Whenever a believer stands up for the truth, we should support them in prayer. Let’s pray for protection for this woman and others like her. In fact, did you see the comments on Why the Whole World Is Paying Attention to One Woman? People are speaking out and standing up for truth and losing their jobs and their reputations. We need to uphold them in prayer.
From Fox News. A California childcare teacher sued her former employer last week after she was allegedly terminated and mistreated because of her religious objection to reading books to children featuring same-sex couples.

Nelli Parisenkova, who is being represented by lawyers with the Thomas More Society, worked four years at Bright Horizons Children’s Center in Studio City and cared for children aged five and younger, according to the complaint she filed Thursday in the Superior Court of California.
The lawsuit claims Parisenkova was aware of such LGBT-themed material at the Studio City location of the largest child care company in the U.S., but at first had not been required to read them. …
Parisenkova’s situation changed in April when Katy Callas, who is director of the location, learned of Parisenkova’s religious objections to the material, refused her request for a religious accommodation, and ultimately created a hostile work environment that led to her termination, according to the complaint.
The complaint explained how for Parisenkova, who is “a devout Christian,” reading such books to children “would violate her religious beliefs and constitute promotion of intimate relationships and choices that are contrary to the teachings of her faith.”
“Parisenkova formally requested a religious accommodation from Bright Horizons that aligned with her prior informally granted request. Bright Horizons responded by categorically denying the request,” the suit said. …
“Instead, Bright Horizons issued a counseling memo with false statements, terminated her life insurance benefits, required her to complete retraining in diversity issues, and encouraged her to resign her position,” the suit alleged. “Ms. Parisenkova could not return to work without an accommodation; so, Bright Horizons terminated her employment.”
The suit slaps Bright Horizons and its staff with several charges, including unlawful retaliation, failure to prevent discrimination and harassment, religion-based harassment, wrongful termination, failure to accommodate, unlawful constructive discharge and disparate treatment. …

Exactly who gave these schools the right to say what children would be taught? I don’t believe that parents ever handed over their rights to their childrens education to the government or anyone else. This overstepping of bounds and authority must be brought to a full and complete stop immediately. Too often those in positions of power think that being in that position somehow gives them the say so over everything, if that were true then we need and must start dismantling those positions. I have never in my life voted to give or acquiesce my rule and/or authority over myself or my family to any other human being or entity or government. Therefore, it is beyond time to put a stop to these power grabbing people and governments. If they are assuming powers not delegated to them then it’s time to dismantle and destroy them altogether. We must never allow others to usurp authority over us as, by Almighty God’s Grace, we are a free people.

This is only a drop in the bucket of what Christians can expect in the coming years. Let us pray for courage and resolve in the face of this evil.
This case and the mounting cases we seem to hear about almost every day should also reveal to parents the extent the enemy is employing to corrupt and pervert their child, even our little ones. I wonder how many parents were aware that their K-5 child was being exposed to this type of material. The parents of Bright Horizon should have been up in arms and come along side this teacher to support her stance and convictions.
Similar to how the enemy seems to have his army operating with one demonic mind and purpose (many of the teachers that are guilty of promoting this material belong to that perverse community), we as God’s representatives need to be of one mind and Spirit ( 1 Peter 3:8; 1 Cor 3:1-3). Let us continue to pray for my Sister and also as we go to the voting polls in the next couple weeks, let us vote in people who reflect the mind of Christ and not satan.
So thankful for Nelli Parisenkova’s stand, that she would not read material to children that is an abomination to Almighty God, that she refused to capitulate to “complete retraining in diversity issues”–the communist method of forcing conformity to evil–that she pushed back, taking advantage of her American liberties of conscience to sue for damages and re-enstatement, with rightful religious accommodation.

Dear GOD – I pray for this teacher for standing up for her Faith. I pray that You protect her and all Christian teachers. There is so much evil in this world and is threatening our young children in their schools. The teachings and things that are now being taught are really getting out of hand. I pray that schools/teachers teach the basic school subjects and leave sexuality out of it.

God’s children are persecuted in the workplace all of the time and I am no exception, There was a time that I prayed and begged God to get me out of a teaching position. I had been attacked from every side and I saw just how wicked those without Jesus in their life could be.
Taking a stand for Christ, and saying no to evil is always the right thing to do. I was mercifully removed from that position and have been at peace since then. I forgave those who were so cruel because it set me free and it helped me not to hold them in bondage. My prayer is still that one day,they will come to know Jesus.
