As America approaches its 250th anniversary, believers across the nation are preparing to gather for the 75th annual National Day of Prayer. This year’s event comes at a pivotal moment for the nation, with organizers emphasizing unity across generations and a renewed commitment to seeking God for America’s future.

This year’s theme is “Glorify God among the nations, seeking Him in all generations,” focusing on intergenerational unity and giving glory to God for the nation’s history.
It’s drawn from 1 Chronicles 16:24: “Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples.” (NASB)
Kathy Branzell, president of the National Day of Prayer Task Force, tells CBN News younger generations are increasingly turning to faith not just as a “death destination” conversation, but as a source of “hope for today.”
Branzell pointed to growing spiritual hunger among younger Americans, highlighting Gen Z’s willingness to openly share their faith on college campuses and during spring break outreaches. She also encouraged believers to develop consistent prayer habits by finding prayer partners in their communities and workplaces, stressing that prayer should become a “holy habit” rather than an occasional ritual.
This year’s National Day of Prayer event will take place at Statuary Hall on May 7 and feature several prominent Christian and government leaders, including Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, evangelist Will Graham, Senate Chaplain Barry Black, and House Chaplain Margaret Grun Kibben. Organizers hope the gathering will inspire Americans to stop complaining about the nation’s problems and instead intercede faithfully for revival and healing.

I am praying for the end to abortion on demand, for our nation, and an increase of jobs that use our hands for creative work: less violence and more building, planting, repairing, and preserving, and finding resources in our own country.
Lord god, THANK YOU! Eyes are being opened, hearts are being transformed, our youth are gathering around the mighty throne of grace–amazing and wonderful! Please Lord, continue to hear our cries for help and extend your mercy, even though we don’t deserve it.

My wife and I are in our 28th year of prayer journeys and conducting our largest yet. Some background:
I was a tank commander in Vietnam. It was the habit of some in the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment to plant small U.S. and State Flags in the places we operated. It was our way of “Claiming Our Turf for America”. Fast forward 50+ years and now my wife and I are in the process of planting “An Appeal To Heaven” (A2H) Flags in all 50 States and the District Of Columbia to “Claim America for the Kingdom Of God”. To date we’ve planted A2H Flags in all the contiguous Lower 48 and D.C.; only Hawaii and Alaska remain..
We have a detailed list of the places we planted A2H flags across America. If you are interested, contact us and ask about your State. Some of the places are unusual, some obscure, some highly prophetic.
As we planted we witnessed and gave A2H Flags as souvenirs and the responses were very interesting.
We’re making this known so you can see that there are intercessors who are dedicated to the awakening, revival, and reformation of our country and be encouraged. We are Called to this. There are many like us. We live in exciting times.

Heavenly Father, You are the Great ‘I-AM’. On this day, ‘The National Day of Prayer’, May 7, 2026, we, the American citizens, who love our country, the United States of America, pause to acknowledge Your presence here with us; to remember that Your dream for us is an abundant life; a life that is filled with joy, love and peace. Lord God, we are grateful for dedicated Americans who molded this nation into a land of the free and a home of the brave, a country for all people. Those who passed the torch of liberty to us invested much of themselves in personal sacrifice. They gave their energy to help neighbors build homes. They gave their food to feed those who lost employment. They gave their time to encourage the sick. They provided a place of rest to those who were homeless.
Heavenly Father, You have blessed us with much beyond the simple necessities of daily life. Grant us a clear vision of the needs of the poor. And help us to emulate our forefathers by sharing our wealth with those less fortunate than ourselves. In so doing, we pass on to others the hope of opportunity and the encouragement of a caring nation. May we know that it is in giving that we speak most clearly of our faith and patriotism. Bless us now and guard our country, the United States of America, always! In the mighty and holy Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and by the Power of His Love for us; and by His Authority and His Sacrificial Blood, I believe and pray! Amen.

Lord Jesus, I am very grateful that our nation’s leaders have set today as our National Day of Prayer. Yes, the problems in our nation are numerous as weknow. We are blessed to know that You are greater and mightier than ALL of these issues COMBINED.. We cry out to You fervently about these issues. We so need revival in our land. We SO desperately are in dire need of an End Times Great Awakening. Please, show us very clearly how to do our part in bringing this to pass. Thank You Jesus.

I hear little talk about repentance according to 2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” Repentance as individuals, and as a nation, for allowing things to happen, revival is not going to come if we don’t repent, and come with hearts of sorrow, the abortions carried out, while the church is sleep, listening to a Satanic Lullaby. “In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all things, charity.
Thank you, sister for your TRUE HEART of Humility and Intercession. It seems that speaking of THE URGENT NEED for REPENTANCE and actually REPENTING has grown to be an abhorrence in American “Christianity”. ALL the foundational prophets spoke and rebuked the people to REPENT. John the Baptist exhorted REPENTANCE -not “rededication programs” (Matthew 3:2) and the first WORDS out of the Mouth of Our Messiah as He began His Ministry were “REPENT, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!”(Matthew 4:17)
Those who have STUDIED like Bereans understand we CANNOT avoid repentance and side step it and go STRAIGHT to “revivals and rededications and blessings; for it is like rebellious children asking to be rewarded WITHOUT showing any willingness to change our ways. How this GRIEVES the Father’s Heart! Cry out like Jeremiah 9 “Wailing Women” or like Esther, if you prefer, for the Holy Spirit to radically encounter and CONFRONT, CONVICT, CLEANSE and CONFORM us as Image and Like was bearers of Gen.1:26 in 2026! Holy Spirit has given me Ezekiel 9:4 several times for America, “Go throughout (America) and put a MARK on the foreheads of those who GRIEVE and LAMENT over all the DETESTABLE things done in it (He was referencing America.) Holy Spirit has also revealed that the reason WHY so many Americans refuse to repent nor have any inclination is our plethora of false prophets (Jer. 23:9-22). We belong to Christ–our focus must be the COMING KINGDOM and the Harvest of Souls. We are at the dire point that if prophets are NOT exhorting REPENTANCE in the face of the moral collapse, depravity and lawlessness in our nation…run from them! COME OUT of her My People! Do NOT follow blind guides! BE HOLY for YHWH is HOLY and HOLY BLOOD 🩸 was torturously shed for our redemption…NOT for what America has become. Cry 😭 out, that some may REPENT and have CIRCUMCISED hearts in Christ! Our earnest tears 😭 are a balm to Father’s Heart! LET us humbly, with broken grieving hearts SEEK HIS FACE in awe and reverence!
Let us invite everyone we meet to take moment everyday to praise God for all His blessings. I thank and trust in God. 🙏😇🙏❤️

It is my privilege to pray with other believers this day for revival , rededication of our people, of our hearts to Jesus our Lord . I pray for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit anew on all believers! I pray that we will persevere in our faith in Jesus our Lord and not get weary.
