I Prayed have prayed
Father, we ask that You help us combat cancel culture and walk in grace towards one another.

The Wall Street Journal editorial board took a swipe at The New York Times in a note to readers Thursday night, saying it will not bend to the “progressive cancel culture” sweeping the country.

“It was probably inevitable that the wave of progressive cancel culture would arrive at the Journal, as it has at nearly every other cultural, business, academic and journalistic institution,” the editors wrote. “But we are not the New York Times. Most Journal reporters attempt to cover the news fairly and down the middle, and our opinion pages offer an alternative to the uniform progressive views that dominate nearly all of today’s media.”

The note comes after 280 Wall Street Journal staffers signed a letter criticizing the paper’s opinion section for a “lack of fact-checking and transparency,” as well as an “apparent disregard for evidence.”

The letter also took issue with certain opinions being reflected in the editorial section, such as those questioning the idea of “systemic police racism.” . . .

“In the spirit of collegiality, we won’t respond in kind to the letter signers. Their anxieties aren’t our responsibility in any case,” the editors wrote.

“As long as our proprietors allow us the privilege to do so, the opinion pages will continue to publish contributors who speak their minds within the tradition of vigorous, reasoned discourse,” they concluded. “And these columns will continue to promote the principles of free people and free markets, which are more important than ever in what is a culture of growing progressive conformity and intolerance.”

I’m so thankful for people who have the courage to stand up and speak out for freedom. If more companies would resist the “mob” instead of caving to the insanity we wouldn’t be where we are in this country.
Thank you and may GOD bless you richly!

I think it is about time that those who don’t buy in to the cancel culture (and I am speaking about and to myself in this), stand up and speak out. The silent majority must not stay silent if we are going to keep cancel culture from canceling out this great nation of ours. I am a subscriber of the Wall Street Journal for exactly this reason–the broad spectrum of news and opinions that this newspaper presents. It is hard to find “news” outlets that really present news as news, and let it stand on it own four legs.Too many present opinion as news and demand you agree with it.

Thank you, Father, that The Wall Street Journal has committed to supporting a free press and printing news that may run counter to the opinions of some. Strengthen the resolve of those who make designs for the paper so they they continue to stand against politically motivated pressure to propagandize. Amen.

Thank the Lord that He has directed their hearts and given them courage to take a stand contrary to the loud voices of the Roaring lion Whose dark purpose Is to kill, steal, rob and destroy. Our Lord is a mighty warrior and wars before us, and we, his army do the same not in vain! Watchmen on His wall, we anxiously wait on the Lord with the true expectation that we will not be dismayed, knowing we will “see the goodness of The Lord in the land of the living” , that His words and promises for the righteous, as well as the evil “will not return void”, and “will accomplish the purpose for which He sent them!” Yes & Amen

Thanks to WSJ for taking a stand for free speech, freedom of the press and the rest of Bill of Rights. WSJ’s principles are foundational to our republic. Please keep standing for our freedoms. And for the WSJ staffers, they get to exercise their choices by voicing their criticism of their employer.
Always remember this principle:
We get to make our choices…we just do not get to choose our consequences.

I have friends that believe most everything written in the NYT. Especially if they don’t like President Trump, they are marching right along with the liberal thought leaders preaching this insidious rubbish. God save us from their godless influence.

You noticed the article is about The Wall Street Journal not going along with The New Your Times and reported by The Washington Post, correct? Therefore we ask You to strengthen good reporting at the Wall Street Journal and increase their subscriptions, and give wisdom, insight and enlightenment to The New York Times to resist censorship and not restrain Freedom of The Press, First Amendment in The Bill of Rights outlined in The Constitution of The United States of America. Also let the Washington Post have continued grace to at least report both sides. Mercy on us and let Your Word be Truth (John 17:17), in the name of Jesus.

How refreshing! Our family commends the WSJ for not bowing to the bullying tactics the left has stooped to to silence those who disagree with them. Instead of healthy discourse, we see an increase in shouting down and intimidating your opponents, as recently experienced by Tucker Carlsons family. May we all remember ‘all that is needed for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing’. May this not be said of us!

