Moody’s downgraded the banking system rating. Don’t be afraid–pray the faith-filled prayers in IFA’s new prayer guide on the banking crisis.
From CNBC. In a harsh blow to an already-reeling sector, Moody’s Investors Service cut its view on the entire banking system to negative from stable.

The firm, part of the big three rating services, said Monday it was making the move in light of key bank failures that prompted regulators to step in Sunday with a dramatic rescue plan for depositors and other institutions impacted by the crisis.
“We have changed to negative from stable our outlook on the US banking system to reflect the rapid deterioration in the operating environment following deposit runs at Silicon Valley Bank (SVB), Silvergate Bank, and Signature Bank (SNY) and the failures of SVB and SNY,” Moody’s said in a report.
The move followed action late Monday, when Moody’s warned it either was downgrading or placing on review for downgrade seven individual institutions.
The moves are important because they could impact credit ratings and thus borrowing costs for the sector. …
Moody’s on Monday downgraded Signature Bank and said it would remove all ratings. It placed the following institutions under review for potential downgrades: First Republic, Intrust Financial, UMB, Zions Bancorp, Western Alliance and Comerica. …
The firm said it expects the U.S. economy to fall into recession later this year, further pressuring the industry.

Lord God Almighty 🙏, as Americans we lift our banking system to you because you are the provider and protector for all of us. As a country this money is yours and not ours. Please help us be humble instead of being wickedly evil. Keep our eyes on you!!
Father. I have no clue on how to effectively pray for the American banking and financial system other than a simple prayer Jesus taught to deliver us from evil, and let YOUR KINGDOM come, and let YOUR WILL be DONE on earth, (in us, our nation and our political and financial system) as it is in Heaven. Father, Jesus spoke wise and profound parables regarding investors, employers, and servants. These are a part of the society of the human race you created so you obviously have an interest in how these effect your people. Father, we pray on behalf of your church, on behalf of those who call themselves yours, who may or may not be actually living lives that prove they actually are yours, those who may be overly focused on the cares of this life instead of your Kingdom, we pray deep powerful Holy Spirit conviction on them and a raising up of those who are spiritually blind, sick and naked, lame, and near spiritual death because they were caught unawares or unguarded by enemy forces who came to lie, kill and steal the Word and Spiritual inheritance of your people.
Father forgive us for our personal sins and spiritual sloth, and raise us up with your 7 spirits, your wisdom and might with your counsel and discernment, to fear and obey you properly so that our nation can be blessed. Father you promise to hear and heal or land when your people humble themselves and pray and we pray that you would help us by your Holy Spirit to consistently do that so you can honor your promise. THANK YOU for heading and answering our prayers and by the sacrifice of Jesus, to make us more than conquerors against all enemy forces.
Father, I would also ask that you deliver your people from all their fears in these perilous days as Psalms declares, as we watch our nation struggling spiritually, politically, and financially, Father protect our natiin’s sovereignty innevery area, and our constitutional rights, Father strengthen and deliver us from all fear, and especially the fear of fear, and the fear of unbelief, faith and faithfulness are gifts from you gained for us by, Jesus, and given to us through your word, who Jesus IS, as John explains innhis gospel. Father especially steady the poor and weak of your people innthese days, who see the news and tremble at it, may you turn that around so that they tremble in a holy way with holy awe and fear of you and your discipline and faithfulness, mature your churchto truly walk by faith despite what we see happening in our circumstances and inntge news. This is the beginning of “rescuing” us by demanding a government controlled central bank currency system only, of replacing a possibly engineered failure of the baking system by instituting the rigid controls of a cashless society. Step by step, it is sold as protecting us from the “bad” unregulated banks (and yes, there are problems there), until control of the economy is wrested from the banks to the FED (which is not controlled by Congress) or possibly another entity. With our financial resources controlled this way (and the resources which depend upon the financial) , we, too, will be totally controlled by those who control the finances. Watch documentaries on China’s social credit system and get the idea.

I have read that this SVB was one of the most “woke” banks in the USA, supporting Communism (disguised as Black Lives Matter) and the LGBT+ agenda with millions of dollars. Lord, it saddens us when we see our entire culture worshipping the false god of money. The security and confidence that most people place in their money, well it grieves us to see such glory misplaced, when all glory belongs to you Father. May we understand clearly that our next breath belongs to You.

This isn’t surprising at all, considering the stagflation in our economy. The New World Order is out to destroy the very fabric of our society- economically included. Lord, please. stabilize our economy, including the banking system in our nation. I bind the attempts of the NWO to destroy our nation and its economy. Lord, I pray for protection for businesses, business owners, non-profits, and others who need money in order to earn money. Lord, the foolishness of the current government leadership is wreaking havoc on our economy. Yet, Lord, not my will but Thine be done. Protect us. Discipline us. The corporate prayer listed is wrong. These failures of SVB and Signature Bank are due to corruption, unGodliness and even anti-Christ like policies.
Please pray the “our banking system returns to a system that fears the Lord God, honors Him, and is fair and just as His Law expects.”
AMEN!!! Keep in mind that our fiat money is only as strong as the world’s confidence in it. When our corrupt government took us off of the gold standard, and later the sliver certificates, we fell into the trap of the very wealthy world financiers. Todays examples would include Bill Gates, George Soros, Media Moguls, etc. who desire total control of the earth.
A second issue is that both coasts (large urban populations) breed crime, sin and corruption. The possibility exists that God just may be punishing the wicked, but I do not know His purposes in this, other than He draws people to Him through the tough times not the mountaintop good times.
