Analysis. Are human beings God’s handiwork, or man’s playground? President Biden shared his perspective in a disturbing executive order released recently.
“For biotechnology and biomanufacturing to help us achieve our societal goals, the United States needs to invest in foundational scientific capabilities,” the order reads. “We need to develop genetic engineering technologies and techniques to be able to write circuitry for cells and predictably program biology the same way in which we write software and program computers; unlock the power of biological data, including through computing tools and artificial intelligence; and advance the science of scale-up production while reducing the obstacles for commercialization so that innovative technologies and products can reach markets faster.”

Of all the ideas relayed in the Sept. 12, 2022, executive order, titled Advancing Biotechnology and Biomanufacturing for a Sustainable, Safe, and Secure American Bioeconomy, the section quoted above is perhaps the most astounding and concerning for Americans who consider human genetics to be God’s handiwork, rather than man’s playground. The notion that the language of life — human DNA — can be redesigned and programmed like a computer system is disturbing to those of us who know Jesus is the author and creator of all life.
A Transhumanist and Globalist Wish List
This executive order will embolden the use of such technologies as CRISPR gene editing and AlphaFold, both of which allow DNA and protein structures to be mapped and manipulated in record time. Bioengineered animal cells for food; genetically modified seeds; sustainable, “climate-friendly” fertilizers; and mRNA vaccines are just a few of the targets.
While some may read through the scientific jargon scattered throughout the executive order without raising an eyebrow, those who are familiar with the goals of transhumanism will do a double take as they realize that artificial intelligence will be used to create “innovative solutions in health, climate change, energy, food security, agriculture, supply chain resilience and national and economic security.” Specifically, the order calls for programs that will include “genomic and multiomic information,” which means that priority will be given to companies that can analyze, map, and sequence genomes using artificial intelligence.
A radio program called Understanding the Times recently discussed the implications of this order, which fast tracks the path to transhumanism. Among program host Jan Markell’s guests on that broadcast was pastor and transhumanism expert Billy Crone, who explained how the executive order aligns with the plans of globalists such as Klaus Schwab (chairman of the World Economic Forum), as well as tech magnates like Elon Musk.
Pastor Crone stresses that the World Economic Forum’s Great Reset isn’t just about resetting the economy — it’s also about resetting humans. Ultimately, it’s a transhumanist agenda. Transhumanists believe they can transcend human limitations through science, technology, and artificial intelligence. Their ultimate goal is to defeat death and live forever through the use of genetic manipulation (rewriting DNA), cyborg technology, and brain and body implants, and by merging with the digital realm (the Internet of Bodies).
Achieving the Three ‘Supers’
Crone asserts that transhumanists are very interested in what he calls the “three supers,” which are super longevity, super health, and super intelligence. Super longevity would enable people to live forever, whereas super health would eliminate all diseases and disorders. Super intelligence could allow human IQs to reach as high as 1,000. While this may sound like an amazing prospect, Crone points out: “Do you think that you and I, the average Joe, will be given super longevity and super health and intelligence? No, it’s for these global elites — and this is the man-made, false, dare I say, Satanic utopia that these guys are bringing to the planet. It’s a rehash of the lie of Satan that he used on Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden.”
But the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil” (Genesis 3:4–5).
This is the lie of transhumanism, which claims that when you eat of the tree of technology, you don’t need God. Instead, you can live forever connected to the internet.
Internet of Things
Pastor Crone warns that Biden’s Executive Order unleashes the technologies of transhumanism and what the World Economic Forum calls the Fourth Industrial Revolution. He explains that the plan can be viewed like two sides of a coin. The first side is called the Internet of Things, and this will pave the way for microchipping everything on the planet, even people. This is how authorities will know where you go, what you’re doing, who you’re talking to, what you’re talking about, or what you’re buying and selling. All of this will be tied into smart cities or smart utopias that are nothing more than a giant Big Brother global system that micromanages everyone. Who will monitor all of this? This is where artificial intelligence will step in, utilizing microchips (implants), satellites and computers to do all the grunt work.
Internet of Bodies
The other side of the coin is the Internet of Bodies. If you’ve been microchipped, you can be connected to the internet. From here, genetic modifications and upgrades can occur inside the body. Additionally, illnesses can be detected before symptoms appear. Artificial intelligence programs can be used to access your thoughts and memories, or perhaps information can be inserted or deleted. This could lead to humans becoming part of a digital feudal system, where they are slaves to technology.
