I Prayed have prayed
Lord, we pray for guidance and wisdom for our leaders. We know from Your Word that You love the whole world, and that includes the Palestinians. We pray that you would comfort and help those in Gaza who are innocent, but we also pray that You would protect us as our government seeks to bring people from a war zone into America.

As the war in Gaza continues, President Biden is hoping to bring some of its residents to America as refugees. While many of the Palestinians are innocent victims in this war, we also know that many of Gaza’s residents despise the Jews and support Hamas. With all this in mind, what do you think of the Biden administration’s plans?

From CBS News. The Biden administration is considering bringing certain Palestinians to the U.S. as refugees, a move that would offer a permanent safe haven to some of those fleeing war-torn Gaza, according to internal federal government documents obtained by CBS News.

Let the IFA community know how to pray for you.

In recent weeks, the documents show, senior officials across several federal U.S. agencies have discussed the practicality of different options to resettle Palestinians from Gaza who have immediate family members who are American citizens or permanent residents.

One of those proposals involves using the decades-old United States Refugee Admissions Program to welcome Palestinians with U.S. ties who have managed to escape Gaza and enter neighboring Egypt, according to the inter-agency planning documents.

Top U.S. officials have also discussed getting additional Palestinians out of Gaza and processing them as refugees if they have American relatives, the documents show. …

Those who pass a series of eligibility, medical and security screenings would qualify to fly to the U.S. with refugee status, which offers beneficiaries permanent residency, resettlement benefits like housing assistance and a path to American citizenship. …

In a statement provided to CBS News late Tuesday night, a White House spokesperson said that the U.S. “has helped more than 1,800 American citizens and their families leave Gaza, many of whom have come to the United States. At President Biden’s direction, we have also helped, and will continue to help, some particularly vulnerable individuals, such as children with serious health problems and children who were receiving treatment for cancer, get out of harm’s way and receive care at nearby hospitals in the region.”

The statement went on to say that the U.S. “categorically rejects any actions leading to the forced relocation of Palestinians from Gaza or the West Bank or the redrawing of the borders of Gaza. The best path forward is to achieve a sustainable cease-fire through a hostage deal that will stabilize the situation and pave the way to a two-state solution.” …

The proposals to resettle certain Palestinians as refugees would mark a shift in longstanding U.S. government policy and practice. Since its inception in 1980, the U.S. refugee program has not resettled Palestinians in large numbers. …

We must take care of our own citizens. Palestinians should not be admitted to our country, especially in the White House! Are you kidding me? Just follow the money and power! Oligarts are funding the rioters, terrorists. We need a closed boarder, not more illegals pouring into our country. Obiden is looking for votes. This is pathetic! We need people to stand up for our rights, not hand them to non-citizen terrorists! The Jewish people were given Israel by God himself! The IDF warns and warns by leaflets by the thousands before they attack. They have a right to exist in their land!!!!! May God continue to protect His People Israel and her allies – U.S., Jordan, Saudi Arabia, France and the U.K. May God hear our prayers, and we thank Him for our freedom.

Lord, pray for wisdom. It seems we have left our own citizens behind in so many areas. I don’t believe this is a good idea, we are unable to support the millions of illegals brought in now, we’re not protecting our Jewish citizens and they started going after Christians/Catholics. We have drug addicts and homeless vets on the street, we’re not carrying for. I feel America really needs clean up the mess we have here 1st before we adding more! Continue the support over there! Besides I believe Biden wants only the votes, very sad to say!

It is all about the vote and this administration is trying to get the people in America who are Pro Israel to vote for him, because in Michigan he’s already lost the vote. We say no in Jesus name.

Having lived as a missionary volunteer in the Middle East and helped war refugees from both Syria and Palestine, I believe there is only a very small percentage of the population in Gaza that support Hamas. They have had to flee the violence, forced out of their homes, suffering for months seeing the deaths of many of their family members, mostly innocent women and children. They don’t hate the Jews, yet are fearful of the brutal tactics of the IDF.

I am personally extremely disappointed that our American government has spent billions of $ on armaments to support the genocide of these Palestinians, some of whom are Christians doing all they can to promote peaceful reconciliation.

Thank you, Robin, for your wise comments. Human rights belong to Palestinians as well. Evangelical Christians in Israel suffer petty (and not so petty) persecution and all manner of hinderance to their lives by the Israeli government. Not to mention harassment by the IDF. War crimes are war crimes, even if perpetrated by friends, remember Lt Calley trying to murder a whole village in Vietnam or torture and abuse in Guantánamo Bay. Christians in Gaza were doing what they could in education and health care – for all.>

Robin, I respectfully disagree with your analogy of genocide all the while not mentioning the atrocities by Hamas beginning on October 7th and continuing since that time. Women gang raped and murdered, tortured, babies beheaded and burned, men tortured and killed, holocaust survivors taken captive, because they are Jewish. Hamas breached the cease fire with intent and evil period, then hunted down and massacred innocent civilians. Still over 130 held hostages in Gaza. Why- because they are Jewish.

Israel has attempted numerous times for the release of the captives, all the while Hamas, Hezbollah and Houthis continue to attack. Millions of dollars poured in for infrastructure through UNWRA by nations (greatest funding from the U.S.), where was the accountability and oversight? Hamas was voted in by the Gazans. Jewish captives were gang-raped and paraded in Gaza, being spit on and beaten. Who came to their rescue?

Who builds tunnels vs. infrastructure for their people under schools, hospitals and mosques? Hamas. Who teaches children to hate, to kill and holds camps for children to learn this? Hamas.

Who sent notification in advance of war to civilians? Israel. Who has permitted aid into Gaza? Israel Who has medically treated even their enemies? Israel Who created a safe corridor for the Gazan civilians to enter through all the while Hamas uses Gazan human shields? Israel.

Who has defamed our colleges and tried to replace the U.S. flag in our nation? Palestine supporters, not Israel. From the river to the sea, who has chanted these words of genocide?

I pray for the oppressed in Gaza, but they are oppressed first and foremost by Hamas, not by Israel. Will you pray for Israel as well? I hope so.

My thoughts…

Too many unanswered questions and concerns…

Are these the same families that live in/near Dearborn MI and other well populated Islamic areas? The ones who were rallying with “Death to America” was chanted?

How will it be determined that those who are being considered are actually not Hamas, Hezbollah or Houthis?

Have the current and past events of the last four years given me any indication that this administration is trustworthy and committed to protecting and upholding the Constitution and the safety of America? Are they known for telling the truth?

…. And the 1,800 American citizens that the US has helped leave Gaza – many of whom came to the US? Well, are they American Citizens? Was this news worthy event made known to the American public,

… And at President Biden’s direction, we have helped and will continue to help.. Good to know- after the fact – at least for me.

Who’s funding all this aid? The same people who funded and are funding anti-semitism, far from peaceful,
protests across America?

Large numbers? Like the 9 million illegal immigrants that are here now?

Too, too many questions..
