From The Washington Free Beacon: The Pentagon is slated to host an event on Wednesday making “the case for global justice and democratic socialism” as a means to combat China’s rise, sparking ire on Capitol Hill.
The event, titled, “Responding to China: The Case for Global Justice and Democratic Socialism,” is being hosted by the Institute for National Strategic Studies, a department of the National Defense University, the Pentagon’s top policy shop. The event is open to the public and will be held on the Pentagon’s Strategic Multilayer Assessment platform, a Defense Department initiative that studies global challenges, according to an invitation for the event posted online
Featured speaker Thomas Piketty, a French economist, “will argue that the right answer” to addressing China’s rise “lies in ending Western arrogance and promoting a new emancipatory and egalitarian horizon on a global scale, a new form of democratic and participatory, ecological and post-colonial socialism,” according to the event invitation. “If they stick to their usual lecturing posture and a dated hyper-capitalist model, Western countries may find it extremely difficult to meet the Chinese challenge.” Piketty is the author of the book Time for Socialism.
The event, which was first reported by the Conservative Brief, is raising eyebrows on Capitol Hill, with Rep. Jim Banks (R., Ind.), a top Republican on the House Armed Services Committee, telling the Washington Free Beaconthat the Biden administration is politicizing America’s military.
“Thanks to Joe Biden, our military is more political than ever and the world is less stable than it’s been in decades,” Banks said. “The Pentagon has a lot on its plate. They need to focus on their mission: keeping all Americans safe from foreign threats…”
“Sometimes I think we care more about whether we have enough diversity officers than if we’ll survive a fight with the Chinese navy,” one lieutenant on active duty told congressional investigators in the report. “It’s criminal. They think my only value is as a black woman. But you cut our ship open with a missile and we’ll all bleed the same color.”
The study also found “there was a broad consensus across interviewees on numerous cultural and structural issues that impact the morale and readiness of the Navy’s surface force. These include: an insufficient focus on warfighting skills, the perception of a zero-defect mentality accompanied by a culture of micromanagement, and over-sensitivity and responsiveness to modern media culture…”
Sen. Roger Wicker (R., Miss.) and colleagues on the Senate Armed Services Committee additionally disclosed on Tuesday that the military has spent six million man-hours on “woke” training under the Biden administration.
The trainings were held after the Pentagon issued a controversial “stand down” order on Feb. 5, 2020, to address extremism in its ranks. In total, U.S. service members have spent 5,889,082 man-hours on discussions about extremism and “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” training, which the GOP leaders say is part of a leftist attempt to promote liberal ideologies in the military.
“We face real threats across the world, yet the Biden administration is more focused on promoting its leftist social agenda in the military instead of countering China, Russia and Iran or creating an effective counterterrorism plan,” Wicker and his colleagues said in a statement. “Our military is not an extremist organization, and our service members, by and large all good people, are dedicated, faithful patriots.”

I think the Military, because of it’s power had to be brought under the thumb of the left in order to be used against, “We the People. ” So the propaganda training had to start. They had to change the minds of those serving. They use divide and conquer tactics. If you support liberty and Conservative values, if necessary they will cut you out of the military. If they want to at some point bring the military against everyday Americans they can’t have people within the ranks saying no, I won’t do that. Thus, the propaganda thinking.
Americans have been nieve and can’t conceieve that their military could be used against them. I believe that is the plan, otherwise why would all this division and woke training be necessary?
As people of prayer their are many things we should pray for.
We must in my opinion through prayer ask our Father in Heaven to allow those of us who love him to find the words to open the eyes and hearts of people who are lost and confused in todays world. To share Gods love with them. The more who know God and his Son Jesus Christ, the less gullible they are. The more confident they will be when strange world events take place. Pray to strengthen the conviction of those in the Military to withstand the evil coming at them through wokeness ,which is nothing more than a lie from the enemy to help overthrow our country. Pray for their leaders to withstand the training which divides the ranks and pray for the troops who are trying to do the job of protecting our country. All this makes them vulnerable. They must follow the orders given by their superior officers. Let these officers be men of God, not pawns of Satan. In Christs’ name we pray Amen

Put confusion into the camp of the enemy and garble their speech and communication. Free up the attendees to think for themselves. I cancel the assignment of this program. Reveal it as folly, in Jesus’s Name. Amen
People have been brainwashed, bought off, and secretly placed in position in all levels of the military and government. There are foxes in the hen house. We must continue to fast and pray and seek God for strategies.