The executive order states that “circuitry needs to be written for cells” and that “biology needs to be programmed like computer software through the use of artificial intelligence.” Essentially, this puts all the possibilities mentioned above on the table. It launches the full force of the government behind technologies that will unlock the cells and DNA structure of all living things. From there, they can be manipulated and edited. The order specifically mentions “key research and development areas” which include the “designing, building, testing and modeling of entire living cells, cell components, or cellular systems.” Artificial intelligence programs that sequence genomes and other data would make this possible.
Immortal Bodies
Merging humans with artificial intelligence isn’t a conspiracy theory. In fact, Jared Kushner (former President Donald Trump’s son-in-law) recently appeared on a livestream interview in which he said: “I think that there’s a good probability that my generation is, hopefully, with the advances in science, either the first generation to live forever or the last generation that’s going to die.” Kushner added that “we need to keep ourselves in pretty good shape,” so we can be ready for this transition.
But Kushner isn’t the only celebrity who has commented on the possibility of immortality. SpaceX founder and Neuralink investor Elon Musk believes brain implants and mRNA technology can change the future. In one interview he declares: “I think there is going to be a lot of breakthroughs on the medical front, particularly around synthetic mRNA … You can basically do anything with synthetic RNA, DNA. It’s like a computer program — with effort that’s not too crazy you could probably stop aging — reverse it if you want. You can turn someone into a butterfly, with the right DNA sequence. I mean, caterpillars do it.”
Nonetheless, Musk realizes the dangers of using artificial intelligence and states: “If I were to guess at what our biggest existential threat is, it’s probably that, so we need to be very careful with artificial intelligence. I’m increasingly inclined to think that there should be some regulatory oversight, maybe at the national and international level, just to make sure that we don’t do something very foolish.” Furthermore, he cautions that “with artificial intelligence, we are summoning the demon. You know all those stories where there’s the guy with the pentagram and the holy water — he’s sure he can control the demon. It doesn’t work out.”
Musk suggests that the only way to keep humans from being overtaken by artificial intelligence is to merge with it. His company Neuralink is attempting to link brains with computers. On the Joe Rogan Experience, he suggested: “The merge scenario with AI is the one that seems like probably the best. If you can’t beat it, join it.”
More AI?
Even though tech experts like Musk insist on regulatory oversight at the national level, the executive order clearly says production using artificial intelligence needs to be scaled up, and obstacles for commercialization must be reduced so technologies and products can reach the markets faster.
Surrendering Human Rights for Transhumanism
The executive order will give drug companies a big advantage, because it will allow them to push genetic therapies and experimental products into the market much more quickly. An article from WND says the order should give Americans chills because it’s a “transhumanist nightmare.” Former Pfizer employee and whistleblower Karen Kingston says: “Biden’s September 12, 2022, executive order declares that Americans must surrender all human rights that stand in the way of transhumanism. Clinical safety standards and informed consent will be eradicated, as they stand in the way of universally unleashing gene editing technologies needed to merge humans with AI.”
Enter Vaccines
In June 2022, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration implemented a framework that will allow reformulated COVID boosters to be delivered to the public without additional testing. In September 2022, the FDA also used messaging to promote their boosters which said: “Don’t be shocked! You can now recharge your immunity with an updated COVID19 booster” (see tweet here). A graphic accompanies the message, which shows several people lined up with charged batteries above their head. A large syringe is visible, looming above them. Another tweet says, “It’s time to install that update!”
In the past, gene therapies required more rigorous testing, but as of 2021 there are at least 20 gene therapies on the market. Currently, there are mRNA flu shots in the works, and Moderna is developing as many as 15 vaccines that will target such diseases as Ebola, malaria, Middle East Respiratory Syndrome and dengue to name a few.
Transhumanism expert Joe Allen says this is all a slippery slope, because the human body is being treated like a machine where the immune system is an operating system with vaccines installed as updates. Artificial intelligence is used to predict how the human body will respond to these “updates” as it rapidly sequences the genes and codes needed to create vaccines. Unfortunately, it cannot effectively predict how a real, flesh-and-blood body will behave when given these fast-tracked treatments.
