As America approaches its 250th anniversary, we are stepping into more than a historic milestone—we are stepping into a defining moment.

Two very different visions for our nation are emerging, and they could not be more opposed.
On one hand, there is a growing movement of recounting, reclaiming, and rededication. Across the country, believers are gathering to recount God’s faithfulness, reclaim the spiritual foundations of this nation, and rededicate America to the Lord. This vision recognizes a simple but profound truth: our freedoms did not emerge in a vacuum. They were forged in a worldview shaped by Scripture—one that acknowledged that rights come not from government, but from God.
From the earliest days of the Republic, prayer, dependence on divine providence, and biblical conviction shaped the course of history. As we approach 250 years, many sense that this is not just a time to celebrate—but to return.
Intercessors for America members across the nation have been partnering with elected officials at every level to create proclamations of rededication of cities, counties, state supreme courts, and legislative bodies. These grassroots efforts are resulting in hundreds of gatherings to publicly recount, reclaim, and rededicate these areas of our nation to God.
At the President’s direction, the White House is organizing a national rededication day on May 17th, held on our National Mall, called Rededicate 250.
But at the very same time, a starkly different movement is rising.
In cities across America, we are seeing the normalization of what previous generations would have immediately recognized as spiritual darkness. Public events openly celebrating Satanism are no longer fringe—they are organized, promoted, and in some cases even defended under the banner of “freedom.” What was once hidden is now being paraded.
On May 1-2, Baltimore will host the Satanic Temple’s Satanic Revival. Those words were chosen carefully by organizers. Not just their yearly meeting, but a “revival” to counter the moves of God that are happening across the nation. An effort to infuse spiritual darkness into our nation. Counterfeiting and twisting what the Holy Spirit is doing in America and what our Rededicate 250 event is designed to usher in.
Alongside this, there is an increasing push for ideologies fundamentally incompatible with the Constitution. Efforts to normalize and implement aspects of Sharia law in American communities represent not just cultural differences, but a direct contradiction to the freedoms enshrined in our founding documents—particularly freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and equal protection under the law. Sharia is a political system that masquerades as a religion. We are seeing explosive growth in Islam all across the country—Bible belt included—in our 250th year.
At the same time, radical protest movements continue to gain momentum—many fueled by anger, division, and a desire not to reform America, but to dismantle it entirely. These movements often reject the nation’s founding principles outright, viewing them not as something to be improved upon, but something to be erased.
As is customary, communists will be holding May Day protests around the country. This year, the No Kings protestors will be joining in those rallies. It’s not a stretch; many socialist and communist groups are part of the No Kings collective.
So here we stand—at 250 years—with a choice.
Will we be a nation that remembers who we are and whose we are?
Or will we continue down a path of cultural and spiritual fragmentation?
This is not merely a political divide. It is a spiritual one.
Scripture reminds us in Deuteronomy 30:19:
“I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing. Therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.”
That choice is before us again.
The celebration of America’s 250th anniversary will not just be about fireworks and ceremonies. It will reveal the direction of our national heart. Will it be marked by humility, repentance, and rededication to God? Or will it be overshadowed by rebellion, confusion, and competing ideologies that pull us further from the truth?
The answer will not be decided solely in Washington, D.C.
It will be decided in churches, in homes, in communities—and in the hearts of individuals who choose whether to stand, pray, and act.
I encourage you to actively participate in spiritually fighting for our nation. In this monumental year, the forces of darkness are doing all they can to steer America off our Judeo-Christian path. It’s up to us as believers in Christ to fight that spiritual battle.
And perhaps, at 250 years, that is the true invitation before us—not just to celebrate America’s past, but to contend for its future.

