a Blood bought, Holy Ghost filled believer…..but I’m ALSO a black man in America with a president who IN MY OPINION, promotes division.

          October 5, 2019

Curtis, Thank you for sharing from the heart. I do agree that Obama presented himself well, he in many ways was a part of the establishment created from our educational arena and being a first American black president would make you proud, but as a white American I felt Obama was the most racially divisive president we have had. I agree that President Trump could use alittle refining, but I think the fact that he was not one of Washington’s establishment has ruffled lots of feathers. the article written presents many valid points for why we pray for our president and continue to seek God’s wisdom for our nation and the future of our nation. “For the enemies of God’s people are many, but our eyes are on You Lord” for wisdom and direction we should go as a country and “to God be the Glory” !! God Bless You

Yes, Obama “carried himself well” and then voted for third-trimester abortion, tearing babies limb to limb. And reversed his stand on marriage between men and women into same-sex marriage, and many more ungodly stances. But he “looked good” on the outside! I’d rather have godly positions, even if a President is somewhat brusque in his demeanor.

        e.p.
        October 4, 2019

Not to mention his administrations’ persecution of Christian companies / Little Sisters of the Poor for opting out of providing insured abortion coverage for their employees etc. In spite of the oft-repeated story that there were no scandals in that administration, there were. For the most part, news media ignored, excused and papered over questionable and outright illegal actions. They chose not to define anything then done as criminal – exactly the opposite of how they’ve chosen to define the words of the current president. Believe me, there was much to pray about during that administration as well.

It is almost as if a spiritual blanket or fog of deception and sin has been hovering over this nation since the late-1970’s after the last great worldwide move of God. It been getting a bit thicker every year since: blinding eyes, stopping up ears and hardening hearts against God and His principles of love, grace, forgiveness, truth and Godly living. Our prayers break through the fog and punch holes in that blanket so that the people of goodwill can see, hear, and act for the truth.

We now live in a world where right is wrong and wrong is right; where agreement equals truth and disagreement equals hate. Again, it is our responsibility to remember that there are two sides to every story and keep our eyes on what really matters to God. Make the effort to be well-informed and thereby avoid the trap of satans’ deceptions. Watch and pray… watch and pray.

Our job is to pray, stand & battle satan who behind the lies, corruption. Father, stand before you cry Holy Art Thou oh Lord. We give e you praise & Glory for you alone are worthy.
For gives where we have e sinned against you as a nation, for give us doubting what plans you have put in place, for give us to be quick to judge our President who you are guiding him by your spirit.
Lord, I ask for super natural guidance from your throne room, put you guarding Angel’s around him, family & administration. Bu ding back every word curse spoke over him, in Jesus name, every assignment from the pits of hell, they would bounce off if Trump back to those who spoke them.
Lord, clean up the hearts & minds of Americans
give us repentance hearts before you.
Remove evil that has found a home in our capital, to destroy this nation, freedoms & liberty given by you oh Lord.
Give us courage to stand against the attacks from the evil that has over powered this nation. Continue to raise up mighty warriors to do battle in the Spirit realm.
Remove all who are in the people go element whose hearts are evil in your seight.
Expose, pull down any all deceptions of powers who raise their heads above your throne. In

Alot of christian are blinded to the Lord’s planS and purposes for this nation and how the President Trump is being used to achieve it. The Lord’s ways are pass finding out. I believe President Trump has accepted the Lord and we need to keeping praying for his transformation, presidency and second term. Stop judging our president and his use of words and pray. President Trump is being attacked from every angle because the Lord wants to accomplish His plans for our nation through this adminstration. Full scale christian rights will be taken if the dems get in power. Do not be fooled by the man’s harsh words, the Lord see the heart. Instead be watchful and deserving, and pray, pray, pray.

I appreciate Kathy’s honesty. I’ve had this conversation with other believers. I don’t like everything my husband, siblings, friends, or kitty does sometimes but I still support them. And I’m sure they feel the same way about me. Why? Because they are part of me and relationships require grace. JESUS IS PERFECT all the time and there are people who don’t want anything to do with Him. Can you imagine that? There is nowhere in the scripture that it admonishes us to like those that are in authority. The scripture says “pray for those in authority so that we can live a quiet, and peaceable life in all godlilness and honesty.” I rarely approved of former President Obama’s policies but whenever I prayed for him I felt the Lord’s compassion. Being President is a huge task no matter who’s doing it. The Lord cares, therfore, we should care. When we pray, we are to pray in faith, believing that as we pray according to God’s will (God’s will is His word), then we can expect change to come. As I prayed this morning I caught a glimpse into the father’s ways in dealing with every “scenario” our president finds himself in and they are many! First, God deals with our attitude as we seek Him on how to pray and posture our hearts. He deals with those who oppose His plans and purposes by revealing their hearts hoping they will repent. Then he deals with President Trump’s heart as he is reminded to look to the Lord. Remember, God is not only healing the nation. He’s transforming the leader of the nation just like the He’s conforming us.

I to understand how his speech sometimes appears harsh. But the man speaks what he is thinking. Is it always kind absolutely not. But let’s look at the evidence. How many times have you seen a president or any man of this authority so demonically attacked? Witches and pro choice proponents, every evil worker you can think of. The dishonest media has come after this man. Yet he keeps on standing and fighting for truth and continued freedom for this nation. What other president has been so transparent. Obama would polygraph his employees once a week. The bible says a nation that sheds innocent blood is cursed. This man through the direction of God is reversing this and standing with us to have this removed from our nation. God forgive us, if people are so upset then think how many children have been slaughtered and sold. He is bringing out the most ugly things this nation has had hidden for many generations. God sets up kings and takes them down. Finally a 7 yr old boy told his mommy that God told him John was going to be the next president. John means Gods beloved, let’s pray the revelator will continue to expose all the darkness that has gone on for years. Bottom line this is a fight for the soul of this nation and this is the man God has chosen for this hour. God bless Donald J. Trump and may WE all keep a short account with God and always be quick to repent when we miss the mark.

If I had skunks under my porch and I sent for a man to get rid of them, I wouldn’t care how he smelled, looked, or how he talked if he would get rid of the skunks. Trump has gotten rid of a lot of skunks!

Kathy is right, Donald Trump is brash, responds without mercy and often does not act with good judgement. That does not make him a bad President. He is a good President, in my eyes, because he stands against abortion, even quoting “children are made in the image of God”. Other politicians have jumped on the band wagon of “Women’s rights to their own bodies”. To me it is reprehensible that politicians are quick to cater to voices calling for murder simply so they can get power.
Donald Trump is anti-abortion. God hates abortion. I think we should stand with a man who has the same heart as God regarding children.
I am also incensed that the democrats cannot accept that America elected Donald Trump. They began “demonic” actions when they removed God from their political platform and then began to undermine the power of our rights to elect a President. The House of Representatives is full of Power brokers whose agenda is a socialist form of government. They have no respect for the Bill of Rights or Constitution.
Trump is also in favor of religious freedom, which Christians have been losing under the democrats. Thinks Caterers and Florists.
We should all have rejoiced when Trump declared that our Embassy in Israel would be moved to Jerusalem. These are more issues are more important than Trump’s “rough talk”.

We all want those we love to accept Jesus as their Savior and eventually go to heaven when it’s their time. We don’t want them to miss heaven and go to hell. SO we bombard heaven with our prayers so their soul will be saved and you get everyone you can to do the same. We do all we can. But ultimately it’s that persons choice as to where they will spend eternity—-in heaven with Almighty God or in hell with the devil. Our hope is that they will choose life.
In John 10:10 it is written the thief comes to steal, kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and may have it abundantly. (as we look around, satan is alive and well on planet earth!)
We are in a battle for the soul of the United States of America. This country was established by Almighty God and the church has been guilty of neglecting the oversight, given by God, to see to it that those individuals who we elected to govern over us, did what was right according to the Constitution of the United States of America, as well as the Word of God. To have change, we MUST, as the church, be obedient to 2 Chronicles 7:14. The church cannot remain divided, if we are to survive as the great country God created it to be.
We must NOT focus on the man but FOCUS on the Lord Jesus Christ. God chose a man that He knew “would get the job done”!
As I see it, It’s our job to focus on the Lord, pray as He leads, to support and encourage our President and other leaders who are trying to do what is right for us according to the Constitution of the United States of America and the Word of God. (On state and local levels as well)
We must remember that the battle is the Lords. Pray that His kingdom come, His will be done on earth as it is in heaven…and that God is in control. Let God arise and His enemies be scattered!!

But why don’t you speak out about his non- Christian policies of separating children from parents, treating refugees badly, destroying our environment, etc. As well as vocally call him out on his bullying, lying, greed, egotism, etc – all of which are hated by God.

