The House of Representatives on Friday passed a bill that would bar states from restricting abortions if it is also passed by the Senate and signed into law.
The House voted mostly along party lines to pass H.R. 3755, also known as the Women’s Health Protection Act of 2021…
All Republicans voted no except for two members who did not vote.
The bill says abortion services are a constitutional right, as decided…in Roe v. Wade, but that access to abortion “has been obstructed across the United States in various ways,” including by state laws.
It also says that health care providers can carry out abortions with virtually no limitations or requirements, a provision aimed at pre-empting new state laws and superseding some current ones…
According to the bill’s authors, states have introduced over 500 restrictions on abortion since 2011 alone, with 90 passed since the start of this year, including a measure in Texas that bars most abortions after six weeks.
“It’s clear that we need one unified federal response to all of these attacks,” Chu said.
Republicans criticized the bill on the House floor, arguing it went too far…
Forty-eight Democrats are listed as cosponsors for the Senate version…
Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine), who is generally supportive of abortion access, told the Los Angeles Times…that…the House bill because it goes “way beyond” codifying the Supreme Court’s decision in Roe v. Wade…
The bill would need 60 votes in the upper chamber to clear the filibuster.

What about babies constitutional rights!
When my mother was thirty- seven years old she gave brith to me unmarried. It was a very scandals situation for the time in 1955. She was seeing a man that was separated from his wife in the process of a divorce. He ended up reconciling with his wife. She was left holding the bag and inside it was me. In my life time she must have told me over a thousand times if abortion was legal in 1955 you would have been aborted. My mom had means and had an appointment with a doctor for an abortion. She prayed and felt God told her NO. Here I am 66 years old and in the last year I realize laws my not stop abortion. I am praying for the wombs of women. I am praying the wombs of women become a safe place for the pre born.
It is no surprise that the house, which is a democrat stronghold, would put forth such a heinous violation of the constitution and states’ rights. I just continue to pray against the unrighteous laws and executive orders that pour out of the current evil legislators.
Father, in Jesus’s Name,
I bind a spirit of fabrications and lying rhetoric to bring confusion into the House of Representatives and the Senate.
We know that satan’s tactic from the beginning was to “ twist “ the truth. We know that this brought confusion to Eve concerning what God has said.
We know that jealousy and selfish ambition create confusion (disorder) ….
(James 3:16). There seems to be so much of this twisting and turning, creating false rhetoric and story lines that throws our Constitution under the bus.
I pray for all in our Congress to get their heads out of the smoke and mirrors, the confusion, the strife, and “ the way that seems right, but the ends thereof are the ways of death”.
Lord, you told us to pray for those in authority, for kings, etc. So I am praying, help these people to be drawn to you, deliver them from evil, confusion, disorder and lying tongues; show them the path of life, in Jesus’s Name amen.
Those people in Congress heed to know that what they are proposing is totally against the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution. But I guess they don’t care because “the end justifies the means.” Pray that their eyes will be opened to the truth or that they be removed from office!
Dear God, I ask You first to forgive my sin, and may I honor You always. I beg you, God to please intervene on behalf of the unborn babies who might be aborted. Please open the eyes of the mothers who are thinking of abortion; please show them that there is a better way, and that abortion is NOT the answer. And God, for the hundreds of little babies who are aborted in the U.S. every day, please welcome them into Your loving arms. Please forgive our country for allowing abortion to go on. May it one day come to an end!

These people have ‘No fear of GOD before their eyes’. They will burn in the Lake of Fire for Eternity, unless they repent. Roe v Wade since Jan 20’73 [a week after my wife & I were married] has put a cursed mantle on our nation. Until the destruction of innocent ones in their mothers’ wombs is deemed unconstitutional, reversing the totally corrupt decision of 9 men who have all died and gone to Hell, this cursed malpractice will demand Divine Judgment… blood for blood. As we all know- when our lives are not surrendered to the Grace of GOD through the LORD Jesus Christ,, we are under the Law which demands an eye for an eye.
GOD is Ultimately Patient… but will not hold America guiltless, especially when the ‘church’ turned a blind eye when prayer & the Holy Bible were removed from our schools in the early 1960’s [See David Barton’s classic: ‘America: To Pray or not to Pray’]. Our American society has gone downhill ever since; every metric shows a slide into evil and depravity. There was also silence in professing Christians when abortion was legalized, which lead the lost into a blindness of so-called ‘women’s reproductive rights’ which amounts to murder! Isaiah 60:1-5 is our Clarion Call… We MUST be united in fervent intercession with the full expectation that our GOD will transform deceived hearts, AND cause the Holy Fear of the LORD to overwhelm their lives until they repent or be cast into perdition. Let us agree with His Divine Will… before it’s too late!

