Jon Erwin, one of the Erwin Brothers, brought a rough cut of their upcoming film Jesus Revolution, about the Jesus Movement, to the Christian Worldview Film Festival, which we covered last month. In this footage Jon introduces the film and then Stephen Kendrick, one of the Kendrick Brothers, invites the film festival to pray over him. Phillip Telfer, founding director, leads the prayer.

My sister-in-law, who is not a believer and falls for many of the lefts lies, made a comment “people need to return to going to church.” It took my breath. But as she continued, I realized she believes it is for others and not for her as she is a “good person”. She is deluded. I think many in our country feel the same way. May this film and others show these “good people” how much they need Jesus and bring about the salvation of many souls!!
Jesus came to us, our Savior on the cross, to set us free. We pray that He’d crucify the heart of governmental personnel whose agenda is to divide this country economically and spiritually. Let America be protected from decisions and plans to divide her. Set the heart if our government to turn 360 degrees in order to bring God’s plans forward. Let us value the rights we have through God’s justice and peace planned.
Christianity in Texas is built upon a strong foundation we have watched the Lord move on our behalf on many occasions. this is a new day and all of us are praying for the presence of the Lord to increase and for the rest of us to humble ourselves before him and allow his glory to bring the wounded the angry he alienated and the bitter back home to him I pray we never get in his way but always provide that channel for his love and his spirit to move through us to bring people back home.
Lord, bring forth your fruit from this film unto another Jesus Revival and Revolution and Renewal. Reap a harvest of souls for the Savior. Woo them with the Savior’s song, O Lord, that their eyes are opened, their ears hear and they turn, repent and come into the Kingdom. In Jesus’ Name. Amen and Amen
So excited to see this film when it comes out! Such a blessing to see the Spirit of God moving and artists with their gifts bringing forth biblical stories. Praying for a huge attendance and revolution of people coming to God from seeing this movie!