Salvation of Unsaved Media, Strength for Reform & Godly Reporting (Ex 20:16, 2 Peter 3:9)… Father, I know honesty in dealing with the masses is of much importance to You and ask strengthen righteous reporters and help those that are lost repent (2 Peter 3:9). We long for unbiased news, accurate reporting & good journalism across the nation and world (Prov 25:25). We ask “newscasters” would not bear false witness, relate hearsay, gainsay truth & forward outright lies (Ex 20:16). We pray for repentance & reformation in news agencies, may reporters be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Tim 2:1-5). Remove those who are not going to be saved (Ps 68:2). Grant mercy on the in the masses in the meantime (Matt 9:36) and give us the gift of discerning of spirits (1 Cor 12:10). I’ve never been an avid reader of the Wall Street Journal but I may start. If only the rest of media and corporate America exercised the courage to do what they do. The only way to deal with bullies, which is what many of these so-called activists are, is to stand up to them. Thank you, Father, for the organizations, institutions, and individuals that are taking a stand for free speech and against cancel culture. May more be brave enough to do so.

I heartily commend the Wall Street Journal on its stance. We need more expressions of this kind of courage in the face of the irrational attempt to cancel culture. What inanity! What insanity! Where are we headed except to oblivion at this rate. We need men with chest as C.S. Lewis put it, to stand and fight this madness which is stalking the land at this time. Are we facing “civilization’s last hurrah?” We need much prayer and the declatration of truth to at least stave off the inevitable for several years so that many might be saved before it is too late.

Our Father in heaven,
Holy is Your Name. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Let the Body of Christ be reminded that You are omnipresent omniscient and omnipotent God. You are the only one that can see human soul, heart and their intention. Your power is beyond our understanding. Your Holy Spirit is with us as we received the amazing grace of Jesus Christ.

We thank You that we can pray 24/7. Please forgive our sins as we forgive others who sins against us.

Lord God, show us what You want to do with our lives. We thank You that we are Your workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works which You have prepared in advance for us.

Righteous Father, we thank You for these 280 Wall Street Journal staffers signed a letter criticizing the paper’s opinion section for a “lack of fact-checking and transparency,” as well as an “apparent disregard for evidence.” We pray that the amazing grace of Jesus shine upon them so that they can see truth and dare to stand up to tell the truth and be the old fashion journalist who report the truth.

Father God, I pray that many who read NYT and WSJ will see these article and able to see what NYT has been doing for sometimes and able to move away from NYT.

Father God we, the Body of Christ want to be loved by You because You’re showing love to a thousand generations for those who love You and keep Your commandments. Exodus 20:6
Father God, we ask that the resources of the ungodly (Antifa, BLM, The Good Club, ACLU, Planned Parenthood, GGE, Open Society Foundation, the Hollywood Elites The Globalist, The Cartels, MSM, CCP, Russia etc) to dry up. Just as Jesus spoke to the nonproducing fig tree and it dried up from the roots, we speak to the resources of those who work evil in our government and command their money, communication, and alliances to dry up from the roots.
In Jesus name bind demonic principalities of witchcraft, hate, and division that keep American to be united.

Keep us humble and rely our trust on You forever and ever.

May the grace of the LORD Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all from today onward.
We love You, Father… thank You for loving us first. For Yours is the glory forever and ever. In Jesus’ holy, mighty, majestic, and matchless name we pray, Amen.”

I think the 280 staffers that signed the letter are the ones the paper was speaking out against.,From what I read, the editors are trying to allow all opinions to be published in their column, and didn’t want to bow to the cancel culture all other news sources are allowing to dictate in their articles. So, I think we are to applaud the editors of the WSJ for their stand!

I further thank God for His gift of language that helps us to articulate rather than regurgitate filth and accusations against each other. Praying for the reporters, journalists, etc. CNN, Fox, ABC, all the news on TV, all the people who speak on TV about the news, praying that God will reveal truth, God’s wisdom, truth, and revelation.