I am so encouraged by today’s prayer call when I heard Jody say that we have prayed for the over turning of Roe v Wade for 50 years…for those of us who follow the Jewish calendar and feasts of our Lord know that this is a Shmita year (a Jubilee year), on the Jewish calendar… “year of release” also known as the sabbatical year. Today is the last day of The Feast of Tabernacles…let us enter into this Sabbatical year that our prayers for Roe v Wade (and America & the nations), is going to release power from above and Roe v Wade and all evil agendas will be overturned and especially this evil bill that passed in the house this past Friday will be dead on arrival of the Senate floor! Dear Heavenly Father I pray, thanking you first of all that the Democrats do not have the votes to pass this bill. And ask you that Senators Bob Casey and Lisa Murkowski will vote no righteously, and according to your will.

I was a kid when Roe vs Wade was sanctioned by the Supreme Court. My parents applauded this. Dear God, open the eyes of the blind who are perpetrators of this evil. Later on my mother told my sister that she would have been aborted if the law was in effect when she was born. Words hurt. Jesus we are living in a world that has much evil. We need your guidance, we need You to work through us to bring another great awakening. You are the only hope for this country. I know that one day every knee will bow and tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord! At one time our country understood this for the most part. Now we are the enemy of freedom. We need you to fill us to overflowing of your Holy Spirit. We need You to speak to others who don’t know You to show them a better way. I praise you that my parents were saved 2 days before they died. I praise You that my sister now also serves you. We once were blind, but now we see. Please use us to open the eyes of the blind!
Your words spoke to me Ellen. I was once so wicked but thought myself enlightened, I was blind. Yes, words do hurt but as I type this, I remember John 1 and say thank You Jesus Christ for overcoming the darkness in Elle, her parents, her sister…and me. Father in heaven. You know the thoughts and intentions behind this horrible practice in our country. People are deceived. The God of this age has indeed blinded the minds of the unbelievers. I pray for the doctors who are choosing to perform these abortions. May you open their eyes and their hearts. May they refuse to kill these babies. I pray for our leaders that they will come to their senses and escape the trap of the devil who has taken them captive to do his will. Forgive us for the times we have not acted and expressed our objections strongly to our leaders. Forgive us for failing to pray for and help the women who are deceived and who think that what is growing inside is not a person. Help those women who might be hard hearted. Please help those who know they do not want to bear children find another means to prevent pregnancy. But how dare our leaders put forth this legislation. How dare anyone vote to kill a baby. The abortion clinics are aborting the new members of society. Talk to the babies and say it isn’t so! Roe vs. Wade is going to be overturned. We have prayed about this.
The Supreme Court has already ruled in favor of Texas. I think some of them need a Civics course. They can’t over rule the courts.
Lord, your Word says that when the enemy comes in like a flood, you raise up a a standard against him, so we are asking that you intervene in a huge way in regard to this legislation. Please show yourself strong in behalf of the unborn, moving on the hearts of senators to turn them toward righteousness rather than to what is culturally acceptable at this point. We are grateful that you have not abandoned your throne,that your rule is in no way threatened by those who rebel against truth, and we praise you that you are all powerful, able to improve or remove leaders whose agenda is ungodly. You are the Lord Almighty, creator and sustainer of all that is, and we look to you to fight this battle that looms large. Our eyes are upon you and our hope is in you. Thank you that you are still at work in the affairs of men and that, ultimately, you are the victor.
Lord God—I pray for all those in our governing bodies that voted for the atrocities in this piece of legislation. Break their hearts with the things that break Yours. Speak LOUDLY to them—through the people in their lives, through believers and their constituents that they are supposed to be representing, through dreams and whatever other way You can reach into their deepest being. Let these individuals feel the WEIGHT of this decision and the great harm and evil it brings. Let the weight be so heavy that they HAVE to bend their knee and depend on YOU.
I pray for all the sweet babies that already these kinds of decisions have impacted. I pray for their moms and dads that are coping with heartache that only You can heal.
DO MIRACLES. Please stop this evil, God. We want to rest in Your life and love, not be chained to this horrible, horrible evil.

God open the eyes of some who are blinded and remove those who know exactly what they are doing and have zero shame concerning their actions..
They have completely bowed to the enemy and are sick individuals..
Stop this bill in the Senate
and bring “life” back to our country once again and completely remove the culture of ” death” that has enveloped our country.