      Tracy Hundley
      October 3, 2019

There is very little in what you name that is to be “called out”. He has changed the long-standing separations policy with no help from Congress. he is attempting to right long-standing wrongs in immigration policy, again without using executive orders. It is correct that refugees stop at the 1st country they come to. What God hates is a double-standard & a self-serving hypocrit… this is where we have to check ourselves.

        e.p.
        October 5, 2019

Amen Tracy. And a reminder that there are two sides to every story.

Lou, have you done any online research into the policy of separating children from parents: how did it start, why is it being done and by how many presidents? Do you know how many of these children are actually related to the adults they accompany? Have you done any research to see exactly how illegal immigrants are currently being housed? Did you know that the photos of illegal immigrant children in cages were taken during the Obama administration? Did you know that the House/ congress ignored the Trump administrations multiple requests for additional funds to house and care for the nearly half a million people who have come to our southern border illegally or claimed asylum this year?

Have you ever asked yourself did Mr. Trump really say what the media claims he said? Was he bullying someone or responding to an attack? Did you go to youtube to see/hear for yourself what the president said? How do you know he is greedy and egotistical? He donates his salary and has done so since he was inaugurated. Not exactly the actions of a greedy man. Have you done any research to find out what (if any) policies Mr. Trumps’ EPA has implemented to protect our environment? Have you made any effort to check the truthfulness of what is being said about Mr. Trump in the online/tv/print media?

Again, it is our responsibility as clear thinking Americans and Christians to remember that there are two sides to every story and make the effort to be well-informed. Keep our eyes on what really matters to God. Challenge our own assumptions. Seek truth and thereby avoid the trap of satans’ deceptions. Watch and pray… watch and pray.

      October 4, 2019

Lou – I want to add to this also, I visited the border with a White House delegation. I saw first hand the poor desperate people who paid smugglers an incredible amount to be brought to our border. The issue both Republican and Democratic leaders have struggled with is human trafficking and criminals using other people’s children in order use our broken immigration system to get in the country. This bipartisan issue has been around for nearly two decades without being fixed. POTUS has fixed the immigration court system so now amnesty hearings are held in days instead of months.

As for pollution, air quality is the issues that has been in the press and it is a red herring. The US leads the globe in protecting air quality. The world – especially China – provides 95% of the pollution.

Thank you for this well written article. I will admit that I too have had to cringe at times because of what the President has tweeted. But, I am reminded by God’s Word that “All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” No, he is not perfect … but neither are we. I have had many conversations with my husband and daughter on this very same topic. They are Christians and do not like the President because of his way of handling things. However, I always remind them (as you so eloquently stated in your article) that he has done God’s will for Israel (which is the apple of God’s eye) and us Christians (with policies that are FOR Religious Freedom, stopping abortion and illegal entry into this country). Yes, as He always says, everything He does is for the American people.

So, when I look at the mainstream news channels and hear them repeat the lies over and over again about this so called Ukraine scandal, I am so appalled. The lies, corruption and partisan manipulation of rules and policies that have been changed or fixed in the Democrats’ favor over this hoax is totally unbelievable. It is so sad to see what people will do … I no longer believe many of the Democrats and deep state Republicans have ANY morals left. The double standard and bias is so blatant it is truly (I say again) unbelievable.

So, I say to you, my Brothers and Sisters in Christ, let us all be reminded that “With God, All things are POSSIBLE.” He can turn this entire scandal around and expose those that have perpetrated it. Remember, God tells us … that whatsoever a man sows that shall he also reap. They will reap what they have sown. And, as you and I continue to pray, God will turn this lawlessness into something good for America and Americans. Therefore, I implore you to pray even more and be more strategic in your prayers for this President as well as for our great country. God Bless You All:-)

I don’t believe anyone but a Donald Trump could stand up to everything Satan is doing to bring down this nation. Who would have thought? I believe he is one of those answers to prayer that “we wouldn’t believe” as the Holy Spirit proclaims in the Word. Also a president is NOT a religious or spiritual leader — they are there to defend and uphold the US Constitution which protects religious freedom and he us doing more to fight for and protect religious freedom than you could imagine the godliest person doing because God gave him an unusual ability to stand up for what he believes in (America AND religious freedom). Right at the exact moment when our nation was on the verge of extinction as a beacon of CHRISTIAN liberty, I believe God finally answered decades of prayer and sent a secular but teachable “saviour”. All it takes for evil to take over a country is for good people to do nothing or to tacitly side with the enemy. p.s. Twitter is the only mainstream tool he has to fight back against the mainstream propaganda media — it’s a beautiful thing because he is so transparent which is a total first. The only time he has really made me cringe was back in the primaries when he was viciously assaulted and shoved into a cage match with the other candidates thanks to the vicious media. GOD BLESS him, his family, and may his relationship with the Lord be continually deepened, in Jesus’s Precious Holy Name, Amen

I agree totally. I don’t have to be comfortable with someone’s personal STYLE in order to agree with them. That would be like having a condescending and critical attitude toward someone just because they don’t dress in a refined manner. H was elected to turn this country around after the previous glib, slick, constantly lying, anti-Christian president nearly destroyed this country. President Trump is not glib and polished, nor is he a liar like the previous president. He knows he doesn’t HAVE to lie, because he is RIGHT about how to run this country. I don’t remember EVER seeing a president bow his head in prayer before President Trump did so. So if he gets the job done, I will judge him on THAT, not on his personality. He was elected to ‘get the job done’, and he is doing that very very well! I thank our Lord every day for this president, because I love that he doesn’t care what people think about him….because he knows he’s right, and fights for what is right for this country, and asks God for His help!

        October 4, 2019

You didn’t quote anything specifically that he has lied about, so, I tend to believe that maybe you are watching a very biased media towards him and towards Christianity in general….President Trump has done more for Christians and the legal citizens of this country than any other president. We should all pray for God’s hand upon him and direction for his life….if President Trump’s administration fails, we ALL will suffer…I DON’T agree with everything that he does and how he acts, either, but overall, he is for the average working person in this country and wants to protect our religious liberties which means having the freedom to preach the gospel. Dear, God, KEEP Your hand of protection upon our President. I BELIEVE You raised him up for “such a time as this”. He needs Your guidance, and wisdom. In Jesus’ name, amen.

          Essie
          October 4, 2019

I tend to believe that you’re not paying very close attention and you must not be doing your research if you don’t think that Trump lies on a daily basis. You probably don’t want to hear this, but he is a compulsive liar, that’s just fact. Have you ever known someone that will lie about both big and little things? Things that they have no reason to lie about? The kind of person that would lie about the color of the sky if they could?Unfortunately, that is our president. It’s the reason that his lawyers would not let him be interviewed by Robert Mueller. They knew that he would lie and end up perjuring himself in the process. You don’t have to watch biased media to know that he lies. All you have to do is watch his press conferences, speeches, and read his Twitter account. I believe he’s up to something like just under 13,000 lies so far during his presidency? So there’s a LOT to quote! Just a few of his lies – He’s quoted as saying that the noise from windmills causes cancer. He said his father was born in Germany (he was born in New York). He claimed that there was serious voter fraud in Virginia, New Hampshire, and California (that has not been proven). He lied when he said the Obama administration had a child separation policy. He lied when he said that he’d have no time to play golf (he plays every weekend). He lied about passing the biggest tax cut in American history. He lied when he said the Mueller report exonerated him (there are 10 instances of obstruction of justice in the report). I could go on and on and on with the lies but I don’t have time for that. It blows my mind that some Christians stand by him no matter what he does and says, seemingly because of his stances on abortion and Israel. It’s not a good look for Christians to not stand up and speak out on all the wrong that this man is doing. I have trouble believing that Jesus would support this man. The unwavering support makes me wonder if Christians would support someone such as Hitler only because he claimed to be against abortion and supported Israel. I would think there has to be a point where you say enough is enough, but like Donald Trump said himself, “I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose voters.” Sadly that statement seems to be true regarding roughly 33% of the American population.

I believe God chose Donald Trump “for such a time as this!” God is not limited by personality characteristics to further His kingdom. He chose Saul and made him a Paul. He chose the adulterous murderer David and made him a King. He chose a harlot and made her a descendant of Jesus. And He used the liar and deceiver Jacob and made him a Patriarch of the Faith. Christians who hate the President because of his irritating personality need to be reminded of this: God has no choice but to use Sinners in His work in the world. There are no other kind of people. Pray for our burdened President.

Thanks for sharing Kathy. And thank you IFA President, for bringing clarity to this concern. The scriptures tells us to pray, and pray we will for our President and thank God for this window of opportunity that the Lord has given to us with this administration. United we stand, devised we fall. We have to stand together as Americans and fight for our country. And we do this by praying for this man that the Lord has positioned to restore our religious liberties, save the unborn, and last but not least to support Israel. And so many areas that I have no time to innumerate. Blessings

Read your Bible about Jesus throwing the money changers out of the temple. He was angry and took action. Read about our previous Presidents. Some had mistress’s, they like Truman said brass things. They were not perfect, and you are not perfect either and I am not perfect. If you agree with the Constitution of the USA, then you’d better recognize what our Country is up against. If you had to put up with what our President goes thru everyday, I’m sure you wouldn’t be so worried about how the President expresses his self. People didn’t like Jesus either, but he did the things he believed in and didn’t care what people thought of Him.

