The Virginia Supreme Court denied a request by the state attorney general to strike a lower court’s ruling that blocked the certification of the state’s redistricting referendum outcome until the legal process concludes.

Virginia Attorney General Jay Jones filed the request on April 24 after Tazewell Circuit Court Judge Jack Hurley ruled April 22 that the state’s referendum, approved the day before by 51 percent to 49 percent of voters, was invalid.

The challengers said the referendum was rushed into the election cycle too late and didn’t meet the constitution’s rules, invalidating it.
The legal battle unfolding before the Virginia Supreme Court centers on whether proper constitutional procedures were followed in placing this referendum before voters. At stake is not just one state’s congressional map, but the integrity of the process itself. If rules governing timing and transparency were bypassed, it raises serious concerns about how laws are enacted and how voters are informed.

I don’t really understand how each state can use this form of control to manipulate the structure, wishes of each party, Republic or Democrat.
But I thought our government, US of America was protected and created by Jesus. Jesus reads each person’s mind, before that person talks, Jesus knows each person ‘s process, thoughts, decisions, actions, whether they are good or evil.
Our nation is under God’s authority, grace, wisdom, revelation, directions. I am asking to destroy all the fiery darts, plans of people who do NOT obey Jesus., in our country. America is one a nation under God, indivisible. with liberty and justice for ALL. May Jesus ‘s authority, grace, rules, regulations, plans, directions rule, come to revelation, be done in the US. The Bible says ask anything in Jesus’s name and if it is according to Jesus’s will , it will be done!!! So I am asking, pleading, that only Jesus’s will, direction, wisdom, revelation, will be done in the US of America!!! Amen
God, we commit Virginia and all other states who are re-districting their states to you. Let Your hand bring about righteousness and justice. You love righteousness and justice and we pray every map would be re-drawn in a way that every legal American has a voice and is represented. Wherever there is corrupt gerrymandering, we pray You’d bring it to light, and that truth and transparency would win!

It is wrongly skewed in democrats favor. How can the courts approve such a tally as 10 democrats to 1 republican seat. Why is there even a debate about the fairness of this split. it takes away the voice of the voter. Lord open the eyes of the judges to see the truth that this redistricting effort in Virginia is not in the best interest of Virginia voters. Lord, shut down the deception and power grab. by democrats. Lord, Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
Please pray for conservative Christians in rural VA. They have disenfranchised us and have taken our voices. My southside rural county is now in the same district as Richmond. We need this to be overturned!
Lord Jesus, You are keenly aware of the issues that are involved in the redistricting efforts in our nation. I pray, Lord Jesus, that the justices that will be adjudicating these attempts will seek Your guidance and direction in the decisions that will be made regarding the legality of these issues. It is a sad commentary on our state of national affairs, that this is even an issue in our nation. May Your will prevail. Thank you Jesus.
Gerrymandering is hundreds of years old and IS injurious to fair elections.
Lord, I pray that election integrity would be maintained in all states and all people represented. I pray for Virginia that you would give the judges courage to follow the law where that leads and not be manipulated by any in power. Change the hearts of those in power in Virginia, that many would repent and come to know Jesus in a way that it would transform their lives and the policies they make. Give elected officials a heart to work for all the people, not just those in their party. Where there is dishonesty, expose it. We trust that you are in ultimate control of all of this and you are good. In Your Name, Jesus, Amen.
The democrats have been doing this for decades as well as all sorts of voter fraud so they could maintain power. I have been saying for decades that democrats are communists and now they admit it openly by saying socialist democrats which is another word for communist. If they would ever gain complete power there would never be a fair election again and all the satanic evils they support would be forced on everyone. The word demoncrat fits their party for all the evils they are supporting and fighting for. I trust in God’s will to be done. Amen