The military is no place for socialist indoctrination! (Nor are our schools! Nor anyplace else in America!) Democrats need to be turned out of office–soon! The left went after President Trump to impeach him with no evidence of wrongdoing. For the life of me I can’t understand why No one is bringing Biden up on multiple charges of treason for his many known, documented, and published betrayals to our nation and we, the people, and the many dangerous situations he is putting us in. In the past if you ran for office you had to sign an affidavit that you are not a socialist, and we allow Biden and other democratic socialists and enemies of our country to remain in office?
Having been in the Army at and during the crash of moral and discipline after Viet Nam, I can say that was a bad time for America. Now, with the Lt. Fuzz cadre in charge of our forces, the moral, discipline, and readiness has cascaded far below when Sgts, and Lts were being thrown out of 3rd floor windows in wall lockers, gangs were intact and in place, and the NCO’s were demeaned by Lt’s who assumed the duties of the NCO’s.
My son tried to join the Navy but there were some weird gliches that kept him out. After reading this, I have no doubt it was God’s doing; he would not have responded well to this brainwashing & probably would’ve been dishonorably discharged!!
Could this be in preparation for having the military go against the citizens, especially patriots? I have no doubt.

They are simply encouraging their own religion in the government. Under a different name of course, while they attempt to maintain a so called separation of religion and state.

I tried to tell the brass back when women were only allowed to be 10% of the Navy population that it was going the wrong direction. They gave me silly, cute excuses! Thank GOD it was also a time when homosexuals were serving but not openly. My command tried to put me in a barracks room with 2 lesbians, I told them to put me in a room with 2 men instead, because 1, they treated and gave me more respect and 2, I knew how to deal with them! Every time I had to work with a lesbian within a matter of a few minutes they would start talking about their sexual exploits, and would try to get cheap feels, the men don’t do that neither do the other straight females! They push their way constantly! They can’t get to our generation, so they went after our children!
What has our nation become? We don’t need to worry about outsiders destroying our many freedoms…I feel it has been proven that our very own people in this country are destroying our freedoms from within. We must take back our country before we are a 3rd world nation and a socialist nation as well. Most of our so-called leaders are part of the take down of our nation and are following the “agenda” to socialism. GOD is our only Hope to enlighten those who want to change our nation to the evilness of socialism.

Churches are not about sitting in a pew and some poor Preacher up front literally killing themselves striving to keep that building and congregation inching forward. Every one of us can have a personal relationship to Jesus, no holds barred. With nothing and no-one in-between. Then each one of us is a church! Then, come together and that Pastor don’t have to do all the heavy lifting!!! For all of you still showing up to church, still doing that for Jesus in any capacity- you are still better than me, because that’s the ideal- each body an individual co-equal temple of God, coming together to rock the walls off with Worship Praise and THANKS to Our God!!! This is not acceptable! It’s time for all representatives in both houses to stand up to the communism taking over our country! Hosting an event to promote “democratic socialism” is like investing cyanide to combat the effects of cancer. This is not stupidity we witness – it is deliberate treason.
This is a very public example of how our military is being weakened and destroyed from within – no need to fight a physical war if you can brainwash your enemy to adopt your point of view and join you – having them surrender the way of life they were trained and sworn in to protect and defend. Remember, many people have given their lives, beginning with the Revolutionary War, so that this country might survive and live as a bastion of freedom (which is why people still come here from all over the world). Lay all this at the church house door. Revival-few if any Christians know anything about. How bad does it have to get before the church wakes up?

I am disappointed at the focus of diversity in this administrative staff. While many think this is good, why is incorrect to appoint the most qualified person? When did we stop serving the people who elected us and start serving the agendas? I pray that someone in this administration, steps up and stops this haenus agenda.
