Is the FBI Becoming America’s KGB?
Tina Peters was sleeping when combat-outfitted FBI agents pounded on her door at 6 a.m. on November 16. In an interview with CBS Denver reporter Rick Sallinger, Peters said, “I’m a 60-year-old woman living by myself. I was terrified.” The Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team carried a battering ram, though they did not use it, as they would three and a half hours later on the door of Sherronna Bishop.
In our interview, Bishop said Peters is the first elected official in America who has “evidence of the wiping of the elections in Mesa County by Dominion.” Peters took a backup of election logs before and after a systems update was performed. She found that 29,000 election logs were deleted during the “update.” According to Bishop, that finding is why Peters “has been under massive scrutiny, and the secretary of state (Jena Griswold) has tried to silence her, pressing charges against her.”
Peters believes it was within the scope of her job to supervise those files, saying, “I’ve done nothing wrong.” Her findings point to an election integrity issue, much maligned by mainstream media. Of even greater concern is the possibility the FBI is being deployed against perceived enemies of the current administration and its policies.
Is the FBI becoming America’s KGB?
Many of us grew up chilled by stories of the KGB (an acronym for the Russian words for Committee for State Security) in the former Soviet Union. The KGB was known for terrorizing citizens of the Soviet Union who stepped out of line. Recently the FBI appears to be targeting U.S. citizens critical of the administration through raids of Roger Stone, Project Veritas reporters, and now Peters, Bishop, and two other supporters of Peters. The list of the FBI’s partisan plays is getting longer and includes intimidating January 6 rally attendees. Bishop said, “People within the FBI feel that they’re being weaponized. They feel that they’re being used to carry out what the Biden regime wants to do and what Merrick Garland wants to do.”
Bishop was referring to a panel of four retired FBI agents interviewed by Brannon Howse: Four Distinguished And Retired FBI Agents Warn About the Marxist Revolution in America and Within The DOJ And FBI. Howse was the producer of the documentary Siege: The Clear and Present Dangers Pushing America to the Brink of a Marxist-Islamic Revolution, Civil War, World War III and Globalism.
Howse opened the interview with the retired FBI agents, giving a brief introduction to how Marxists infiltrated America for nearly eight decades. Early advocates included members of the Frankfurt School of Critical Theory and John Dewey who helped start the American Civil Liberties Union.
According to Howse, in the 1930s “they couldn’t call it outright Marxism… so they said, ‘We’ll go after the values, the existing morality of the culture.’” He was quoting Herbert Marcuse, who coined the phrase, “Make love, not war,” and called for “a cultural revolution … directed against the entire cultural establishment, including the morality of that existing society.” Howse said, “He helped to… train the radicals of the ‘60s.” Howse continued,
“They started to indoctrinate education and media…. Their goal was to turn the values of the culture so that eventually… the American people themselves would have a cognitive dissonance between the… anti-American values that they now held… and their own country, their own Constitution, their own foundation, so that the people themselves would call for, be a part of and carry out a subversive revolution and destruction of the foundation of the nation, our constitutional republic…. And that’s what they’ve done.”
Terry Turchie, former Deputy Director of the Counter Terrorism Division of the FBI, one of Howse’s panelists, wrote The Democratic Party’s Push Toward a Communist America. “Critical Race Theory and the whole Woke strategy is nothing more than communism 2021,” Turchie said.
He traced the history of the Weathermen, who took their name from Bob Dylan’s “Subterranean Homesick Blues”: “You don’t need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows.” The group, later called the Weather Underground, took up the Marxist agenda in the ‘60s and ‘70s, declaring war on the United States in March 1970 and claiming responsibility for 2,500 bombings of military and government installations. Turchie said, “The whole idea was to overthrow the government.” The group’s manifesto, Prairie Fire, uses the word “revolution” 294 times.
Cecil Moses, another panelist, sat in on a Cleveland wiretap in the ‘60s for eight months, monitoring Gus Hall, head of the Communist Party USA. Moses said, “You could hear what they were planning, and how they wanted to infiltrate all of our institutions.”
When asked about his famous cases, panelist David Baldovin said his most important one has come after retirement: Revealing the communist influences in the FBI. He read from the U.S. Congressional record from January 1963, which listed 45 current communist goals, taken from the book The Naked Communist, written in 1958 by former FBI agent and constitutional scholar Cleon Skousen. The 35th goal is, “Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.” Baldovin said, “Apparently they have made that leap.”
Turchi said of the ways the FBI has been weaponized against conservatives, “This is now a pattern, and when things become a pattern, and it just happens to be the largest and most powerful investigative agency in the world then you should start asking questions.”
Control the Schools
Goal number 17 from The Naked Communist is to “Get control of the schools. Use them as a transmission belt for socialism and current communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers associations. Put the party line in textbooks.”
It looks like this goal is well underway, and the Marxist infiltrators are taking action to protect the ground they’ve taken. Howse received a military document a year ago that said, “If you are openly complaining about your perceived threats to your liberties or freedoms you are a potential violent extremist.” Howse added:
We know, going back to the Obama administration that the Department of Homeland Security was saying potential domestic terrorists were those that were pro-life, interested in Bible prophecy… veterans, concerned about the border…. The only reason this is happening is because we have allowed the ideology of the Weather Underground, the long march through the institutions to penetrate, and institutions that once fought the communists are now run by the communists.
Targeting conservatives is backfiring. The Washington Examiner reported, “The National School Boards Association is looking at a shortfall of at least $1.1 million. It turns out that calling parents terrorists for speaking out about their children’s education was a bad choice.” Seventeen state board associations cut ties with the NSBA after it urged the Department of Justice to investigate parents using the Patriot Act.
Rather than disengage, Bishop is trying to stop the communist propaganda, and she believes that’s why, of the four raids on November 16, the FBI used the greatest force against her household. She said:
You don’t come in with brute force on a housewife….’ And because I’m so transparent, because I work with elected officials, because I’ll talk with anyone, present any information, they never had to come at me like this…. It’s not lost on me in that moment that we have people sitting under the White House who have never been charged. They’re sitting there waiting in a jail and they’ve never been criminally charged. The government right now has the right to take you and hold you if they think you’ve committed a crime under the Patriot Act.… They are weaponizing these agencies. The FBI is not supposed to be coming to a suburban housewife’s home to act with brute force. No. That’s reserved for criminals, human traffickers, drug dealers, not housewives.
Brian Shepard, the fourth panelist on Howse’s show, worked the case that became a film, The Informant, starring Matt Damon. Shepard confirmed Bishop’s observation:
I was on the SWAT Team for several years…. We never… conducted an arrest of someone who was not a violent offender…. When I heard about what happened with Roger Stone…. [It] just outraged me so much.… What’s happened to this great organization that we worked with? … It had to have been approved by senior management…. The tactics that were used were outrageous, and if I had been on the SWAT team, and I was told that this was what we were going to do, I’d say, ‘Not me. I’m not doing that.’
Let’s pray for current agents to have that resolve!