As someone has commented bring out the Shofars as a act of triumph to the Lord . The Muslims ring their bells for prayer. We Christians serve the Almighty God.
I am glad to read the comments about the two choices America faces this year. However, I believe there needs to be a fourth item added to the three mentioned. The three were: Recounting, Reclaiming and Rededicating. The fourth is Repentance. I know that was implied and even mentioned later on. But as that is the key one, it should be highly emphasized, greatly explained and emphatically repeated. I am praying daily for a spiritual tidal wave of repentance to sweep across America, akin to the revivals of repentance that occurred in previous times in which whole crowds were smitten on the ground on their faces, weeping and sobbing over their sins before God, and pleading desperately for His forgiveness. They confessed their sins specifically and loudly, and were so thoroughly transformed that they lived powerfully righteous and clean lives from then on. I lovingly challenge us all to pray for this. I plead with others to join me in beseeching the Almighty to descend upon us and cover this nation from coast to coast and border to border with a blanket of repentance, from Washington D.C. to the darkest workers of iniquity on the streets of our cities. Let us pray for a mighty move of God that leaves us devastated before Him. Let us pray for deep, deep repentance, not a superficial lip service followed quickly by pop praise music, clapping and saying Amen and Hallelujah. America’s sins go deep and wide, far and long, black and ugly. And so the repentance needs to go just as deep and wide, just as far and long, and just as white and clean. Much time will have to be devoted to true and lasting repentance. Much preaching and teaching, much humility and brokenness, much and specific confession. And the repentance MUST begin with the house of God – the evangelical churches of America which have all too long been focused on praise and worship, Gospel preaching and Bible teaching. Much emphasis has been put on the imminent return of Christ for His Church to the point that Christians have come to believe that the condition of the nation doesn’t really matter to us because Jesus is coming so soon and that will be followed by His wrath on the world – including America. There needs to be a reversal of this selfish attitude that cares little about America’s fate and only about our own deliverance from this evil world. Please say more about this matter. Thank you so much.
Amen we need to see more repentance according to 2 Chronicles 7:14, repent as individuals and as a nation. From White House to Church House, there needs to be deep repentance, for things allowed to happen in America, I feel churches in America need a new heart, its on life support and the only one to revive the heart is Jesus Christ, come with brokenness and sorrow, only then revival will happen.
Bring in the Shofars, during the re-dedication of our nation back to the God of Abraham, Issac, & Jacob. Let the sound of the Shofar’s blast through the atmosphere & declare this nation belongs to God our Lord & Savior.
That sound must be heard across this nation.

The one, true God of the Bible chose us as a people and nation to be a light to the other nations of the world. we answered that call long before our Declaration of Independence and Constitution were penned and acknowledged. Now, this year of 2026, our 250th year as a recognized country and nation, framed in Judeo-Christian values and principles — we have the opportunity to rededicate ourselves, our families, and our nation once more. Psalm 33:12 says it best, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance.”
May the American people answer this call to come to the Lord God almighty if we never have and for those of us who have strayed from our foundation of faith to turn back to the Lord God almighty.

Father shut down whatever is not you in this nation and around the world. May Jesus be magnified and exulted over our schools, towns and city’. Thank you for this great insight and revealing was is happening across this nation. We all need to be actively involved in intercessor prayer, daily, against these evils that have infiltrated our lives.
I agree we are at a tipping point. We must pray and use our voice to speak life in a darkening culture. Let’s press in to the Lord and move out into the culture with confidence and courage. When times get darkest God shines brightest through us. We must not fear but have courage!
Father God thank you for instructing me as an individual to meditate and pray on Psalms 103 during this time. Proclaiming and interceding with the body of Christ this scripture over our beloved country and its citizens. Lord as it is written in Psalm 103: 17 we stand upon this word , firmly believing that you’re faithfulness is to keep every gracious promise you’ve made passes from parents to children to grandchildren, and beyond.. verse 18 you are faithful to all those who follow your ways and keep your word. vs. 19 God’s heavenly thrown is eternal, secure, and strong and his sovereignty rules the entire universe. God told us these things were going to kappen. We do not have to like living in these time, but we should look to our Lord for strength and guidance. Isaiah 60 is a prophecy of the Nation of Israel’s restoration, and those who stand with her. Thankfully, we are standing shoulder to shoulder in the most Powerful Alliance in World History. Therefore, I boldly proclaim that we will “Rise and Shine, for the Glory of the Lord is upon us.” The gross darkness of the enemy will be decisively driven back and defeated by the Glorious Light of Almighty God. Mayday!
When I am in distress, I call to you, because you answer me. Psalm 86:7
The international distress signal “Mayday” is always repeated three times in a row—“Mayday-Mayday-Mayday”—so the situation will be clearly understood as a life-threatening emergency. According to the National Maritime Museum, Mockford coined Mayday from the French word m’aidez, which means, “help me.”
Throughout King David’s life, he faced life-threatening situations for which there seemed to be no way out. Yet, we read in Psalm 86 that during his darkest hours, David’s confidence was in the Lord. “Hear my prayer, Lord; listen to my cry for mercy. When I am in distress, I call to you, because you answer me” (vv. 6–7).
David also saw beyond the immediate danger by asking God to lead his steps: “Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name” (v. 11). When the crisis was past, he wanted to keep walking with God.
The most difficult situations we face can become doorways to a deeper relationship with our Lord. This begins when we call on Him to help us in our trouble, and also to lead us each day in His way.
Lord, even as we call to You for help today, please help us to keep walking with You when this crisis is over.
God hears our cries for help and leads us in His way.
Today’s Insights
In today’s psalm, David asks for God’s help in his time of trouble but looks beyond this difficult time. In verse 11, he asks God to teach him His ways, so he can rely on God’s faithfulness. David knew that learning God’s ways would change the way he responded to the situations of life. Spending time with God, learning who He is and what He has done, draws us close to Him and changes us.
My prayer
Jehovah Nissi, our banner, lead us into Your victory. Claiming tomorrow Your Day, and forever. I pray, what the enemy is planning, would be total confusion amongst those he is using and defeated. In Jehovah’s powerful name. Amen!
Jer 21:8 says that the Lord sets before us the choice between life and death.
Our awesome God, Creator and Sovereign of the Universe, hears our prayers and is The Power that hears our confessions of repentance, and cries for His Will to be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. May the body of Christ Jesus rise up in confident prayer and proclamation that America will choose God’s ways and forsake every evil way. May those who forcefully and willingly submit to satan be put to shame and rebuked in every part of the world. Let God arise and the enemy be scattered, in every state and community in America. May the hand of God cover President Trump and every God fearing official in every state. We cry out to the only Sovereign God for divine leading, protection, and victory over the devil and all his evil assignments. He is judged already and Christ Jesus has defeated him and all his demonic forces. Let all those who look to the demonic for power be overwhelmed by the goodness of God and reject the lies of satan. Lord, please destroy all assignments of hell against the Church, the Word of God, the Bible, and expose and destroy all plots and plans from terrorists invaders (near and far).