There will always be naysayers no matter where you go especially in the Church. Someone is always unhappy with the preaching, the music, the look of the sanctuary, the kind of people that are being allowed in to the church, how people dress or look …whatever, we all have our opinions about things. I would ask each of us to seek God in our thinking and ask Him to show us what He thinks. I can guarantee you will sometimes get an answer from God you did not expect. I do think that Christians need to be able to hear from God to understand what he is doing. Many Christians do not have a concept of this practice of hearing from God. They were never taught such things in their churches….I know I have to do seek God regularly on situations. Most of all we should not focus on one aspect of a person, but the overall picture of what that person represents. For a President we should look to see if they are for the things of God. If you look at the history of past Presidents, they have all come short of what God intended for this country. They may have looked “Pretty” in the media, pictures, spoke words that made us think they were Wonderful….etc… but they did not do things that would have been good for our country, God and his agendas. I believe this President has done more for the Freedom of Religion, Sanctity of life, Israel, trying to protect our country with a border wall ( held back by Democrats) and the…Economy and jobs….. He is not perfect, but like many others before me in this chat room have said….None of us are perfect in Man’s eyes or God’s eyes… There is no one except Jesus Christ that was a perfect man. I know in my own life… God has used imperfect, ungodly human beings, to promote me in the workplace or come along side me to help me. Did I agree with their lifestyles or behavior always? No, but they for the most part were respectful as long as I did my job and showed up for work everyday and treated them with respect. God even used an atheist to support me when a VP came against me. The atheist knew I was a Christian, however, he knew this person was corrupt and needed to go so he backed me up to the President of the Company to bring change. God can use anyone to do his will. Those individuals that have not seen that in their own lives are not aware of how God is working in their lives through people of all kinds. Let us not be so judgmental towards God’s choice of a Man to do his work in our Nation. Look at the results not just the package…. Would you eat something that tasted nasty, just because the package looked good!!!! My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. And our Ignorance is deadly.

Ashamed Kathy– President Trump is GOD’s choice for our nation: Not always does GOD choose the Godliest man for the job–HE chooses whom HE chooses and we need to acknowledge that GOD knows the end from the beginning and HE does not make mistakes. Your responsibility and mine is to pray for the President–it is a terrible job to have and he has made some really wonderful decisions both for this country and for other countries and especially for Israel–which GOD Himself wanted him to make! It is the devil’s job to find fault–our job to pray for this man who has put his life on the line to serve this country.

Kim Clement prophesying about Donald Trump in 2007, that God Almighty will make him president: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFfFtq1fljY Pres. Trump is sent from God Almighty and is filled with the Spirit of God, and is speaks like an apostle. It would seem fair to say that only Pharisees that hated Jesus, James, John, and Paul would dislike a Christian man sent by the Eternal Lord.

One thing we, as sons and daughters of God, need to keep in mind: President Trump is a brand new believer. My understanding is that he asked Our Lord into his heart very close to the time he became President.

I was 29 years old before I asked Jesus into my heart. I am now 74 years old and still find myself saying things that I have to apologize to the Lord for saying and seeking His forgiveness.

And do not forget some of the terrible things King David did, but was still beloved and chosen by God and guided by His Hand.

We all fall short of the glory of God, but instead of criticizing or judging President Trump, we should be praying for him and be so very thankful God has put him in as our President. I also believe that President Trump has the Hand of the Lord on him.

I agree with your points about the Presidents enemies as well as the Presidents accomplishments regarding christians views.

You forgot to mention, however, the choices for president that we have on the other side: abortion, to the extent of killing any being born alive (now we also know that some abortionist drs. do not kill the baby in the womb, they bring them out alive so to sell their organs in better shape. The corruption on the other side is believable; the attacks on the duly elected president has not equal; how they are completely in agreement with transversity, homosexuality, etc; and thousands more things we can bring up. So, where is your christianity? Do you prefer people to govern us that totally opposed to the Lord you claim to serve?

Pres. Trump is a new Christian. If you read his history the last 5 yrs. you will see that Paula White from Paula White Ministries led him to the Lord before he decided to run for President.

With that said…he is still a immature believer. He has changed a lot. I saw a documentary about his fore fathers. They were all into corruption so he knows about the corruption in the men and woman in Washington and how to fight them. He has a tender heart for people, doesn’t take a salary… and has given up a lot of his business to do a thankless job!!! I know I wouldn’t…He loves this Nation and Israel…I was making lots of mistakes too but I’ve finally matured.. it took 35 years. He also has a strong team of Christian supporters that meet with him weekly. He has a tender heart for God and his ways for our country. The Democrats don’t. I pray for him …their families and our Constitution every day.

maybe i did not explain myself correctly but i am in complete agreement with the president! If you read again, i am talking about the demoncrats and their agenda that it is evil. When they took G-d out of their platform, it should have been the last drop for the “christians” that are still voting demoncrat and criticizing the president. I was writing to the person (i think her name was Lewis), so i believe there was a misinterpretation as of whom i was addressing my comments. I love the president, i fight for him at every opportunity with my christian brothers and sisters, i pray for him every day, etc. so you and i are in agreement with the president and G-d. I had an experience over almost 30 yrs ago where I found myself in a personal spiritual battle threatening everything I owned including my children. I won’t go into the details, but over a 5 yr period, the Lord taught me much about Spiritual warfare. I learned the nature of the enemy, how he thinks, how he lies constantly, the hierarchy of his kingdom, etc. I also learned through trial and error how to pray effectively, the temptation to act in my own strength. I was given promises through dreams about what was to come. I used all my senses to discern the enemy. (Even sense of smell).Frankly, it was the most difficult time in my life, but I learned so much, and God used my prayers to break up a cult. There were many casualties but God spared me. 30 yrs later and God has restored everything 10 fold over. I had lost everything financially, and now my children are grown and we have a great relationship.
So, with my understanding, just before the election, God called me back into the fray. I had taken a hiatus from it all as I really did not want to go back into a spiritual battle, but I felt I must because the stakes were so high. I first wanted to here what the Prophets were saying since I had been somewhat out of the “Christian” scene. I found videos of Kim Clement prophesying about Trump. He said he saw gold in his vision. As I listened to him something inside of me said listen, this is God speaking. I believed it and on that day when Trump got elected, it confirmed to me that God will use this man for his purposes.
So I began to enter into prayer and spiritual warfare using all that I had learned before. As I prayed on my knees the Holy Spirit would come upon me and I would weep as I began to see the how much the enemy had infiltrated our country. I saw him in control of the entertainment industry, the educational system, our government, the business system and even His church. This scheme of the devil even extends outside our country to all parts of the world. The Lord gave me a song which I would play on my guitar and sing to Him with all my strength using it as a prayer to battle against the evil forces.

I began to understand why the Lord has chosen Trump to be the man to take on the this massive force of darkness. In spite of his imperfections, he has one trait that God knew would be absolutely required to fight this battle, and that is fearlessness. With the constant onslaught thrown at him every day, any other politician would have folded like a house of cards as soon as the heat was turned on. But not Trump. He is tenacious and will fight and not back down. The enemy uses intimidation to silence the truth, but Trump won’t give in. God bless him for that strength of character.
Ever wonder how people can be so deceived and yet they hold on so tightly to the deception? There is a spirit of deception and perversion that once given a foothold, holds people in a prison. It’s like people in a cult. They are convinced that their belief system is true even when it starts destroying them which it always does eventually.
I have no doubts about the purpose of Donald Trump. He is on our side working the will of God for our world. In spite of his imperfections, his “hot blood” as Kim Clement said, he is the chosen Cyrus of our time. Even Netanyahu called him that. So let’s put aside the doubts and unite together tas one force to defeat the enemy that was so close to taking control.

Thank you for your service in the Lords army. I never thought anyone could tear down the enemies grip on our nation until God put Trump in the drivers seat. The last 2 weeks have been a phenomenal ride. I compare it to riding a sand rail in Glamus. Peaks, valleys, nitro acceleration, wild corners, a thrill a minute. Get in, sit down, pray up and hang on, God is shaking the very foundations of the world. Pray for President Trump and his family daily

I agree. I love our country, Donald Trump is not right at all. He is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. I pray every day for God to bless our nation and for our President to repent. I think his attitude and language is not fit to be in the public sector. He is not a good leader, nor a godly leader. He does not treat people right. I still won’t give up praying for our country. Thank you for being able to share.

If you were from New York you would understand. Better truth to the face than lies behind the back (like Obama). Also, what other President has stood up for Israel so loudly? Behind the scenes, Trump is fighting battles to put our country first, stop the abortion agenda, and stop those who want to take away our freedom of religion. Do you think a “polite” man could win those victories?

