Syrian-born gunman Ahmad Alissa, 21, was known to FBI and ranted about ‘Islamophobes hacking his phone’ before killing ten at Boulder grocery store with assault rifle he bought one week ago.
The shooting is the seventh mass shooting in the US in a week and comes six days after eight died in Georgia. President Biden on Tuesday called for a nationwide ban on assault rifles and tighter laws on background checks .
Alissa asked if he could speak with his mother after surrendering to police on Monday, having stripped off and laid down his down his Ruger AR-556 rifle, handgun and tactical vest in the supermarket’s aisles.
A high school wrestler who has been described by his family as ‘mentally ill’, was born in Syria and moved to the US when he was three. . . .
At 2.40pm on Monday, he opened fire on the King Soopers grocery store in Boulder, killing ten people.
He was taken into custody at 3.28pm and was transported to the hospital to be treated for a leg wound. He has since been released from the hospital and is now in Boulder County Jail. . . .
He has been charged with ten counts of murder. . . .
His brother confirmed he was the shooter in an interview with The Daily Beast on Tuesday, saying he was ‘paranoid’ and ‘very antisocial’.
He insisted that the shooting was not politically-motivated and said:'[It was] not at all a political statement, it’s mental illness.
‘The guy used to get bullied a lot in high school, he was like an outgoing kid but after he went to high school and got bullied a lot, he started becoming anti-social,’ he said. . . .
‘He was kind of scary to be around. His senior year, during the wrestle-offs to see who makes varsity, he actually lost his match and quit the team and yelled out in the wrestling room that he was, like, going to kill everybody.
‘Nobody believed him. We were just all kind of freaked out by it, but nobody did anything about it,’ Dayton Marvel said. Another, Angel Hernandez, recalled an incident where another wrestler teased him for losing and he just ‘started punching him’.
Alissa has been arrested at least once before including in 2017 when he punched someone who had made fun of his race.
In a July 2019 Facebook post, he ranted: ‘Yeah if these racist Islamophobic people would stop hacking my phone and let me have a normal life I probably could.’ . . .

Lord heal the souls of those in Colorado who lost loved ones. We pray for healing over those affected by this tragic shooting and multiple murdered person’s. Lord may justice be done and Your will be fulfilled over the killer. Lord I pray that those with hatred, bitterness, ties to terrorist groups, mental illness or other hatreds be found and be held Accountable. Lord may the organizations that are responsible for safety in our Nation be discerning. Help them follow up on the serious threats. Thank you for the brave men and women that sacrificed to save others. We pray against Government trying to abolish the right to bear arms in our Nation. We pray for security on our borders, regulations of refugee’s entering our Nation without background checks. Lord please help. In Jesus Name. Amen

So when the jews rebelled against Jesus Messiah and the Last Prophet (John the Baptist) and the eternal righteousness we can have in Jesus Christ, the opened the door to an endless stream of fake messiahs and fake prophets (so Mani, later renamed “Mohammed”, was one of these false prophets).

I wonder if this may be a ploy to take away our gun rights a little at a time. To disarm civilians is a means to enslave them! That is exactly what happened to the Jews in Nazi Germany after their gun bans.
We must stand guard and prepare for more attacks like this. With so many illegals crossing the border, not sure what to expect now except maybe more violence. Lord help us!

What would trigger a young man to want to kill? He has given an excuse for hate because of being made fun of and calling it mental illness. It is a heart issue that begins in the mind. Give him a new heart by believing that Jesus died for all his sins. Bring Your servant to that Bolder jail to share the gospel with him. For us who have received a new heart by being born again, Matthew 5:21-26 is Jesus teaching us about having anger in our hearts. LORD deliver us from anger in our hearts by repenting, forgiving those who have hurt us and be reconciled with those we are angry with and fill us with Your abounding and unending love even to loving our enemies as You have commanded.
By all means take away gun rights one step at a time. Enforce the laws already in place and why did anyone sell him a rifle? Or any gun? Makes me wonder who is behind all of this really?
If you believe disarming citizens who obey laws will stop evil, then you must totally trust earthly governments, as they, and criminals, will be the only ones with guns. That did not work well for the Jews in Nazi Germany, after their gun bans.

It is sad that there were no sheep dogs to protect the sheep in Boulder Colorado. In Israel, mass shootings are not a problem, for the populace has a sheep dog mentality and rushes the instigator, rather than cowering or opening up a space to be easy targets. We should all be willing to protect the flock, and not allow evil when it rears it’s head in our presence.
When Trump was president, we did not have very many mass shootings. Now we have several in one week. I really think this is a ploy to take peoples guns from them. I do believe the background checks may need to be stronger. I do believe a person has the right to own a gun, to either hunt with or defend their home. I do not have one because I trust God to protect me. I pray the He will give our congress enough wisdom to know what to do about this situation.
I am a Trump supporter, but if you do a mass shooting search you will see MANY mass shootings listed. If they broadcasted every one, no one would leave their homes especially if we knew about EVERY shooting, killing, rape….
The enemy’s agenda is to pretend to be an American using guns to kill people so the administration can confiscate all guns. Obama administration brought all these terrorists in for this time.
God allowed it so anything that draws us to the Father is a good thing. Father God strengthen our faith and make our prayers bold in requests for revival.
