Prominent conservative and evangelical figures from across the country implored Sen. McConnell to vote against the Respect for Marriage Act.
From CBN News. Members representing more than 80 religious and conservative groups sent a letter to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell last week asking him to oppose a same-sex marriage bill.
Pray for your fellow intercessor.
The “Respect for Marriage Act” measure gives federal recognition to same-sex and interracial marriage and prohibits any state from denying out-of-state marriage licenses and benefits on the basis of sex, race, ethnicity, or national origin….
Some of the signatures on the letter include: Michael Farris of Alliance Defending Freedom, Kelly Shackelford with First Liberty Institute, Thomas Farr of the Religious Freedom Institute, Franklin Graham with Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Kevin Roberts of the Heritage Foundation, Tony Perkins of Family Research Council, Penny Nance of Concerned Women for America, Rabbi Yoel Schonfeld of the Coalition for Jewish Values, and Mat Staver with Liberty Counsel….
The signatories also warned that the Respect for Marriage Act “aims to shut down any disagreement, silencing those with the long-held conviction that marriage between one man and one woman is essential to human flourishing, a view that has existed from the dawn of time.”
Even though the bill has gained support from dozens of House Republicans, it’s seen as unlikely to pass the Senate, which is split 50-50….

In Genesis it clearly say: God created one man, one woman not extra genders. These genders I think now is about (9) of them, question who created them?? God only meant for this creation to be so a family couldbe created. Theses gender creations and gender words were promotional skills of Satan who is a true Demonic Spirit. He is good at creating lies and people fall for them. That is why we must learn to use Gods (word) The Bible to take Authority over Satan, Jesus gave us complete authority over all in the earth especially the Demonic spirits. Start praying for God to change these children, grown men, women who believe in the garbage that Satan dumps on people who does not have Gods spirit.
Father, I join with those who are praying this bill will not pass. Touch each Senator’s heart to see the damage this bill could do. May this bill be defeated.
Father, at this critical time in the history of this country, help us to keep watch and not let down our guard regarding this bill. Some more conservative senators are caving and talking about voting for this bill. We beseech You, Lord of heaven and earth, that You would visit every Senator with a dream, a vision, an angel, so that each one would hear from You. Prick their consciences. Soften hard hearts. Narrow liberal unbiblical views. Let them see the possible consequences of voting for this bill. Lord, help each senator to comprehend what it means to stand up for biblical marriage. Give them courage and conviction to do what is right in Your sight. I thank You for coming to our aid in this matter. Deliver us from evil, O Lord our God and Savior. Amen.