Do you remember Jesus called his enemies “snakes”?
Do you remember Jesus whipping people to get out of His Father’s House?

We are called to be the SALT, not the SUGAR.

We have to be very careful not to confuse the facts. The president is the president of the United States of America. He is not the pastor of the United States of America. Yes he is raw at times. However he is the only one that has the backbone to defend the evil onslaught against America.

If you think he is bad think what any other career politician on either side of the aisle would bring to the table. Its amazing how people want to suddenly throw up the “spiritual card” with Donald Trump but didn’t use the that same card with either Presidents Kennedy or Clinton in their White House sexual escapades.

If you would ask God to allow you to see through His eyes you would see that his course language doesn’t hold a candle to the filthy language of the women marching in Washington DC, and the thousands of other groups whose language is filth to the highest level. I see the President as a person who loves America, is compassionate beyond belief, gives from a heart of gold, but yet, is defensive from a place of personal hurt. I have been a Christian many years and it has taken me many years to learn to wait in my responses.

I believe it takes a heart filled with the Holy Spirit to recognize this man is a man after God’s heart, like David, he too, has flaws.

Dee, So Sad to hear harsh words like these being spoken to another sister in the Lord. Harsh words against another believer only enriches the kingdom of darkness. Satan and the world rejoices when we strive with one another. And sadly we only loose ground that should be taken for the cause of Christ and the Gospel.
Let us all remember whom we serve. Jesus the Christ our Lord and Savior. This attitude brings no glory to God our Father. So may we all remember Jesus command to love one another.

Talk about a wolf in sheep’s clothing,, many informed folks knew the deceptive propensities of Obama before he became president.. too many to list here, but factually documented all over the internet and in published books. And now we are finding out even more about his corruption in directing the Kablah to set Trump up with the false narrative of Russian Collusion under the direction of Lying Comey; Obama’s own appointee, a proven Communist – Brennan and the corrupt Clapper… there are also plenty of books already written on the market detailing the factual corruption of Obama’s administration… way too much to discuss here. The greatest issue at hand is that these people have tried to destroy the freedoms of our Republic for their own political gain and to seize more power and establish a more socialistic form of government. Thankfully, in spite of all his flaws, President Trump is a man who is a patriot and believes in the freedoms of our nation. God had a plan when He put this leader in place regardless of his imperfections. Bless God for HIS wisdom and may we all recognize what our Lord wants us to learn in the midst of corruption being exposed. May we stand for His righteousness and not be ignorant of the schemes of the enemy .. not fall prey to seducing and lying spirits .. nor be turned over to delusion.

Mabel Lewis, is it that you object to President Trump defending little babies in their mothers wombs? That he is battling (nearly by himself) the Deep State that is ALL infiltrated throughout our government, along with the influence and billions of George Soros’ money? He is fighting downright evil that has its tentacles everywhere, including in the sex trafficking of babies and children, and the huge business that Pedophilia is, not only in this country, but the world over. THIS is why so many hate Trump. It’s because he is attempting to bring down this stronghold. Father may blind eyes be opened, and may You give spiritual discernment to those who desperately need it, in the name of Jesus, amen.

I have a book about Winston Churchill which shows him brass and crude at times. Although, where would the Brits be if it weren’t for his ACTIONS – they would probably be speaking german about now. Actions perhaps DO speak louder than words. We should embrace that about our president right about now.

May God continue to be blessed by God and to share with our people the truths that have overcome our nation. they are not God’s truths, but only what has actually taken place. For decades the Devil has been actively seeking to destroy our Judeo-Christian culture. They have made significant inroads. I believe that God is using our current president to fight back, since no one else has made he effort. We have either been “tolerant” or lazy. In any case until recently no one have dared to speak up while our nation has been invaded by those who wish it to be destroyed. That list is overwhelming. top diplomats have been actively seeking to destroy us and now when someone sheds the light on their dark deeds, all Hell is braking loose. Wake up! the enemy has gotten into our house Praying is a priority, but ass God’s hands and voice and feet we need to begin to Stand strong against Satan and his cohorts. George.

While I appreciate, respect and understand IFA’s reasoning on the current President I STILL don’t understand why it’s PRO. It makes no sense to me.

IMO, a NEUTRAL stance would be more appropriate for ANY President. Period.

Somehow, I just don’t think that Paul and the other early Christians were Pro Tiberius, Caligula, Claudius, or Nero. Nor do I think that they were Anti, despite the persecutions that they saw under their hand. To me, the idea that they would put out the kind of gushing Pro-Emperor propaganda that we’re currently seeing from IFA is laughable.

It IS possible to see God’s hand moving in flawed, even evil, leaders DESPITE their flaws. However, to ignore the obvious doesn’t speak well of IFA.

I’m sorry, but it doesn’t.
It saddens me to see an organization that I have supported since its inception succumb to such low standards.

Thank you for listening and thank you for joining me in praying for the leadership of this country DESPITE the flaws, foibles, and follies of our current leadership.

Fred, I think you should read Matthew 13: 14&15. IFA is not wrong in their desire to have us pray for our leaders. Everything the president of IFA was appropriate.

Romans 13:1 Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.

God Almighty appointed Donald Trump to lead our nation. Unfortunately many Christians do not believe this scripture and prefer to have their own opinions elevated above God’s word, and prefer to judge the authority God appointed in this hour instead of being obedient and praying for him.
You can get angry at me but it’s not my sermon.People who complain are either ignorant of God’s word, or rebellious, which God said is equivalent to witchcraft.

Amen, Don! I just don’t understand people who somehow think that it’s impossible to be a Christian unless you are a soft spoken, mealy-mouthed person. Jesus and His disciples were not like that. They were outspoken and blunt about things…….I may not “like” the president’s personality, but I certainly do like his “politics” and his actions to try to restore some kindness and sanity to this, our beloved country. And when you are trying to restore our country, you have to be intelligent enough to realize that saying “please do this, senators” or “please agree with me on this bill” is not going to get you anywhere with all the crooks who conspire to destroy this country and/or enrich themselves at our expense. Pray for our president’s safety and continued wisdom, and please stop criticizing his personality…….he was elected to do a job, not to be a wimp!

I wonder if you would be quoting that passage if this were a person whose policies you don’t like.

As a matter of fact, our Constitution establishes We the People as the governing authority. So that means we are ultimately responsible for the people we elect and allow to be in office.

Not that I am arguing with Dave Kubal’s position on Trump – I pretty much agree with him. But while we should pray for and obey the government, we are not obligated to blindly support every leader.

Well, I did say I wonder. I do tend to be a little cynical about the idea of defending a president just because he’s in office. So maybe you can answer that for me. Would you have responded the same way if the debate was over someone’s bias in favor of Barack Obama?

          Don
          October 4, 2019

Yes, I often prayed for Mr. Obama. The Word does not make a distinction on who holds the office. It simply says to pray for them and recognize that the only authority obtained is that which is granted by God. If we serve Jesus, then we should be obedient and pray for all elected officials.

I see how divided we are as a Christian community and that is what bothers me the most. I don’t like President Trump much because I think he can be pretty arrogant and cruel sometimes, BUT to think of where we would be if we had Hillary Cinton as president scares me to death. So, I have learned to pray for the President regardless of my opinion of him for the same reasons expressed by IFA. I love God and I want this country to prosper just as all Americans do. My conflict with the President’s character is not because I want to judge him but because we always tell our children to respect others and to hang out with other children which are respectful of others and when I hear my president talk to people without respect I doubt whether I should be hanging out with him. President Trump is definitely flawed where we can all see but unless God talks to me about not voting for him, he has my vote again regardless of my feelings.

Amen! I pray a lot for our president, recognizing that
God is using him to turn America back to its God-given foundations. We need to rebuild a culture of life, rather than death, valuing human life from conception. We need to stand with Israel, recognizing that they are still God’s chosen people, praying that they will receive their Messiah, Jesus. We need to stand and support justice for all again, asking God to cleanse our government. I see our president as a rough man, but he is on the correct side – God’s side, and therefore I support and pray for him.

I don’t know whether God hand picked this president or not. Also, I do not know where we would be if Clinton were in office. I will say this: I find it hard to believe that God would condone the actions of this president or anyone no matter who he is. God is still God and does not change. I do not care for Trump and to be honest, if you love him as much as you do, let him know that one day even he is going to give an account of his actions. All of us will. Mocking someone with a physical disability, calling people out of their names, using profanity, standing with the enemies instead of with the United States of America, which, by the way, he swore to do when he took the oath of office. I have read the Bible and it still states that what comes out of a man’s mouth is coming from his heart.” God is not mocked: whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” AMEN.

I love this article. I too have issues with how our President conducts himself. But the bigger picture is “If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand”. Mark 3:25 NIV

My prayers for our President and Government has been revitalized.