“WHEN I shut up the Heavens so that there is NO RAIN, or command LOCUSTS to devour the land or SEND a PLAGUE among My People, IF My People “who are called by My Name” (Exodus 20:7), will humble themselves and pray and seek My Face (Ps. 24) and TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS, THEN…then I will hear from Heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2 Chron. 7:13-14). We MUST REPENT as a nation-but most especially for a massive amount of “Christians” compromising the Gospel and the Image of Christ due to wanting “political proximity with people who openly MOCK CHRIST and DO NOT PROTECT CHILDREN. The British ambassador spoke the truth when he said it found it STRANGE that NO ONE IN AMERICA has been convicted or removed from office due to the pdf scandal–yet in Europe MANY have had to step down! This says America “embraces injustice” to the eyes of the world–we must be GRIEVED about this! We have become a laughing stock, much to our shame. Predators names are STILL redacted, yet the names of victims and survivors are exposed. Until we protect innocent children and address trafficking, Christ keeps reminding me of Malachi 4:6, “TURN the hearts of the parents back to the children (CHOOSE CHILDREN and NOT politicians, not political parties), and the hearts of the children BACK to the parents; or else I will come and STRIKE THER LAND with TOTAL DESTRUCTION.” YHWH is an INTERGENERATIONAL GOD-The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob–we HAVE to CARE ABOUT OUR INNOCENT CHILDREN. Christianity in America CANNOT be silent about this. Germany was SILENT about the HOLOCAUST–YHWH decimated that country. (Gen. 12:3, Numbers 24:9, Gen. 15) God held Israel accountable for what they did to their children. He does not show favoritism. He NEVER CHANGES (Mal. 3:6) He is holding us accountable–and thus we see that state of our nation. We need to get back to just being “BIBLICAL CHRISTIANS–not focusing on all our various denominations–the Body of Christ was NEVER MEANT to be SO DIVIDED. We need to drop the PLUMBLINE of HIS WORD in our hearts & REPENT. How we treat the HOLINESS of the NAME of CHRIST, the GLORY OF HIS IMMUTABLE WORD, the PROFOUND POWER of the BLOOD of THE NEW COVENANT which SPEAKS a BETTER WORD (Heb. 12:24), the elderly, the poor, the strangers in our midst and our innocent children matters to YHWH OUR GOD. We cannot ask for blessings or “revivals” until we REPENT and WASH OURSELVES in the BLOOD of the LAMB. (Rev. 7:14) The hour is so late. The distractions are DELIBERATE. Humbling ourselves, deep repentance and COMING TOGETHER as the BODY to BEG FOR MERCY is the only way forward (Ezk. 33). If American Christians (2 Chron. 7:13-14) refuse to bow their will and REPENT…then at least share “Christ in you, the HOPE of GLORY” with those needing TRUTH, MERCY, GRACE and SALVATION.(Colossians 1:27) The SHOFAR is SOUNDING! The CLOCK is TICKING! The HOUR is LATE.