Tal Zaks, a former chief medical officer of Moderna, explained to his TEDx audience: “We’ve been living this phenomenal digital and scientific revolution. And I’m here today to tell you that we’re actually hacking the software of life.”
Stephen Hoge, president of Moderna, has stated, “It starts with the question of life. … And in fact, all life that we know flows through messenger RNA. … In our language, mRNA is the software of life.”
The Role of Intercession
It is crucial that we, as Christians, intercede at this unprecedented time in history. We cannot bury our heads in the sand, hoping this will all go away. Artificial intelligence is all around us, and, make no mistake, the goal is to make it part of our bodies. But we do not have to give in to this agenda. We are, after all, made in the image of God, and we must cling tightly to this magnificent truth, shouting it from the rooftops.
The idea that we can “rewrite the circuitry of our cells” is inspired by a great delusion which says that man can evolve to a new level without God. The belief is that, through updates and hacks, one can bypass death altogether. In the process, people become dehumanized, because their bodies are treated like a cold, man-made software system.
So, how do we respond to and pray about this executive order and its possible ramifications? We have to start by saying NO to these technologies that promise to “update” our bodies and our lives. Jesus can give us everything we need to stay firm in our convictions. We must pray for the courage and resolve to resist.
In the future, more technologies will be unleashed that may be deemed “necessary” to participate in life — just think about how hard it is to function without a smart phone or computer. What if in the future you are required to have implants, injections, or wearable devices that monitor your every move? Decide NOW how you will stand against the grain.
Lord Jesus, our bodies are fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image. We do not want new circuitry for our cells, brains, or bodies. Please protect us from these intrusive technologies, and give us the grit we need to just say no.

Just thinking out loud here- if the rapture is about to occur any day now, why should we worry about all this? Or are people starting to hedge their bets that we’ll go through at least part of the Great Tribulation if not all of it? Pre-trib is a fairly recent teaching.
We are called to witness of Jesus coming, and His return. Hebrews 10:25 says we are not to forsake assembling, but to encourage one another as we see the day approaching. The only requirement is to believe in Jesus and all He has done for us in His death and resurrection. While reading through these comments/prayers the thot came to me; “this nation is more than aware of how mentally challenged our current ‘president’ is with his many blunders he has and continues to pull off. I have to wonder just how much of this is planned, really, I mean after reading this article wouldn’t our president present the perfect example for research-testing on him and say…coming forth as a (dubious} perfect example of ‘healing’ (sic) ??? I had no idea Biden did this until just now, when I read this article. I am absolutely stunned, and shocked that this is allowed to take place with absolutely no input from the general citizenry. I have been praying daily for this evil to be stopped and for it to be driven back into the darkness from which it came, but in the end, it will be God’s will that shall be done. Isn’t any kind of commercial innovation supposed to be developed by the marketplace, NOT the government? Where in the constitution does it allow the government to get involved in these types of activities? Anything not specifically states in the Constitution is reserved for the States, or the people. At least that is what it says! But of course who cares what the Constitution says?
This reminds me of the tower of Babel incident in Genesis chapter 11 and how God intervened. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if God will intervene again only this time to end all of humanity’s agenda that strives to cross the line in an effort to outwit Him. I think that Biden’s Executive Order is consistent with the fact that we are living in the End Times. Any President that rules by executive order is a dictator. That was spoken by Biden on campaign trail….in 2020.
An executive order is not law. The states can MAKE laws disallowing this order to be complied with in their states. Lord, open the eyes of our congress/state reps and open the mouths of the Christians to tell them to make these laws against this order.

I agree brother, Joe. We must occupy until Jesus comes. That includes through prayer and spiritual warfare. It’s on us to pray His will be done on earth as it is in heaven, to ask Him for justice for the wicked and to avenge us. I have sensed the evil of the covid vaccine from the beginning. The government allowed people to die from their treatment plan for covid with no treatment allowed that would actually prevent people from needing hospitalized. God has opened my spiritual eyes to see what is going on below the surface. It is certainly chilling and yet God is mighty in battle and for us. Jesus warned that these things must happen. I am wondering how vulnerable our babies are with required vaccinations. Is there any research regarding this? I think if I were a mother of little babies, I would choose only specific old (mumps, measles, small pox. etc. vaccinations) and nothing new. But, have those old vaccinations been modified? I’m out of this loop being a great grandmother now.