Hi Brenda. I’m a different “Brenda” and I mostly agree with what you posted, but when I think of how in the world President Trump has, and does, endure what is slung at him constantly, including the downright lies, and twistings of what he does that is GOOD, is called “evil”, I am inclined to consider his “New York Style” to be but an “after thought”. It’s a “peripheral” thing. Just like you and I have “peripheral” things. When there is a crisis and someone comes to the rescue, are we going to focus on that person’s “rough manner” or be thankful that he, rough manner n’ all, rescued us from sure death and/or destruction? Donald Trump stepped into this role knowing that he was gonna be single-handedly fighting that monster with many tentacles, the “Deep State”. He knew it would be furious and throw everything it could at him, but he went in there with eyes wide open, intending to do what David did with Goliath. And that is, to defeat that big ol’ bully of a giant. Who CARES if, in going after the giant, the one fighting that giant has some “rough manners” or “speaks his mind”, etc? We need to RECOGNIZE this HUGE job that our President has, and that he is very alone in it, because the deep state has agents all IN the White House. THEY are the wolves in sheeps clothing, and their intent is to “bring Trump down” by any means necessary. Do you think it was TRUMP that got himself put in that White House? No. It was God Himself. And that is because God had MERCY on this country, yet one more time. President Trump needs our prayers and our support. God is using this man mightily. Amen?

President Trump is indeed not a perfect man. But his policies are what matter to God’s view of our nation. He is the most pro-life, pro-Israel, and pro-Christian president we have had in our country. The frustrating thing for me is Christians who do not like him personally(and I understand why), but who fail to consider the alternative! We did not have a third choice in the election! We were going to elect a president who either implemented Biblical principles or one who would enact policies for which God promised to severely judge a nation. I believe that we can judge his acceptability by who his enemies are! Trump has not given in to the anti-God, anti-life, or anti- Israel crowd at all. Satan wouldn’t be fighting Trump and seeking to destroy him to this extent if his agenda wasn’t a Godly agenda. Who but someone with his tenacity could have withstood the demonic onslaught that was surely going to be launched against any Republican who won the presidency? We need to get over the presidency being a personality contest and look at what God is using him to accomplish!

It is I who says of Cyrus, ‘ He is My shepherd! And he will perform all My desire.’ And he declares of Jerusalem, ‘She will be built,’ And of the temple, ‘Your foundation will be laid.’ ”
Isaiah 44:28 NASB

Thus says the Lord to Cyrus His anointed, Whom I have taken by the right hand, To subdue nations before him And to loose the loins of kings; To open doors before him so that gates will not be shut:
Isaiah 45:1 NASB

“Thus says Cyrus king of Persia, ‘The Lord , the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and He has appointed me to build Him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah.
Ezra 1:2 NASB

So many parallels in our nation today between President Trump and King Cyrus of the Babylonian Captivity. Oh that the Church could gird thier loins with the Belt of Truth, that we may discern how to stay dressed in the Full Armour of Light, a spiritual Army fighting powers unseen.

We too must fight the battles of our Wilderness to come into Fullness Christ has won for us. He is our High Priest, according to the order of Melchezedek.

During Israel’s captivity Jerusalem lay desolate, the Temple destroyed, His Holy Presence regarded as dung. Grieve the Holy Spirit and He will leave and give us what we desire. Yet His desire us for us, to dwell with and in us forever. The story of Mordecai and Esther reminds me if the church today. Moreover, throughout the provinces of King Xerxses there were many who did not bow the knee to Baal as it were. God was preserving a REMNANT for Himself and He used Xerxses, Cyrus, and others to orchestrate His will. (Today if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts, as they did in the wilderness…) Esther was an instrument in Gods hand to avert a genocide of His children and allowed Israel to defend herself (His Bride) and defeat over 75,000 enemies of Israel while in Captivity, under a gentile rule. Also, there was a huge revival among the Gentiles in those provinces, Esther 8:17. In several days we will celebrate Purim in commemoration of God’s deliverance of His people.

It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.
Isaiah 40:22

When Jesus came out of the Wilderness, He came out in Authority and in Power, full if the Holy Spirit. The Remnant understood the times (70 years), came back and rebuilt Jerusalem and the Temple, that the King Of Glory may once again dwell in her midst. Intimacy.

All hands in deck! Everyone to thier Post!

Thank you for responding soon to this concern. I take this biblical verse that is my anchor in these times of caos.
2 Corinthians 4:18 English Standard Version (ESV)
“as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.”

President Trump is God’s Man. He did not know the Lord when he came into office . Now he is born again & still a baby Christian . None of us were perfect as babies we had to learn to walk & talk & we stumbled many times. Our parents did not look down on us they gently picked us up again. That is what is happening to our president now. Please give him a chance to grow in Christ. He will be known in our country as one of the best presidents we ever had! Don’t listen to the media they are very biased but pray for them to speak the truth.President Trump has done many good things that go unnoticed. Our country will be united once again!

Blessings to all who may read my comment. I am going to honestly say I have had these same thoughts as to why there seems to be much focus on president Trump outside the norm for any other president. I have been battling with myself for years in how to pray for him, and not to be lead by my natural eyesight in what I am seeing him do, but be lead by my spiritual eyesight that I may see. I just had thoughts again this morning about why there seems to be so much intense backing up on this site for president Trump, before I seen this message. I see much, but not all the information that IFA is providing on Donald Trump’s behalf in support of him, however it will take much time to understand it all especially if you are not political intuned with what has gone on in our nation, and its politic’s world wide. It’s very confusing to know who is speaking truth, and knowing the real truth on either side no matter how much information is provided. I commend IFA for providing so much information to keep us in the loop, but at the same time it is a lot to digest. This is where God comes in as we pray for understanding in all that is going on. I believe last year I accidentally came upon a Youtube video of Kim Clement who has now passed away, but in 2007 gave a prophecy on Donald Trump becoming President, and how those in opposition will cry out impeach! impeach! and that he would be a hot blooded man, a praying man, and he will serve two terms. I am waiting as I have no choice to do for the whole prophecy to come to pass. I don’t see him as a praying man yet, but president Trump has done two amazing things that I know is pleasing in the site of God, and that was Jerusalem becoming the capitol Of Israel, and banning abortion at it’s highest level. God declares in His world that if a prophet speaks, and it comes to pass then He has spoken it. I will not go over the video please look it up on Youtube, but this is how I now address my prayers by keeping in mind of this prophecy, because I simply do not know all the in’s and out on all the information both from IFA, and our government to know the truth of everything, and to make judgement on it, but I can go to the one who does, and who is in control of all things, and who knows our hearts, and the intents of them. I direct everything to God when I don’t know what to think, but to trust in the prophetic word that was given in 2007, and waiting for it to come to pass, because truth be told even though we may not want to say it here many of us question in our minds what is going on with our president in some way. It’s very hard to stay focus when we see him making friends with the enemy, being caught in lies, flying the gay pride flag outside of the nations capitol in support of LGBT which God declares is a abomination, God loves them, but the sin will destroy this nation if we keep compromising just as God did with Sodom and Gomorrah, and also giving us feelings that he is unstable, BUT once again, God can and will use anyone to fulfill His divine will, and purpose. WE need to constantly battle the war on the inside of us for this particular president because of what we are seeing that we make the right strategic moves in prayer. I know that IFA is doing a good work here, but all people in leadership need to heard and seen on this site no matter who they are so we can pray for everyone that it won’t seem as if this a site for campaigning for one individual, yes focus on our current leader, and be lead of God to support him, but be open to all others as well, God bless you IFA!

I too am praying for our President because that is what God commands us to do. I don’t like or approved of his character but he is here for such a time as this. That being said, I lived in Guatemala for the last 8 years and I saw, under Obama’s administration, the LGBT flag raised over our American embassy there on July 4th and was appalled. Is trump perfect? No, there is not one of us humans that is, but just like God used kings to discipline Israel, or raise up a “good” king for a time that destroyed some of the evil things that were happening in Israel at the time, I believe God is using Trump to do the same in day and age.

Donald Trump is the bravest, strongest friend the USA has. I’m praying God shields his heart, protects him, his family, and his efforts to right the wrongs in this country. So much evil, greed in Washington- it breaks my heart.
One man stands up for USA and people kick him around like an unwelcome guest😪
Maybe you’d like a socialist leader to take charge and completely destroy the Anerican dream🇱🇷

Kathy. I felt the way you feel before President Trump was the actual candidate and did remark to the Lord. “Is this our only choice? I’m not voting for Clinton”. So I voted for President Trump and am thankful I did that now. The fruit of his labor for the good of this nation is evident. On the other hand when Obama was a candidate I was impressed by his manner and thought I should maybe vote for him. Especially since he was partially black. Thinking he might be good for our country. I prayed. The Lord spoke “totalitarian”. I looked that word up as I didn’t know for sure what it meant. He was not in favor of total government takeover. Socialist. He was elected and did much damage to our nation regardless of how nice he seemed to be. He caused more racial division than we had or else God let it expose it moreso. The answer to that can only be found in true repentance and true forgiveness. President Trump is a businessman and a fighter. We need that to recover and rebuild. He faces those who attack him boldly. They don’t like him because they can’t buy him and they continually try to distract our nation from going forward by fabricating lies and half truths concerning him. Our politicians have decided it’s more important to promote party than put America first over their selfish goals. I’m of the belief that God is in the fracas with Trump and most of America understand his actions. I also believe his faith in God is strong. And he will prevail as we pray. Let’s continue on on the army of the Lord. You have a tender heart. Keep it. Blessings to you as you seek Him for our nation.

