God Stories: Georgia’s Rededication, A Liberty Altar
Georgia, like many other states in America, has seen the battle between darkness and light play out within its borders. More recently, IFA Georgia has witnessed answered prayers, such as the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (SB36), which was signed into law after a decade. As well as other bills on illegal gambling and public records related to primary elections and fraud, it is proof that faithful and focused intercession for your state makes all the difference.
Join others crying out to the Lord day and night.
On Thursday, April 23, 2026, IFA Georgia State Leader Elizabeth Ojutiku and Co-State Leader Pam Wood joined with other intercessors in their state to recount, reclaim, and rededicate their state back to the Lord. It was a powerful time of intercession that will no doubt produce a harvest of righteousness.
Hope for The Future
“Georgia has two Liberty Bell replicas. We came to Marietta, in Cobb County, and specifically chose this spot where the second bell is located. It was gifted to Marietta during a bicentennial celebration in 1976. It was built by the original owners who built the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia. We chose the Liberty Bell because our liberty is very much under attack right now.

We decided to look at all the prayers linked to Cobb County. Pam chose the story connected with our Spiritual Heritage and printed out the documents from IFA. She had stones and wrote scripture on each one, which came from the prayers and documents. These would be our memorial stones, patterned after the Book of Joshua,” Elizabeth said.
“We took those with us, and when we got there, there were already other intercessors gathered to pray. Intercessors who have been in this state long before I got here. They understand the terrain in the state and were breaking the ground before we got there. The gathering had about thirty intercessors. It was a beautiful picture of the body coming together. They understood what we wanted to do. So, we started with prayer, with rededication and reclaiming. At the very end, when we released the proclamations, we also gave stones to some of the intercessors to place under the Liberty Bell. We read the scriptures on each stone aloud. We finished with prayer and sang, ‘Revive Us Again,’ Elizabeth said.

“Afterward, we all fellowshipped together, thanked the Lord for bringing us together for the rededication, and recognized that in unity revival is poured out. We exchanged information, some I already knew, others were new, and they were excited to connect with IFA. They wanted to continue praying for other things on their hearts for their counties and the nation. We have a major fire issue, and we prayed about that. We prayed for no hindrances on the 250th celebration.
Elizabeth said, “If those stones are still there on the 4th of July, America’s 250th year, we pray that whoever picks up stones sees the scripture, and the Holy Spirit will convict them to look up the scriptures in the Bible. If they are Christians and walked away, it would encourage them to return.”
This is not the first rededication. Before this, IFA Georgia released proclamations and rededicated Fulton County to the Lord, outside on the legislative steps. She also did a virtual rededication of Macintosh County, which is hours away near the coast. Elizabeth met online with other intercessors and, using Google Earth, they zoomed in on specific areas to rededicate them. Making virtual proclamations, released by faith, Elizabeth felt Macintosh needed to be rededicated. Her studies led her to discover that Macintosh was one of the first places in Georgia where Islam was introduced.

“There are plenty of places in Georgia, we’re looking into Savannah. There is a lot of spiritual history. It’s where the Wesley brothers and George Whitfield were very active. I’m looking to connect with someone in that area. We are also eyeing the local swing counties, Fulton and Cobb, Winnette. Take charge. Our other Georgia Co-State Leader, Peggy Pulliam, is planning a rededication in Hancock County, where she lives.”
Although elected officials were not in session at this point, she plans to separate the proclamation and email it to certain elected officials in Cobb County to continue in Georgia and invite legislators to participate. Elizabeth will be participating in the National Day of Prayer at the Capitol, in the Senate Chambers.
Recount, Reclaim, Rededicate, Revival
“By word of mouth and distributing materials, people are asking if they can do rededications in their counties and areas, even church groups are asking. I said yes, that’s the whole idea. We are multiplying the rededications until they encompass every county in our state. Though I would like to see it happen before the nation’s 250th rededication, it can continue afterward.
This is of critical importance. We are very much aware that the opposite side is speaking against the very foundations upon which this nation was built, the freedom of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Other voices are saying it is not true, and they want to superimpose their own false gospel that perverts the original intention that God had for our state and nation. That is why these proclamations are so important.
“I believe the church has awoken; people are seeing the need for governmental intercession. What is important to me about ASHP making proclamations is that anyone can do it. I tell people you can do it too. It invites everyone to find their place and be part of history. There’s a joy that comes when you know that you’re doing what God is telling you to do.
When we look back at the revivals of old, we see that people followed old patterns, and that’s good, but God has different ways of bringing revival. It won’t always look the same. ASHP is involving the whole church, not just individuals. In the past, God’s moves highlighted individuals like Charles Wesley, William Seymour, and George Whitfield. Now God is calling the body of Christ to participate. We are all called to be revivalists.
In the past, when those revivalists passed away, revival died along with them. But if we continue, and we are all revivalists continually and collectively. Revival won’t die because it will ignite the fire from one generation to the next. America needs a generational revival, and our prayer is that ASHP will start one.
This is why we chose memorial stones. The call in Joshua 4 was to remember the Lord and teach the next generation, so His name would never be forgotten. We can see that the enemy is trying to erase God from our nation’s founding. We all have to get involved; the days of sitting in the church in pews are over. We all have gifts; some won’t exercise them in their lifetime, and it needs to stop. It’s time to get moving,” Elizabeth said.
On the tenth day of the first month, the people went up from the Jordan and camped at Gilgal on the eastern border of Jericho. And there at Gilgal, Joshua set up the twelve stones they had taken from the Jordan. Then Joshua said to the Israelites, “In the future, when your children ask their fathers, ‘What is the meaning of these stones?’ you are to tell them, ‘Israel crossed the Jordan on dry ground.’ For the LORD your God dried up the waters of the Jordan before you until you had crossed over, just as He did to the Red Sea, which He dried up before us until we had crossed over. He did this so that all the peoples of the earth may know that the hand of the LORD is mighty, and so that you may always fear the LORD your God (Joshua 4:19-24).
Will you step out in faith for your city or state, to see America turn back to the Lord?
Father, we come into Your Presence, and we exalt the name of Jesus over Georgia and all the nation, and we are contending for the King of Glory to come in over our cities, and all throughout America. As we recount, reclaim, and rededicate our cities and entities back to You, will You revive us again? Cause your face to shine upon this nation once more.
Lord, we agree that we need revival, resurrection, and reformation. We need You to see that happen, but You’re waiting on us to do our part through fasting, interceding, coming together in unity, and putting boots on the ground. We pray for an outpouring of Your Spirit that will impact all generations. Let every ASHP sight become an altar where we will remember Your mighty works and places where Your name will be honored throughout the land for generations to come, in Jesus ‘ name, amen.
