A petition challenging the International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) transgender policy and calling for the exclusion of New Zealand weightlifter Laurel Hubbard from competing in Tokyo later this month is building with more than 21,000 signatures already added.
Hubbard, 43, a male who identifies as a woman, became the first transgender athlete to be selected to represent their country at the Olympics when she was one of New Zealand’s first picks last month for the Tokyo games.

As Breitbart News reported, Hubbard transitioned in 2012 and has been competing at home and would have been on New Zealand’s last Olympics team if it wasn’t for an injury that prevented it.
Now a change.org petition is calling for a review and overhaul of the IOC’s policy on transgender athletes and has so-far received more than 21,000 signatures.
The petition outlines the policy allows “male-born athletes who identify as women” to take the place of women on sports teams and break women’s sporting records.
“This is unfair to women due to the incontrovertible physical advantage that transwomen have,” the petition said.
The petition argues the IOC’s policy on transgender athletes “completely ignores” any physical advantages in speed, height, stamina and strength that a “male-born athlete will have”.
The Olympic Committee released a consensus in 2015 in which it approved the eligibility of transgender women to compete in the games under certain conditions.
Some within the weightlifting community argue the policy does not guarantee fair competition. The determining criteria — a maximum reading of 10 nanomoles per litre of testosterone — is as least five times more than a biological woman.
Belgium’s Anna Van Bellinghen, who will likely compete against Hubbard, said the New Zealander’s presence would be “like a bad joke” for women competitors.

It doesn’t matter if a person “transitions” to whatever!! They ARE WHO GOD MADE THEM TO BE, period!! This insanity has to stop!! When are good people (and there are LOTS of us) going to stand and say, ENOUGH! We’ve had enough!! Americans need to say, this is NOT acceptable! The Olympic committee needs to do the right thing, otherwise, the Olympics mean nothing, because it is not fair, it is not right! This whole thing is so ungodly, and ludicrous, most of us cannot believe people actually are arguing about this!
God is very, very clear, He created a man and a woman, not a transgender!! God is not the author of fear or confusion! We simply cannot ignore what is being “pushed” on us! It’s time to take a stand against this “sick” and sinful, agenda. No compromise on this issue!

I agree with your observation in regard to using that pronoun
for this person. It was quite an unpleasant feeling to read that.
Whenever anything comes up about these poor misquided people, I
always think: “They must be so terribly miserable, being what God
made them to be.” This miserable feeling is amplified by the devil,
in order to ensnare them in his concept of evil existence. We have
the power in the name of Jesus to rebuke that, which I do quite often!
I could say a whole lot more, but suffice it to say that if we, being
sinners saved by God’s grace, can see that it is wrong and that it leads
to a consequence for these poor people, surely God has full awareness and
is a God of mercy and loving kindness. I just feel it is best for Him to
move in this situation and effect the changes needed for these lost people.

Dear Lord Jesus,
Please enter the hearts of transgender people and show them the error in their ways. Let it be that they never try to enter sports and sports competitions under their new chosen sex label. We all, including them, know that there are two sexes – Male and Female. Help them see that they may enter sports competitions under their birth sex and that only. I pray with love in my heart these things. Amen
Heavenly Father and Lord Jesus, You created two sexes: Male and Female. If someone is confused and he thinks he is a female but still wants to engage in professional sports, then a third option might be considered called TRANS SPORTS. Transgenders would only compete against other transgenders.
This sort of plan would retain the dignity of women and men who train for years to compete in elite sports.
And would highlight the small group of folks who are confused and need a relationship with Jesus.

The denial of our true biological self is wrong in so many ways. Each of those who are confused as to their gender needs mental health and spiritual guidance. So sad that this is happening in our world. I pray for it to stop and for people to accept Jesus and the Scriptures as the real way to live.
Dear Heavenly Father, I ask Your divine intervention in this – may these women (true females from birth) who have trained so hard, may they not have to compete against biologically made men. It is not fair, God as You are aware. I pray for these people, God who are transgender; they need You, God to open their eyes and see that you created them as You intended them to be, not of their own choosing, but of Your choosing. You do not make mistakes; may they see that if they were born male, that was Your intention.

First of all, the whole transgender thing is wrong, and an abomination to Father God. Allowing former “men” to compete against other “women” is just plain unfair and wrong. Lord, please, bring it to pass that this petition will indeed gain traction with the IOC. Please, for the integrity of the Olympics, let this petition indeed make a difference in any decision-making process regarding this issue. You know what is right, and I pray that right would prevail over wrong in this situation. It has far-reaching implications, and needs to be dealt with accordingly. In Jesus’ name.

Creator Father God you are our creator, I plead the blood of Jesus over this petition. I pray created women compete against created women not man made women. I ask you Lord to intervene. I thank you Lord for women and men. I pray for women and men around the world to love and understand that you created them. Creator Father God lift the scales from their eyes.