Actually, President Trump is very kind. He is very rough however with news reporters and with political opponents. But if you’ll study Jesus’ life, He wasn’t always kind, and “sweet” is a word that never applied to Him. He called the Pharisees and lawyers (congressmen?) vipers, sons of Satan, and others things that would make you think He was a very harsh man! But He knew what was in their hearts was evil devised against Him, and He didn’t mince words.
President Trump doesn’t mince words either with those he knows have an evil agenda. I fully agree with him and nothing he says offends my sensitive soul! In my spirit, I know he loves America and is fighting for us and our future. And they’re trying to destroy him because of it. Don’t let them!!

YES, to everything you said Noreen! From the time Pres Trump announced he was running Father Yhovah told me he was His choice. Just as Messiah was born to redeem us from the spiritual law of sin and death, Donald Trump was born to lead this Country to the end of the age. Not much time left to bring people out of the idolatry of false beliefs! KingdomofLightTruth.org

That’s right — his friends always confirm his kindness. I’ve never even heard him raise his voice but the media caricatures him as angry, etc. maybe because they can’t handle it when he doesn’t cower to them and speaks truth which they interpret as being anger. They are used to bullying Republicans, Christians, and conservatives into submission so he is driving them insane by not cowering. I remember being intrigued by him years and years ago too because I looked at how clean cut, intelligent, well spoken, civil, and hardworking his children were and I thought no matter how the media caricatures this guy as they always have, he is doing something right.

God chose President Trump in order to rescue America from destruction! Those of us in the Kingdom of God should be the first to recognize this. Our nature, like the divine nature of God, should reflect love, joy, peace, patience, kindness…. Yet, we see Satan’s nature, criticism, judgment, censure, as an attack against the very one that God has chosen to confront EVIL….., coming from those presuming to represent God. God will use a man to offend the flesh in order to reveal the Spirit. President Trump is exposing the facade of corruption in the FBI and is revealing the corruption of the ruling class. God has given our President the ability to confront the evil spirits that have been ruling America for decades. Criticism and cynicism are the worship language of hell. Stop it!!!!

Ashamed Kathy,
I pray that you can overlook the flaws of our Dear President Donald Trump. He is not a perfect man but he is the man chosen by God to pull this nation back from its slippery slope into socialism and the loss of our religious freedoms. President Trump has done more for Religious Freedom and the fight against abortion than any president ever in the history of this nation. Did you know that he spoke at the United Nation on behalf of religious freedom and was the first U.S. president to ever do so. Did you know that on the very first day he was sworn into office he put end Johnson Amendment a Democrat policy that restricted religious freedom in our churches to speak of candidates? Did you know on the first day he was sworn into office he put into effect the end of government-funded abortions for other nations an Obama democrat policy. I pray that God doesn’t judge you as harshly as you to have judged President Donald Trump. Pray for the man he needs your support not your criticism. When you consider the alternative Hillary Clinton we need to be thanking God every day that he had mercy on this nation that she is not our president. Remember she’s the one who supports abortion up to the time of birth. And she is the one that says there are deep-seated religious beliefs that must change. That right there should put the fear of God and each of us.

You’re spot on Susie! I couldn’t have said it better myself. You covered the most important main points! Regardless, 1 Timothy 2:2 says to pray for our leaders so that we may live peaceful lives. Sadly, I have heard Christians say they couldn’t pray for President Trump! While the enemy continues to divide our nation, we must continue to let our light shine and be an example of God’s love. When the truth comes out of the evil that has been perpetrated on our country for decades people are literally going to be in shock. That’s when “the church” has got to be prepared to step up and be God’s representatives! We must continue to pray for our president and his family daily because the enemy would like nothing better than to repeat the horror of JFK…

I am horrified by the comment from this woman. On his first day in office, our president was surrounded by people praying for him. He is a Godly man. He may not always have been, but all indications now are that he is. I would like to know what the president has said that is bad or off color. The accusations against him come from everywhere even those who love God. When has he even cursed in a public speech? I do not understand The premise that the President is not “presidential” or he is not a Godly leader is ridiculous. This entire article is ridiculous. This is the first president in modern history who is actually promoting freedom in America and around the world. He is defending religious freedom in business and school. He is putting judges who actually follow our laws into courtrooms across the nation. I would like to see “Ashamed Kathy” go through the wringer this man has been put through to defend us and come out the other side as graciously and generously as President Trump and his wife do. Ridiculous and the actions of the Democrats and failure of cowardly Republicans to defend him is what we should be ashamed of.

Thank you as well….what is this nonsense? Is hatred of Trump now going to be perpetrated on a Christian PRAYER site? I have to question whether this “Kathy” person. October 3, 2019

Exactly! People who claim to be Christians need to stop being self righteous in their judgement against our President. We did not elect a Pastor or Preacher. God has clearly chosen Donald J. Trump to fulfill His purposes and plans for this great country. What are we as Christians doing to stand up against the sin and corruption in this world…. nothing! It is our responsibility as the church of Christ to be a light and example. Instead we’ve buried our cowardly heads in the sand because we’re too afraid to speak God’s truth! So thank God Almighty for President Trump who has the backbone and courage to stand up for the truth, because we have failed miserably as Christians to do our job. WE should be ashamed, humble ourselves and repent and ask God to restore and heal our land!

We must pray that Congress will wake up and do the job that they are there to do and Stop all the mess and think about the good that we could do for everyone if they work and pray together if they really want the USA to grow for every one.stop the lies and hate because we the people voted for Tramp.

Thank God for our President who is man enough to stand in the gap of the demons who have been running our country into the ground- we should thank God everyday for a pro-life man who loves this country doesn’t take a salary and has been willing to stand up for God and Country and take the arrows these demons toss at him day and night! Who else would put their life and reputation on the line and put up with this endless assault? No one!! If you don’t understand that this country has been taken over by deep state traitors at the highest levels with decades of corruption and pay to play schemes- trafficking children, guns and drugs and using their Foundations to launder the money and our military to guard and sometimes carry their assets then you do not deserve to live here in freedom! Get your brain engaged and research these things and stop being brainwashed by the big global news networks who lie all day long! God help us if we don’t stand behind this President and our last chance to repent and take back our Republic before the leftist traitors merge us into the New World Order!

Did not Jesus command we pray for our enemies? Did He not say to pray for our leaders who have authority over us?
Surely, Trump is not our enemy, is he, when for the first time we have a president who speaks the truth without compromise and does not practice hypocrisy or deceit. He is God’s chosen leader who is open to prayer, defends Christianity and is against religious persecution. He’s not a politician. This is the first President I know of during my time who puts action behind his words. Slick Politicians have smooth speech while grabbing power from the people. This generation is persuaded by outward appearances rather than facts. They have been indoctrinated with lies in most of our educational institutions. Cyrus was a King the Lord chose to save His people. I believe Trump is one like King Cyrus. But the Lord is looking for His body to depart from their wicked ways, as well, and pray for his chosen instruments. It has been said, when people believe more in an ideology, they are blinded from the facts. “Don’t confuse me with the facts”. The corrupt scribes and Pharisees were verbally disciplined and exposed by the Words of Jesus. He was not gentle in His speech when He called them vipers, and hypocrites. Sometimes it takes speaking the Truth to bring those who suppress the truth to conviction. I will pray for my enemies to be converted and I will pray for those in authority to do the will of our Lord.
1 Timothy 2:1-3
“ This is good and pleases our Savior”.
2 Chronicle 7:14, 1 Peter 4:17

I believe God has called President Trump to expose the enemy and protect His people.
It is my opinion, This could be a time like in the time of Queen Esther.

I agree that I don’t agree with everything President Trump says either, but God doesn’t ask me to agree with our leaders. He requires that we pray for them. Right noe, President Trump is the only one standing up for Israel and the rights for born again believers (called Christians). Other presidents have done what he’s accused of doing and worse, yet a biased media has not reported them. I don’t like politics nor the way it makes seemingly rational people behave. But I do recognize that there is a spiritual battle going on for our nation in the guise of politics. This is the time for believers to pray…not just for President Trump, but for those who don’t know the dangerous path our nation is headed down if we yield to the agenda of Democrats (not all) who mindlessly vote for their party rather than upholding the desires of the American majority. I am saddened by the constant fighting among our nation’s leaders, but I am not in despair. I take comfort in knowing that man plans what is in his heart, but the purpose of the Lord will stand. And I trust that He will work all things together for the good of those whom He has called.. so whether you like our President or not, and even if you disagree with him, keep praying for him that God’s purpose will be fulfilled in him.

