Republicans in Pennsylvania’s Senate are discussing launching a privately funded audit of the 2020 election.
A three-senator delegation led by state Sen. Doug Mastriano visited Arizona in June to receive an overview of the Maricopa County probe into the election and last week sought legal advice from a Pennsylvania law firm on the legality of using private funds to finance a similar endeavor, according to The Associated Press.
“Transparency is a must in our republic,” the delegation said in a press release last month announcing their plans to visit the Maricopa Election Forensic Election Audit. “Every citizen should be confident that their vote counts.”
President Biden won Pennsylvania by just over a 1% margin in November. No objections to the results have been raised by county election boards in the state.
The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to authorize the election audit in late January and in April began the probe, which included a forensic analysis of the ballot tabulation equipment used in the 2020 elections.
The Arizona effort was funded in part through a $150 million appropriation from the state’s operating budget. Former Overstock CEO Patrick Byrne also donated funds for the effort.
The proposal for a similar audit in Pennsylvania is likely to face opposition from Democratic lawmakers and in state courts, but a Philadelphia-based lawyer said the probe could be permissible under state law.
“While we cannot predict how the Pennsylvania Supreme Court would decide the issue, in our opinion, to a reasonable degree of legal certainty, Pennsylvania law does not prohibit the Caucus or Committee from accepting or benefiting from such financial support,” lawyer Bruce S. Marks said in a recent letter to the Republican delegation obtained by the AP.
Mr. Mastriano, who chairs the Senate Intergovernmental Operations Committee, led a private briefing last week to update the Republican delegation on his plan, which could include a subpoena of more than 2 million ballots, counting machines, and computer data to “develop legislation which will enhance voter participation and election integrity,” according to the AP.
“I don’t know the ins and outs. I don’t know who’s going to pay for an audit. I don’t know how extensive it might be,” Pennsylvania Republican Sen. Camera Bartolotta told the AP. “I do know that there are millions of Pennsylvanians who have questions and concerns, and there is a lack of trust.”

Dear God, I come to You with all the praise, glory, and honor that You are due. I come acknowledging that You are King of kings and Lord of lords. Lord as your people we humbly ask that You would part the impossible Red sea in the PA election and that You would pave the way to allow the audit that is necessary for honesty, integrity and truth to be established. In your name we pray amen.
With Biden AG Merrick Garland threatening legal action against the audit, a threat which was soundly rejected by Arizona with a counter-threat of imprisonment of any Federal official who would dare to interfere in any way with the forensic audit, and other new lawsuits attempting to stop the audit- it’s clear that the first Domino is about to fall! I pray that many of the various states’ representatives that visited Maricopa’s ‘Gold Standard’ process will compel a forensic review of their respective state’s result to root out the corruption inherent in ALL the ‘irregularities’.

Your article states The board of supervisors in Maricopa County authorized the audit! This is 100% incorrect. It was our republican senators who ordered the forensic audit. The BOS were horribly uncooperative in every way possible. But thank God for His plans and for our senators who listened to their constituents. God brought together an amazing team. There was no question this was His idea from the start.
The audit started 4/22 and we packed everything up 7/2. The data has been collected and now the actual audit will begin. Please pray for those responsible for compiling this data and presentIng the results to America. My husband and I worked double shifts 6 days a week for the whole time and it was amazing. The presence of the Lord was alive and well in the Veterans Memorial Coliseum. We even had a prayer wall! Twenty states visited the facility during the two months. We pray other states will get on board and follow AZ example.

Dear Lord God, we lift up the state of PA to you and ask you to remove the covering of darkness from this state. Expose all the corruption of the 2020 election, cleanse the cities of Philadelphia and Harrisburg and Pittsburgh and others, please remove the people in the PA Government who do not regard your ways, and replace them with godly men and women to serve, and to bring back the ways of the original covenant that was made with you, almighty God, for our country.

We all know that the November 2020 election was a phony as a three dollar bill. I am so glad to hear that these “irregularities” have been uncovered in Arizona. I am glad to hear that Republicans in Pa., my home state, wish to do the same uncovering. I truly hope and pray that this comes to pass. My main question is, if all the election fraud throughout the country is exposed, what will be done about it? Are judges in our justice system, including the Supreme Court , going to have the integrity and courage to rule with honesty and integrity? Or will they be bought and sold ? Time will tell. Lord Jesus, once again, we desperately need Your intervention in the affairs of men. We pray for Your perfect will to be done.
