As conflict in the Middle East continues, there may yet be hope for a peaceful resolution. President Trump recently announced a pause in strikes on Iran, citing “very good and productive conversations with the nation.

From Breitbart:

Trump says the U.S. and Iran have held talks on the “complete and total resolution of hostilities” in the Middle East driven by Operation Epic Fury.

The president says that, as a result of the diplomatic exchanges, he has postponed threatened future strikes on Iranian power plants and infrastructure.

Trump says he will “postpone any and all strikes against Iranian power plants and energy infrastructure” for a five day period.

President Trump announced the decision on Truth Social. You can see his message in the embedded post below.

Over the weekend, the President gave Iran a 48-hour deadline to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, threatening to “obliterate” the nation’s power plants if it refused. His announcement on Monday morning also came mere hours after Iran threatened to deploy naval mines across the gulf.

The decision to pause strikes is already sending ripples across the world. Breitbart reported that oil prices plunged and European stocks surged in the wake of the announcement.

Jesus says blessed are the peacemakers (Matt. 5:9), and it is encouraging to see our Commander-in-Chief aiming to be a peacemaker in the Middle East. Though Iran has proved uncooperative thus far, let’s pray that the Islamic nation listens to reason, and let’s pray for peace in the Middle East!

Iran just wants a ceasefire so they they can rebuild. We must finish the fight against this regime and Iran Guard. They have no intention of accepting any deal and they will continue to build their nuclear arsenal. We pray for wisdom of all the leaders involved in decision making about what to do in Iran. We should not accept a temporary fix that’s presented as a peaceful resolution. We are dealing with terrorists.

My concern as well is that Iran will use this time to rebuild!!! Thank God for our President wanting to allow time to negotiate but these people are terrorists and their word means nothing!
Father lead our President by your spirit in the next step! And I pray for Your people in Israel..may they turn to You wholeheartedly. I pray peace for.Jerusalem. I pray for freedom for the people in Iran and that the Christians there will rise up strong against.evil and oppressive government and take a stand in the spirit for their country!!
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven….in the United States, in Venzuala, Iran, Cuba and all nations on earth!

    I agree…

Seems like Trump knows this above all… wonder why he would be saying this??? Doing this?

Maybe the Islamic regime is actually crumbling???? Or moving out of the way?

Bring Persia back!!! May the church rise up and take back their country for freedom.

While I think that is admirable that President Trump is trying to bring peace to the Middle East, doing so is temporary at best. These people are unreasonable, terroristic ,fanatical people who have been fighting among themselves since Biblical times, Only the names have changed. We need to achieve our objective, then get out ASAP. There is NO need for us to get sucked into their inability to live peacefully. Lord Jesus, please give our leaders guidance and wisdom in navigating this conflict. may Your will prevail.

A leopard cannot change its spots.
Same with the terrorists in Iran.

We pray for President Trump that he will keep standing to destroy the regime.
To be led by the Holy Spirit in Jesus Name.

I agree with your prayers. i do not trust them. The koran gives them permission to lie if it benefits their false god. I pray for freedom for the Iranian people.
Only God can bring real peace. I pray that their deception and lies will be exposed.

We know how passionately the Iranian leadership HATES both the US and Israel. They will lie and mislead
whenever necessary in order to catch us off guard as we allow them to do us more and more harm!!!!!!!!

I found this interesting so I’m commenting. Present Trump on his TruthSocial posted about the Iranian talks going well. His post was reposted by an organization by the name of “ rapid response”, the source IFA used in this article. Midway through, they used the word Witch for WHICH. I went back to Donald Trump‘s original post on TruthSocial and he had used the appropriate word WHICH.
I consider that sleight-of-hand regarding the enemy.
Thank you for your prayerful attention to this matter!

Israel’s history with Iran has proven over and over that we cannot negotiate with terrorists.
#1. To Iran’s leadership,America is the “great satan” and must be destroyed.
#2. We are “infidels”.The Koran says it is acceptable to lie to infidels.
Most recent of lies is their ballistic missile range-it’s double what they claimed.
They claimed they only developed nuclear for energy purposes.
Yet even in their last negotiations they openly bragged they have enough enriched uranium for 11 warheads.

So many have forgotten why we entered World War II ! It’s no different today than it was then! Iranian leaders have threatened the world with evil terror and destruction! They’re end game is to kill Jews and Americans and any other peoples that stands with us! Let us pray that these evil, wicked terrorists are stopped from their destructive agenda! And yes that the Iranian people can enjoy freedom and peace within their borders

Oh, Lord, may the President and those making agreements be fully aware that any Muslin is encouraged to lie to infidels. This gives little assurance that Iran will uphold their deals.

Lord, You have the whole world in Your hands. You rule and reign. Yet, in Your permissive will, You allow people and nations to make choices. Father, so often this tactic by Iran is to buy time. Help the U.S. and our allies to keep an intense watchful eye upon Iran and their cohorts. ost of all in all this, dear Creator of all mankind, please free the Iranian people from this tyrannica regime for a season so that the gospel can freely flow within the nation. Save all Your chosen at this time, Lord. Grant wisdom to our leaders. Help them hear Your voice. In Jesus’ Name I thank You. Amen.

Lord God of hosts, uphold our President with Your righteous right hand. May he neither fear nor be dismayed. Strengthen him and sanctify him with Your perfect peace in spirit, soul, and body completely. Help him to know and to do Your will. Work in him to will and to do for Your good pleasure. Guard him against any wrong counsel and lead him and his advisors into truth and revelation of Your will concerning Iran. Guide them in every decision.

Lord God of Israel, protect PM Netanyahu give him wise counsel, also. Continue to strengthen our bond with Israel and keep our President from any decision that will be detrimental to Israel or our nation.

I plead the blood of Jesus over any plot or plan this evil Islamic regime has against America or Israel and bind further destruction and violence, and all evil against us or its own citizens. In Jesus’ name.

Raise up righteous rule in Iran where freedom can flourish and revival continue to spread across the Middle East.

Thank You for all You have done to crush the Prince of Persia, and I pray for its evil hold on the Middle East to be broken by the power of the name of Jesus and His blood.

All glory to You, Lord God! In Jesus’ mighty name I pray. Amen.

I’m grateful that President Trump is both wise and decisive in this extremely complex and explosive atmosphere of war. I pray that more people would understand that even though we dislike war and all the pain and sorrow it brings; there are real enemies that seek to destroy us and our allies…and in order to bring peace and rest there must be war against the evil first.
