I Prayed have prayed
God, we pray against all attempts to divide Your nation and erase its history. Restore a biblical understanding of Israel and its history!
Reading Time: < 1 minute

This is only the most recent attempt to erase the history and heritage of God’s people. Intervene on behalf of the Jewish people, Lord!

From CBN. UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) has declared ancient Jericho as a “Palestinian Heritage” site, and some say that eradicates the biblical connection to the city.

Have you taken your place on the wall?

Considered the “oldest city in the world,” Jericho is most commonly known for its biblical history. …

Israeli Foreign Ministry officials were quoted as saying they “see the decision as another sign of the Palestinians’ cynical use of UNESCO and the politicization of the organization.”  …

It’s not the first time UNESCO has declared a biblical site as part of the Palestinian Authority. In 2018, the U.N. body declared Rachel’s Tomb … and the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron … as “an integral part of the Occupied Palestinian territory.”  …

Joshua 6:25 “But Joshua spared Rahab the prostitute, with her family and all who belonged to her, because she hid the men Joshua had sent as spies to Jericho-and she lives among the Israelites to this day.” God’s Word is clear. Jericho is a part of Israel’s history in spite of what UNESCO may say! “Father, thank U for the new TBN movie, Route 60. that was recently released. From Nazareth to Beersheba, 146 miles, there are many landmarks mentioned in the Bible that verify your “love letter” to the human race. I pray for the peace of Jerusalem today. May everyone prosper who loves You & this city. In Jesus name, Amen.”

Almighty Father and Savior, we take great comfort in your sovereignty. All that you have planned will take place as you have ordained. I want to thank you that I’m not in charge and I can trust you with all things. I praise you that you are wonderful and grately to be praised.
In Jesus’s name Amen

The attempts to erase history are ongoing and futile. Paul says in 2 Corinthians 13:8, there’s nothing we can do to oppose the truth; all we can do is align ourselves with it. gotquestions.org says:

“Philosophers, intellectuals, and even artists have tried to name truth apart from Jesus Christ, and it’s popular to speak of “my truth” or “your truth” as opposed to a universal truth… But truth is what conforms to reality, and if something is true, it is true for all people for all time in all places. ALL TRUTH IS GOD’S TRUTH….Johannes Kepler, a German astronomer who is called “the father of celestial mechanics,” is credited with describing his study of the universe as “thinking God’s thoughts after Him.” Kepler understood that ALL TRUTH IS GOD’S TRUTH.”

Dear Father God, You are El Emet, The God of Truth and the ultimate source of ALL reality. I pray this will be known in the hearts of those who seek to deceive. I am praying in the Name of Jesus Christ, that each individual under the influence of the adversary ( the source of all lies) would be bound in TRUTH. Amen
