As the conflict involving Iran continues to reshape the Middle East, President Donald Trump is now linking ongoing negotiations with Tehran to a dramatic expansion of the Abraham Accords. The proposal could redefine alliances across the region and potentially usher in a new era of cooperation between Israel and several Muslim-majority nations.

From The Epoch Times:

U.S. President Donald Trump on May 25 linked a potential agreement with Iran to a sweeping expansion of the Abraham Accords, saying that Arab and Muslim-majority nations involved in the negotiations should normalize ties with Israel as part of a broader settlement aimed at stabilizing the Middle East at a time of “conflict and war.”

Trump said in a post on Truth Social that negotiations with Tehran were “proceeding nicely” but warned that failure to reach an agreement could lead to renewed military action.

“It will only be a Great Deal for all or, no Deal at all—Back to the Battlefront and shooting,” Trump wrote.

According to the report, negotiations between the United States and Iran are centered on ending hostilities, reopening the Strait of Hormuz, and preventing Iran from becoming a nuclear power, turning over all enriched Uranian to the U.S. Trump also reportedly urged nations such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt, and Jordan to formally join the Abraham Accords alongside any broader agreement involving Tehran.

The Abraham Accords, first brokered during President Trump’s first term, normalized relations between Israel and several Arab nations and were widely viewed as one of the most significant diplomatic breakthroughs in decades. Trump now appears to be pursuing an even larger regional realignment—one that supporters say could bring unprecedented economic cooperation and stability to the Middle East.

Critics, however, remain skeptical of Iran’s intentions, especially as Tehran continues enriching uranium near weapons-grade levels. Secretary of State Marco Rubio emphasized that the administration would not accept a weak deal, while Iranian officials signaled that negotiations are progressing but far from finalized.

As tensions remain high and diplomacy continues, many are watching to see whether these negotiations could truly produce lasting peace—or simply delay a broader conflict.
