A group of IFA intercessors from around the nation are convening in Washington, DC for a special assignment. Their task? On site strategic prayer at the Supreme Court for the case that could overturn Roe v. Wade–the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health case being heard Wednesday, December 1st. The eyes of the nation are on this case. And the battle is not just a legal court battle, but a spiritual battle as well. We must think deliberately as we ready our strategy for prayer to prophetically “take the land” for life. As Joshua followed the Lord’s specific directions, encircling the city of Jericho to defeat it, intercessors on the ground will to be encircling the Supreme Court in prayer and intercession so that the “walls” of national abortion would fall.
When you think of all the business, influence, power, money, and control that national legalized abortion has embedded in our nation, you can easily see just what is at stake in this case. Those intercessors on the ground in DC will be representing you, the hundreds of thousands of intercessors praying with Intercessors for America for this day. You also have an important role to play.
While some intercessors are praying at ground zero of the case, we are asking you to join our virtual strategic prayer effort: Watch and Pray Parties. Beginning with praise and worship at 9:00am ET, led by recording artist Natasha Owen, moving into a time of prayer before the case is heard, and then praying strategically as the oral arguments audio from the Supreme Court chambers is joined to our webcast at 10:00am ET.
Join us on our knees for this landmark case.
How can you make the most of this Watch and Pray Party effort? Here are four ways.
- Gather with other intercessors together in person to participate virtually with the Watch and Pray live webcast. As the events unfold between 9-11:00am, you can be participating as a group, praying together in person.
- Recruit others in your family or small group to join you to pray on that day. Share the downloadable prayer points with those you invite so they can be prepared to pray along in agreement during the Supreme Court oral arguments.
- Reach out to churches in your area to introduce them to this Watch and Pray Parties strategy. Share the download with instructions for connecting, and encourage them to get their church body praying at the time of the oral arguments as well.
- Intercede for those onsite in Washington DC. As you are watching and praying, you can be the rear guard for those who are on the ground at the Supreme Court facing pro-abortion activists and covering the area around the Supreme Court in prayer.

Father, we look to you for the victory in this battle for life. We thank you for the commitment of many to pray, both at the Supreme Court and elsewhere. We repent for our country of this sin and declare your victory over it!

I absolutely will be joining you in this effort on December 1. As Christians, and God’s holy Remnant, we need to be interceding on behalf of the SCOTUS that they will do the right thing next Wednesday. As His children, we need to rise up, and pray in intercession for the innocent unborn, as well as the millions of babies whose lives have been martyred since this horrible decision to legalize abortion was made

Heavenly Father, we come to You in the Name of Your Son, Jesus. There are so many words in Your Word that we can pray for the Supreme Court Justices, the lawyers, the intercessors, those who are deceived by this evil act of abortion. Psalm 22 covers many things, but the blood of Your Son covers it all. Father, You know well all the details, and we beseech You with all our hearts to cause Roe v. Wade to be overturned by giving Your children, born and unborn, victory in Dobbs v. Jackson. We decree and declare that it will establish a precedent to the nations of the world, and that people of every nation will value the lives of the unborn and desire abortion practices to be abolished. Our enemies are great, Father, but You are greater than them all. We praise and thank You for lifting this curse off our nation. Father, as You went with, before and behind Your children as they came out of Egypt, we beseech You to go with, before and behind the unborn here in America. Thank You, Father. Nothing is too hard for You, and we thank You for the world changers who are going to live and not die. We praise You with our whole heart, in Jesus Name, amen.
I will continue to participate in prayer. Praying alongside the earthly army the Lord is building for such a time as this.
Father, many wicked individuals are among us “who were designated long ago for condemnation. They have turned the grace of our God into a license for immorality, and they deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.” I humbly pray by the work of Your hands, the “business, influence, power, money, and control that national legalized abortion has embedded in our nation,” would be annihilated. Your Word says, “The love of money is the root of all kinds of evil…” I believe this is the gravest of evil and You have a time and date designated for its destruction, forever. My hope is in You alone Father. May the walls come tumbling down! “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God forever and ever! Amen.”
