As we get closer to America’s Rededication to the Lord. IFA intercessors are hard at work with America’s Spiritual Heritage Project (ASHP). New Jersey had a major victory a month after their rededication. I pray that this encourages every intercessor to know that ASHP is not a gimmick but a tool for taking back our states, cities, counties, or governmental entities. Through prayers and proclamation, we are inviting the Presence of God to come and have His way in the nation.

On Monday, March 23, 2026, IFA New Jersey State Leader, Donna Hart, and a team of faithful intercessors gathered at their State House in Trenton, New Jersey. Inside the State House, they signed the ASHP national proclamation and a New Jersey proclamation. Although none of their representatives joined this rededication, the intercessors were stirred in their hearts. “We all felt that it was such a sacred moment. Wow, we have done something very important. We have honored the Lord,” said Donna. The intercessors were excited. One intercessor, who attends church with Donna, said, “We really moved mountains, didn’t we? She replied, we did, what a powerful moment.” 

One month later, on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, New Jersey had a major win for life in a unanimous Supreme Court 9-0 ruling. First Choice Women’s Resource Centers, Inc. vs Davenport, a network of New Jersey faith-based Pro-Life pregnancy centers, can challenge a state Attorney General’s subpoena for donor records in federal court. 

Justice Neil Gorsuch authored the decision, which reverses rulings by both the federal district and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. It does not decide whether the subpoena is unconstitutional but gives First Choice the right to argue its case before a federal judge. The previous rulings denied that to the Women’s pregnancy centers.

The challenge began under the outgoing Murphy Administration in 2022 when then Attorney General Matthew Platkin established a “reproductive rights task force,” which targeted pro-life centers. His office issued a consumer alert accusing pregnancy centers of seeking to prevent people from accessing “reproductive health care” (abortion) by providing ‘false or misleading’ abortion information. 

 The next year, 2023, the Murphy administration, through the Attorney General, issued a subpoena demanding the production of 28 categories of documents, including names, phone numbers, addresses, and places of employment of virtually all of their donors.

Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch wrote, “Over and over again, we have held those demands burden the exercise of First Amendment rights. Disputing none of these precedents but seeking ways around them, the Attorney General has offered a variety of arguments. Some are old, some are new, but none succeed.”

Alliance Defending Freedom Attorney Erin Hawley called it “a resounding victory” and said that the “demands of a hostile state official” targeting of a ministry that provides parenting classes, free ultrasounds, baby clothes, and more for the communities served was simply because of their pro-life views, which is blatantly unconstitutional.

Intercessors, we can praise God for this win, which has cleared the way for Pregnancy Resource Centers to exercise their constitutional rights. But the battle isn’t over just yet. Here are the ways Donna asked us to pray for New Jersey. 

• Pray that, as this decision has been appealed by the state, the final outcome will firmly establish First Amendment rights for pro-life organizations and individuals who have been targeted for their stance on life.

In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you (Isaiah 54:14). 

• Pray that our judicial system will provide a strong rebuke to those in government offices who are compromised by the abortion lobby to deny freedom to those who are pro-life.

And said to the judges, “Take heed to what you are doing, for you do not judge for man but for the Lord, who is with you in the judgment. Now therefore, let the fear of the Lord be upon you; take care and do it, for there is no iniquity with the Lord our God, no partiality, nor taking of bribes (2 Chronicles 19:6-7). 

• Pray for restitution in this case to First Choice Women’s Centers. 

Instead of shame and dishonor, you will enjoy a double share of honor. You will possess a double portion of prosperity in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours (Isaiah 61:7 NLT).
