I Prayed have prayed
Father, we pray that you would guard the hearts of our children against all the attacks of the enemy. We pray that you would be with them. Cover them with your love and surround them with your holy presence.

No matter how great the evil, God is greater still. No matter how deep the pit, God’s love is deeper still. We share this article to inspire you to pray fervently for children of all ages.

From Christian Post. Satan is not just trying to silence the next generation. He is seeking to wipe it out, declaring an all-out war on our children.

They are being slaughtered in the womb. They are being kidnapped and sold into sex slavery. They are being raped and abused and neglected and used. They are being brainwashed by their teachers and bullied by their peers. They are lost and lonely, depressed and suicidal. They cut themselves and kill themselves. Their innocence is being robbed and their security is being stolen….

Let’s look at some nationwide trends, affecting tens of millions of young people.

We’ll start with suicide. One website explains:

Suicide is the SECOND leading cause of death for ages 10–24.

Suicide is the SECOND leading cause of death for college-age youth and ages 12–18.

More teenagers and young adults die from suicide than from cancer, heart disease, AIDS, birth defects, stroke, pneumonia, influenza, and chronic lung disease, COMBINED.

Each day in our nation, there are an average of over 3,703 attempts by young people grades 9–12.  If these percentages are additionally applied to grades 7 & 8, the numbers would be higher.

Along with issues like suicide, another website explains that, in the next 24 hours in the United States:

  • 2,795 teenage girls will become pregnant.
  • 15,006 teens will use drugs for the first time.
  • 3,506 teens will run away.
  • 2 teens will be murdered.

What about children being sexually abused?

During a one-year period in the U.S., 16% of youth ages 14 to 17 had been sexually victimized;

Over the course of their lifetime, 28% of U.S. youth ages 14 to 17 had been sexually victimized;

Children are most vulnerable to CSA [child sexual abuse] between the ages of 7 and 13.

Even more shockingly, “according to a 2003 National Institute of Justice report, 3 out of 4 adolescents who have been sexually assaulted were victimized by someone they knew well.” And in a major, government-sponsored report, “Among the eye-opening statistics shared,” was the fact that “one website on Tor hosted 1.3 million images depicting children subjected to violent sexual abuse.”

Focusing on the incalculable damage done by porn,

  • 64% of young people, ages 13–24, actively seek out pornography weekly or more often.
  • Porn sites receive more website traffic in 2020 than Twitter, Instagram, Netflix, Zoom, Pinterest, and LinkedIn & Twitter combined.
  • Recorded child sexual exploitation (known as “child porn”) is one of the fastest-growing online businesses.
  • 624,000+ child porn traders have been discovered online in the U.S.13

Is your heart bursting yet?

So, to every demonic spirit who is dead set on destroying our children, we say, “Take your hands off our kids! They belong to us, not to you, and you will not destroy their lives. We declare this together in Jesus’ name!” Then, in the sight of God, pledge yourself afresh to be the guardians of your children. Your words must be backed by your actions….

Psalm 127:3 Children are a gift from the LORD; they are a reward from Him.
Psalm 139:13-16 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in Your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.
Romans 11: 29 For God’s gifts and His call can never be withdrawn.
Proverbs 6:16-19 There are six things the LORD hates—no, seven things He detests: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that kill the innocent, a heart that plots evil, feet that race to do wrong, a false witness who pours out lies, a person who sows discord in a family.
Jeremiah 32:35 They have built pagan shrines to Baal in the valley of Ben-Hinnom, and there they sacrifice their sons and daughters to Molech. I have never commanded such a horrible deed; it never even crossed My mind to command such a thing. What an incredible evil, causing Judah to sin so greatly!

Children are God’s gift to humankind. He has a purpose and plan for each life, which cannot be revoked by man or evil. From the beginning of time, satan has had his way with children of man but our Abba Father hates the hands that kill the innocent. The practice of child sacrifice was one reason the Lord sent Judah into Babylonian captivity. How then do we in America expect to be spared judgement when we abort, abuse and abandon the innocent? Lord, I plead the blood of Jesus Christ on children here and abroad. I pray they will be protected from all of satan’s plans and we, who love You, will never stop working against the plans of the enemy, against those influenced ty the enemy and against those who openly worship him. I ask this in the Precious Name of Your Son and my Savior and thank You for salvation through Jesus Christ. Amen

I think one of the most tragic facts behind these horrifying statistics is that much of the evil happens in the home. Unhappy homes breed a search for connection with online “friends” who turn out to be predators. Anger and conflict between parents drives kids out of the home looking for relationships which may introduce them to drugs and sex. (And classrooms encourage them to have sex.) Parents who both put careers above investing their lives and love into raising, nurturing, and disciplining the next generation are doing not only their children but all of society a disservice. Parents divorce, sometimes because of abuse in the home, but single spouses often cannot afford childcare, so children are neglected and more vulnerable, with few or no good role models–or a parent remarries and a step-parent is less likely to care about step-children and more likely to violate boundaries with them than they would their own. Those God entrusts to protect their children become the ones the children need protection from.

Most young children being abused or becoming desperate enough to try suicide are not victims from a stranger outside the home but from a perpetrator inside the home. (I have not done studies on this but have put together the studies of others plus simply made observations and drawn conclusions.)

All of these fuel longings for unmet basic human needs for love, safety, belonging, stability which they had a right to in the home.

I plead the blood of Jesus over all the children! The born and the unborn! Jesus is LORD and God is absolutely good!