Wonderful answer,IFA!!! First two or three comments pure truth.( I didn’t read all the comments) We must stand steadfast in prayer for our President. He is standing in the gap for our country. We must “have his back” as he takes theses lies from the put of hell thrown at him. We must pray that his spirit isn’t wounded ,that he knows God loves him, that he seems God’s wisdom as he strives to set our “ship of state” back into the calm Waters of truth and freedom. I don’t like the angry words my teenagers uses sometimes but I still love him, the same goes for my love for our President.

If you claim to be an American, you should support and pray for your President. Whether you like him of agree with his policies is not the issue. In this free country, you can vote your voice, but crying like an infant will never get your way, and by the way “He who is without sin, let him cast the first stone.” If you were to ask Jesus, before you criticize the man’s hair or his seemingly haughty frown or dictator like actions, that would be His reply. Be grateful that we still get to elect our leaders in this country. Take a good look at the alternatives! I encourage you all to start each day with a grateful heart. Let love prevail and God’s will be done!

God bless you, and this is not to cause a argument, BUT every one is entitled to feel the way they want to feel, and what Kathy is not doing is crying like a baby, but expressing her concern as to why there seems to be unbalanced when it comes to our president on this site, she is being open and honest, and not presenting any evil, or hatred towards him, or IFA. Indeed we are to pray for our president, and she said she was doing just that in the area of repentance, if we see something that doesn’t look like God operating in any of our elected officials then we should be praying about it, praying for change, and for holiness, and righteousness in our leaders, we are to PRAY in every area including being repentant of wrong doings, attitudes, mindsets, evil, discord, rivalry, pride etc that is found in our nations leaders that God will change whatever it is of concern, this is IFA, and everyone is being prayerful about something. Kathy is entitled to voice her opinion in love, I see not hatred, or offense here, God bless you!

      Frank (Sandy)Ingersoll

Good reply. My remarks more aimed at words spoken that pull down the President, rather than strengthen. IFA is a powerful voice aimed at strengthening our President on issues which are vital to our Christian faith. It is always easier to criticize our many differences of taste. Thanks for honest reply. Keep praying. It is our greatest weapon and will produce what we want as Christians in America.

Blessings, in respect, I don’t see pulling down in your efforts against any wrong words, or deeds that she is expressing, it is what she is truly feeling on the inside of herself whether you agree to it, or not. What I see in your comment is for her to be in agreement with you, and your feelings, and how she should act, and feel towards our president and country, but everyone don’t feel the way you feel, so let’s encourage, and pray that she can see the heart, and will of God for our nation, it’s not about us and our feelings, it’s about God’s will be done, GBU!

President Trump is not Jesus. But Jesus is using him to show me personally what He went through when He was here on this earth.

It did not matter how kind Jesus was; it did not matter that He was trying to reveal the Father’s heart to the people. It did not matter that He came to fulfill the law to FREE us. It did not matter that He healed people of diseases that were never healed before (people born blind; leprosy). All that mattered was that they were SO OFFENDED that He was going contrary to the establishment that they did everything in their power to discredit Him and destroy Him.

I clearly see the demonic spirit at play in what happened then and what is going on now.

THAT is what I am against—THAT is what we need to stand and pray against!

We don’t vote for a national pastor when we vote for a president. My prayer before the 2016 election was that God would raise up a charismatic (not religious charismatic) conservative who would capture the imagination of the American people. Was I ever surprised by the answer. He’s bold, he’s in your face, he’s not nice to his enemies but he has put in place solid policies every time he could in the face of the most disgusting attacks. I pray every day that God will protect him, and bless him with wisdom, knowledge, understanding, discernment and (please God) discretion. I pray that God would surround him with wise counselors who understand the times and know what to do. 2 Chr 12:32

Well said, Barbara, and the rest of you! I,too, am often dismayed by Trump’s prompt verbal responses to attacks, but…I don’t always guard my words, either. And he’s a FIGHTER – anointed & appointed by God for “just such a time as this”. Thank God for seeing that we got Trump and not Clinton! I, for one, will keep praying for him, his family and administration. Did any of you hear his post-UN wrap-up speech? All the things he accomplished there in addition to the wonderful FIRST EVER speech on Religious Freedom? He was tired, he sounded subdued and beaten. He has done and enacted such wonderful things for us in this country and around the world, and all he gets is criticism. Yes, indeed, we do need to remember Jesus’ words: “Let him/her who is without sin cast the first stone.” God bless this President, guard him and help him to keep growing in his Christian walk.

Please read the Story of Jehu. God told me in 2015 I am raising up a Jehu to motivate the eunuchs to cast Jezebel down and deal with all her children in the highest seats of government in this nation, and national media. The Bible said he “rides like a madman”, how many times have you heard “he is mad, or tweets like he is a madman and mentally unstable” this is what’s necessary for that spirit and Jezebel. The email said he dosent act like Jesus and I would ask which Jesus because the Bible talkes about Jesus making a whip and driving the money changers, the ones who were using their position to steal from the people, in the zeal of the Lord from the temple. He may be acting more like what Jesus would do than we realize since the US is the only other nation besides Israel that was birthed from entering covenant with God. Here is what the people who came ashore April 29, 1607 in Cape Henry Virginia that is now Virginia Beach Virginia. Just like what Abraham did before Israel was born years later.

Blessings,
Dan

Robert Hunt on April 29, 1607v
We do hereby dedicate this Land, and ourselves, to reach the People within these shores with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to raise up Godly generations after us, and with these generations take the Kingdom of God to all the earth. May this Covenant of Dedication remain to all generations, as long as this earth remains, and may this Land, along with England, be Evangelist to the World. May all who see this Cross, remember what we have done here, and may those who come here to inhabit join us in this Covenant and in this most noble work that the Holy Scriptures may be fulfilled.

Using covenantal language, Hunt declared, “from these very shores the Gospel shall go forth not only to this New World but the entire world.” The following Bible passage was read at the conclusion of the prayer: “All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee. For the kingdom is the Lord’s and he ruleth among the nations” (Ps. 22:27–28). There is none of the usual eschatological talk here that we read so much about today.

Thank you both for the concern and the excellent response!
I also wish President Trump had a less abrasive demeanor. But when I see all that he is up against (literally Hell itself?!) I begin to realize that a meeker, gentler man could not withstand the onslaught!
Stay strong in your faith Christians. Pray for our president DAILY. Pray that he heeds God’s directives. Pray that Satan is thwarted in all of his schemes and that our nation repents.

I am in no way ashamed of our President who humbled himself and professed Jesus as his Savior. He has had a willingness for pastors to come around him and pray with him and for him and has requested prayer on multiple occasions.
I’m proud of our president who stands for Biblical marriage, life not abortion and has been vocal about this. He restored Jerusalem as the Capitol of Israel is right in line with the Bible and Biblical mandate.
I thank God that in this hour of our history he is checking a firm stand on religious freedom and defend our Constitution and constitutional rights.
There is not much being said to try to destroy our borders and our national identity by wicked globalists. This man has been under fire since day one. I pray that Christians will wake up and see that the attack on President Trump is an attack on all Americans our freedoms, our Nation..

1 Corinthians 1:27 states: But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.(NIV) I love how this verse starts “BUT GOD”, we may all have our own agendas and beliefs how Trump should be, however, it is God who directs his heart, he is God’s man for the hour. When I look at Trump’s life, God knew exactly what He was doing. God is not bogged down by religious spirits. To turn this nation right side up God needed a man who could stand in the storm and keep going strong. When we truly look at how the enemy tried every trick in the book to keep him from being elected, from Google to our own government, you know God’s hand was upon him. And pray for him, God is working on his life to move him from businessman to President. No matter what happens, keep saying “BUT GOD”, God always wins.

Amen!! So wisely thought through and written. I’m a FIRM believer Trump was hand picked by God for a time such as these. He is what our Republic needs to help save it, and to expose all the evil that has been going on for decades. He IS brash, and decadent, and arrogant, and so many things that Jesus isn’t. But…Trump is NOT Jesus, but a fallen man- just like the rest of us. But, all his life he has been preparing for this.

Invoking prayer for deception to me is against Gods will for America and for us. Nancy Pelosi tries to cover her sins with insincere prayer.

As a contrast, your article brings up significant action by the Trump administration, not just words, that I support. That’s why I will vote for him in 2020. It’s not what a person says that matters to me it’s what they do. Shows what James meant when we are told to be ‘doers of the word and not hearers only.’

I also believe God uses the most unlikely if people to carry out His purposes. Trumps’ brashness makes that point. He’s not a slick politician. I do not question his loyalty to America.

He temporarily shut down his business a time of economic expansion. He donates his salary back to taxpayers to give funding to departments doing a fiscally responsible job. Most politicians are only interested in making money from back room deals and maintaining power. They are ruthless in that pursuit. Trump is ruthless in what we want. He has no agenda but to make America free and prosperous. God is using Trump to bless us. To free us from tyrannical politicians.