This continuing act of rebellion against God is nothing new, but is proceeding towards it’s final culmination in the end of this age. So longas our focus remains on all the evil acts we are seeing carried out instead of the victorious acts of God we lose this spiritual battle. The battle is not ours to win, but ours to celebrate that God has already given us the victory- it’s time to quit crying about how bad everything is and take up our Spiritual armor, wear it boldly and proclaim God’s goodness and His unfailing love while condemning the sin. God’s desire is for ALL MEN (INCLUDING ALL WOMEN) to be saved, to know His true love and to serve Him. He hates lying, pride, and all acts of sin and rebellion but He does c not hate the sinner
As the Word of God proclaims:
“ God presides in the divine assembly;
He renders judgment among the gods:

and show partiality to the wicked?

uphold the rights of the afflicted and oppressed.

We must stand firm on this claim from God our Father.
Our church is responsible for the National Day of Prayer service in our community on May 7. We will be serving a meal in the evening and having extended time of prayer as we gather together.
Is there an attractive announcement I could print (about 4×6 or 5×7) that would have information (what will be happening on the National Mall and stating the purpose and urgency) about the National Rededication of America on May 17? I could put the cards on each table for people to take home as reminders.
Lord Jesus, You say You will build Your Church and the gates of Hades shall not overpower it. We thank you for the keys of the kingdom of God: we utterly dismantle and cancel every satanic covenant made within the gates of Hades that seeks to manifest during the month of May 2026. These schemes are utterly fractured and will not be able to amount to any noticeable effort. We thank You that You are the One who builds Your Church, causing Your Church to rise up and to stand in these last days to further the kingdom of God and to give You glory. Lord Jesus, bless our nation and strengthen all aspects that will fulfill the redemptive purpose for which You created the United States of America. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Nations that support Israel and his people are blessed. America, this is the command of the Holy One of Israel. Take heed to it ! The message is unwittingly, to the people who claim to be his church. Rise up and be counted!
Indeed, the choice of the life of the kingdom of heaven or the death of rebellion against God is upon us, individually, in families, in communities and cities, in states, and for America.
Stay firm, intercessors! Ask for more of the Lord Jesus! Love the sisterhood and brotherhood of God’s people.
It is a time of decision and will become a time of reaping consequences, both good or bad.

Father, your word depicts the Family as the most basic form of any government. And knowing this we stand shoulder to shoulder in full battle array to defend what is YOURS. Any and all spiritual darkness is defeated by the power of our Jesus’s blood. Our children’s angels are before your throne interceding as we pray.. We join them as we also worship You and shout HOSANNA!!!! We use our Saviors words in the midst of tumult and proclaim “ PEACE BE STILL “

I thank the Lord this morning for the leadership of the Kubals for this prayer ministry, their hard work in getting truth to the people of America and those of other nations who are praying as well with us, and for their inspiration in motivating us to not only pray but to act on our prayers as Holy Spirit leads each one of us. Lord, I pray that more church leadership will be involved in this ministry, because we have much more to pray about than those who may be sick in our local congregations. I pray that more pastors in communities across our nation would not only share the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ but also apply prophecy in the Bible to today’s news, as that is what is on the minds and hearts of Your people today. To stay silent from the pulpits does not help us. Lord, we thank You for giving us a period of grace to decide if Your children will be obedient to Your call to stand up and exercise the gifts You have given by the power of Holy Spirit in us to turn our nation back to You. We love You and thank You for giving us another chance to be obedient and repent individually and collectively for this nation. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen and amen.

Heavenly Father… we know that life on earth is not an easy one, but with You it is made much easier by Your grace. We pray that those who can not see Your precious face, will open their eyes as well as their hearts and experience a love like no other. Lord, we ask that the citizens of this great nation who don’t know You see that all the fruits that we enjoy here come not from man, but from You… a loving and generous God who wants nothing but the absolute best for them. We ask that people turn away from any and all evil and hatred, which only breeds fear and turmoil within, and look to You, the God of joy and true inner peace. It’s all within a stone’s throw, if only they repent and believe on You. Our country cries out to You, sweet Lord! Hear those cries. Help us, Lord. We desperately need our sweet Savior. Let us humble ourselves before You as a nation and come together under Your loving guidance.
