Should social media platforms be weighing in on who they do or don’t support in conflicts around the globe? Whether you think they should or shouldn’t doesn’t really matter, because Big Tech companies like Facebook are going to do whatever they want, and they’ll say they’re doing it in the best interests of its users — which clearly isn’t the case most times.

Facebook weighed in again this week as it reportedly shut down the pro-Israel page for the “Jerusalem Prayer Team (JPT),” which had “more than 75 million followers,” according to CBN News.
However, leaders of the group are saying that the removal of the page came as the result of a concerted effort by “radical Islamists.” . . .
CBN News reported the following about the alleged radical Islamic attacks that got the JPT page taken down:
First was a direct campaign to take the page down. Many posts on Facebook and YouTube directed people on how to go in and report the JPT Facebook page to Facebook and how to pressure Facebook for allowing the JPT page to exist on their platform.
The second attack came as a disinformation campaign that Facebook created the JPT Page during the current conflict and is forcing people to like it even when they don’t. . . .
Whatever the case may be, the JPT page on Facebook is no longer — at least for now. . . .

I agree with Pauline. As Christians and people concerned about the overreach of big tech we should not be supporting them. It’s time to put our “money” where our mouths are and stop using and supporting Facebook, Twitter, Amazon, Coke, and many more woke corporations. We have power, but how many of you are willing to declare that we are not going to “dance with the devil”? Instead of Amazon I am supporting local businesses that are trying to make a comeback after the shutdowns. Sure it’s inconvenient and it might cost a little more, but if we all did it it would send a strong message to “the powers that be” that their power is no match to the power of God through His people.
Facebook also blocked our video regarding prayer for Israel. After the first day when we had 100s of comments and views, suddenly all views and comments stopped – nothing! These Tech companies are really getting scary and operating just like Nazis! They must be held to account or we no longer have a free nation.
Facebook is going down..watch.
When people hate what God loves ( Israel),
eventually they will love what God hates.
Facebood and others will go down. we keep praying, what is godly will always prevail.
Why don’t Christians stop using Facebook? Surely, Facebook isn’t that important to you. If it is, then it’s too important! The same goes for any of the Big tech companies…..YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, etc. They are slapping Christians and Jews in the face, daily, and very few say, “ENOUGH!” As for me, I am done! I’ve never had Facebook to begin, with but I’m finished with all of them!
If Facebook, etc., haven’t done enough to hurt all of us and you still don’t get it, then, I’m not sure what it would take to wake you up!!
As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!
I agree with many of the comments posted concerning Facebook. I became familiar with Facebook about 15 years ago because every time my boss got on Facebook (using my computer) I would have to call I our geek squad to rid it of virus and malware. It was then I swore I would never use it and I haven’t.
I found out going directly to websites and speaking directly with friends and family on phone that I can touch other people’s lives as they do mine without the “3rd party” monitoring me.
The Jerusalem Prayer Team, headed by Mike Evans, is a great organization and I have been supporting them for years. I do get their magazine and I go directly to their website to get updates.
If those 75 million people would suddenly desert Facebook in protest don’t you think that would make a huge impact. I’m amazed at the number of people who complain about Facebook and Twitter but continue to use it.
Surely there is a tech genius out here who can create another method Christians can use to finally benefit us and our Christian faith.
No one can shut God down !!
Yes, prayer to YHWH, is a major priority to stop if the unbelievers could. This Facebook turn off of their page is obviously a big upSet to us.
Father God is opening up other avenues, that do not have these controls- we need to use these opportunities!! But let us pray for Believer’s working at Facebook: Father God, You know where all of Your children are, always, I pray for Your children that work at Facebook all over the world- that The Lord My Strength – I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me , would be the spiritual fuel for them to be bold & work within that company to release and reopen the Jerusalem Prayer Team Facebook page, immediately! In Jeshua’s name I pray. Amen!!!
It’s completely clear that the fallen ones in the spirit realm HATE prayer, because our prayers empower the Holy Angels of YHVH GOD. The supporters of the Palestinians ignore the reality of the many concessions made to this group over decades going back to the 70’s. It’s obvious that this group is a pawn in the hands of terrorists and terrorist regimes like Iran.

documents ever written. A nation “under God”. Facebook will suffer a “Grand Fall”. God will see to this if

Christians should not be on Facebook including church’s. Money should not be their God!!!
What does reading Facebook have to do with money being god? I like to see pictures of my grandkids.
This is SO WRONG! Facebook needs to be shut down or taken to court and be fined for its censoring. They take this page down but allow the Israel hating pack of Congresswomen to spread their hatred of Israel calling them terrorists and nothing is done.
Father, our enemies plan, scheme, act and appear successful. They do not fear your wrath, they do not fear You. Oh, Lord first and foremost we pray for their souls. We pray that they would repent and come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. My heart weeps for them as they are so lost. My righteous indignation towards their plans and seeming success…I lift to you. For you alone are righteous and will deal with them accordingly. Our God is not stopped or blocked by the closure of a web page! We pray that the page get reinstated if it is your will. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem. We know that our God is greater…help us to go forth in boldness to proclaim even louder and with more conviction that Jesus is Lord. That at the name of Jesus eventually every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord!