I don’t have to like all people, but I do recognize the difference between evil forces and God using an imperfect person for His purpose.

And so I pray for President Trump.

Proverbs 6:16-19. These 6 things doth The Lord hate: yea, 7 are an abomination unto Him. A proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speakers lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
When I read these verses all I can see is the left radicals. They have done nothing but lie and try to divide our country ever since our President has been elected.
I thank You Lord Jesus as in Deut. 32:35. Vengeance and recompense belongs to You and their foot shall slide in due time for the day of their calamity is at hand and the things that shall come upon them make haste!!! I praise You Father God that Your righteous judgement is prevailing and has the enemy running scared and are in panic mode. Panic: sudden uncontrollable fear or anxiety often causing wildly unthinking behavior. The left has lost all common sense they are driving a nail into their coffin. Our Pastor shared that just like Saul was appointed as King so has our President been appointed. Our officials are appointed not anointed. We know God can work and speak through anyone. Not one President of this great nation has ever been perfect. We are commanded to pray for them! With fervent prayer and pray expectantly that he will be softened, but God is using whoever is in office for such a time as this. Lifting our country and all our officials up in prayer.

Jesus had plenty to say about and to the hypocrites of His day. Leaders who were pretending to be righteous on the outside but inwardly dead to God; who had double standards of justice, who lied, deceived their followers, cheated the poor; piously bypassing the requirements of God’s word by substituting the traditions of men. His words to them were tough and direct. He did not care about how they might “feeeel” or flinch in His delivery.

Keep in mind, America is the last place on earth from which the gospel of the kingdom of Jesus Christ is being preached around the world. There are sinners yet to be saved and become a part of the bride of Christ. Satan and his miions would like nothing more than to remove Christians from the public square, keep us out of the public discourse, shut down the freedoms that we enjoy and ultimately stop the spread of the gospel. But God will always act to protect the interests of His Son, Jesus Christ. We have but to ask.

We must remember that there are two sides to every story and make the effort to be fully informed about the political platform of each party and where candidates stand on the issues important to us as Christians and as Americans. For the president and all God-fearing men and women in government, we need to pray and vote our Godly values. It is up to us to ask God for His kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. If we don’t, shame on us.

America has a pretty full bucket of unrepented sin. It looks to me like the river of judgment is rising and President Trump has been selected by God to implement aspects of that judgment.p Who knows? Perhaps unity in prayer across the denominations might help. Albert Smith

For the sister who is “ashamed” of Mr. Trump: IMHO, one’s character can best be spoken of by those who know one personally. Most of the media pundits, democrat-socialists, pseudo-republicans commenting negatively on his character or his behaviour have never even been in the same room with Mr. Trump. Their surmising is rooted in a “resistance” agenda to turn voters against him, not personal experience with him.

If you have not already done so, go to youtube, twitter or his campaign site and listen and watch his speeches for yourself.

Accept nothing/no one in the political realm at face value. For example, the widely circulated photos of illegal immigrant children sleeping in cages were taken during the Obama administration. But that is rarely mentioned in the media. So many lies, so much deception!!

We must make the effort to be fully informed, guard our hearts against deception, pray for discernment and ask God to open the eyes of our fellow Americans.

Very well-written article! Thank you for links to your supporting information. I, too, cringe at some of the things President Trump says. However, for all of the reasons you mentioned, I thank God every day for this President and pray continually for him and for those in our government who are seeking God’s will and wisdom. As others have said, no President is perfect – reading biographies of past Presidents makes it clear that many were involved in sinful activities such as adultery. Our God can take any imperfect, flawed, human and accomplish His will. I love IFA and this community of brothers and sisters in Christ! Thank you for leading this wonderful organization! May God bless you as well!

Amen! We need to consider the alternative. Do we want someone elected that prefers to kill millions if infants? That will destroy our Constitution? Take away our freedoms? Hates and will not support Israel? The Lord sets up kings and deposes them. Does our President have s potty mouth? Yes, do I like it? No. Do I pray for him? Yes. But those who cry out that our candidate must be perfect for the Lord to use him, and yet we who do the voting are not perfect either. It is the choice of which is worse. Get over trying to find a “perfect” candidate. Believe me, the haters will dig up dirt on anyone who apposes them, even if they have to go back to their childhood! Keep praying for the Lord’s Will. He will bring it to pass. Jesus was the only perfect person on earth, and it has been said that He probably wouldn’t be voted in either because of the hearts and minds of many voters. We must do our due diligence to pray and seek the Lord’s Will. He has a plan and it is thoroughly spelled out in Scripture. Pray for wisdom and discernment. Let the Lord guide those who seek Him above all else.

I believe God has raised up Trump for such a time as this. Pray we must. Put on the full armor of God. So many ministry leaders encouraged the body of Christ: Kim, Jonathan kahn, Lance Wallnau, Mark Taylor. Billye Brim. Now a Q movement for a great awakening. This appears to be a move of almighty God to give another opportunity for grace on America to repent and turn back to God. Trump is not perfect, Abraham lincoln was not perfect. What an amazing time we live in.

Scripture show how God can use the most scrupulous person (Saul) to accomplish His work. A man bent on destroying the new Christians was used mightily to accomplish His will. Paul went on to write much of the new testament. I believe Donald Trump is being used to keep America from going over the cliff. He has some rough edges, but in God’s hand he can make America be what our founding fathers intended if we keep him in our prayers.

One who dislikes Trump’s actions may also dislike our Rescuer and God’s Messiah to be King, Yeshua`s (our “Savior Jesus Christ’s”) reign when He comes. The Man who overturned the money changer’s tables and drove them out of the Temple court with a whip; the Man who verbally RIPPED into the scribes and Pharisees in Matthew 23; the Man who spoke the parable in Luke 19:11-27 (look carefully at the last verse!) is the Man who shall reign over the house of Yhudah (“Judah”), the house of Israel, and the WORLD when He returns!
People THINK they know the will of the Messiah Yeshua`, BUT DO THEY REALLY?

We have never had a perfect President and never will for there are no perfect men or women to be found including Pastors/preachers. God’s pool of selection is of the same pool of selection from which all of us come from regardless of our chosen or called profession. May God grant us a portion of the Grace that He has provided through His Son that we may live with the faults of our fellow man. Amen!

Some so called Christians are so ignorant of God’s will and ways it’s scary. The lack of discernment is scary. Some even think Obama’s attitude was more gentle and more Christian than Trump’s, even though Obama supported and ACTIVELY promoted homosexuality and the most wicked abominable sins stated in the bible, all they see is he was so loving, he never talked like Trump, he..didnt hurt people’s feelings,…ignorant childish saints. These Christians are like little children in discernment. They do not know God’s will. President Trump may be unsaved now, but the first time professing witches across the world rise up to protest a President, that was a big hint that Trump’s presidency is spiritual and Satan is scared of something God is doing or about to do. Pray for Trump to be truly born again but please as this article says for an unsaved man, he is doing more to fight for the causes of God than many so called Pastors and enduring the hate for it. God help revive us all. The rain that fell during God’s inauguration, I never knew this Trump before then but as someone who has been praying for revival for many years, when the rain fell God said revival rains will come to USA during his presidency. I’m not surprised Satan is distraught and fighting to remove him at every turn. But you can impeach Trump, but you can’t impeach GODS plans. It’s like kicking against the pricks, Christs will will be done.

Our President got saved in the Oval Office when he was elected. [He wants his legacy to be known as the Praying President.] It takes the rest of his life to be formed into the image of Jesus, same as any other newly-born believer. Since none of us “arrive” at perfection on this side of the veil, we, individually, must repent for our own lives and have mercy to pray for others who are going through this life process. Our God is soooo good to us to have thought about this time in history to prepare this man, Donald J. Trump, our chosen man of the hour, to be the unique instrument of the power of God and to be manifested to restore this nation back to the Republic foundation God purposed for it in the beginning. This was planned BEFORE the earth even had its foundation!!! This alone is worthy of our praises to God and to consistent prayer for where we are today in history! All praise and honor goes to the love, thoughtfulness, and justice of our God. We are to pray through the will of God done on earth as it is in heaven. Each one of God’s people have greatness in them. NOW is the time He wants to use His people to manifest their greatness to and in the world. Use YOUR greatness to show the world what God has and is doing. Be those who recognize how important intercession is to America and to the world. The HARVEST of souls is great and we must work while there is still light! Blessings to all the faithful intercessors who serve God’s will and purpose on earth. It is a time of bringing HOPE for the future to all believers.

King David had some major failures and yet God called him a “man after His own heart.” When we examine the people God used to advance His purposes in the Bible (Jacob, Moses, Peter, etc.), they were very human with character flaws and mistakes. God surely isn’t looking for perfection because only Jesus is the perfect man without sin. Our part is to pray, not to judge.
