Encountering the power, presence, and peace of the Holy Spirit personally is transformative. But encountering the power, presence, and peace of the Holy Spirit corporately — with thousands of believers together under the stars at an all-night praise-and-worship burn — is nothing less than HEAVEN ON EARTH! That is what nearly 5,000 believers were able to experience from 7 p.m. on Friday, July 22, until 7 a.m. Saturday, July 23, in Athens, Texas.

A few months ago the Lord exposed a tap root for the legalization of abortion in America in a tiny rural Texas town approximately 90 minutes southeast of Dallas. It was in this region roughly half a century ago that, before Roe, a doctor had performed over 10,000 abortions on women from around the nation. The blood of these babies soaking this land and creating the stench of death was the reason A NIGHT FOR LIFE was orchestrated. This event, inspired by the Holy Spirit, had as its sole purpose the lifting of the Person of LIFE, JESUS CHRIST, in the corporate praises of God’s people.
The town of Athens, with its population of just over 12,000, was an unlikely spot for such a massive convergence of worshipers. But the Guest of Honor, the precious HOLY SPIRIT, showed up — drawing over 3,500 people here to the presence of God on earth! An additional 1,100 joined in virtually, bringing the total number of participants to upwards of 4,600. More than 35% of the entire population of Athens covered the landscape surrounding the outdoor stage at Athens Life Fellowship — resembling perhaps what one might imagine the hillsides of the Sermon on the Mount would have looked like. You truly had to be there to fully grasp the awe-inspiring spectacle of that many people making their way to a remote area for the sole purpose of worshiping God and seeing the dominion of death bow down to the Person of LIFE!
The testimonies of deliverance, healing, and salvation continue to pour forth and may never be fully known, but one impact that was both immediate and obvious is the level of unity this event has birthed. The local ministry of Love Thy Neighbor, founded as an attempt to bring forth unity among the local pastors, churches, and ministries, had struggled and seen sparse engagement and interest. The Sunday night immediately following A NIGHT FOR LIFE, however, brought an entirely different response: Wall-to-wall attendance almost overflowing into the hallways would previously have been inexplicable, but now it was the clear and undeniable fruit of A NIGHT FOR LIFE.
The goal of AWAKENING ARISE, the ministry that organized this event, is to call forth the next Great Awakening! Witnessing the level of unity among the body of Christ being birthed from this night of prayer and praise has lit a spark. The prayer now is for this spark to spread far and wide.
Other communities around the nation are reaching out to AWAKENING ARISE to have similar events planned to light this spark within their region of the country. There is a realization that God is truly lighting the fires of revival around our nation in this season of confusion and chaos. All the efforts of the enemy to cast our nation into the throes of darkness can and will be dispelled by the radiant light of the presence of the Most High! Rejoice with us as we continue to believe for and call forth the next GREAT AWAKENING!

Like Phineas we drive a stake in the ground and say “No more to the lies of the enemy and all his perversions! He can no longer prowl around devouring our youth and babies. I stand against him armed with the Holy Spirit of the King of Heaven’s armies! In the name of Jesus. Amen.”
Thank you, Jesus for inspiring these people to honor you in such a special way. I pray we will see many more of these meetings and prayer groups throughout our land as we continue to come out of the darkness of the devil run decades of sin. Thank You, Jesus for giving us salvation once again. Please, Jesus, keep your people intent on spreading your word, even in the so called “civilized” society, as we continue to reach out to the poorest among us. Give us strength Jesus to continue this fight in Your name in every state, every country and for all peoples of this world.
Thank you, Father, for the grace poured out at Athens. May this mark the beginning of a new wave of Holy Spirit visitations coast to coast.

Praise God for His work! He placed in my heart and my Moms In Prayer friend, to organize a 24 hour praise, prayer and fasting event in Holland, Michigan. Prayer warriors would you please pray along with us for BREAKTHROUGH/24? We are working on a date and location. The vision is singing praise to God for 15 minutes followed by 15 minutes of prayer lead by 12 area pastors taking a 2 hour shift each round the clock for 24 hours straight while fasting.
Pouring out hearts like water before Him in praise, repentance, and seeking the restoration only He can bring our community, nation and world. May hearts soften and seek Jesus!
We prayed for the Awakening Arise, Night of Life in Athens, GA at our prayer gathering “300Lions” in Chandler, AZ at the same time on the same night! Holy Spirit is moving across this nation!

What a thrilling testimony of God’s anointing power! Yes, prayer is the answer! Our church (Walnut Ridge Baptist Church, Mansfield, TX) began meeting on Sunday nights in July, 2021 for the sole purpose of praying for God’s anointing power to bring repentance, revival and restoration. Although we only have a faithful remnant participating, we have witnessed God’s indwelling Spirit in the faithful prayers of those committed to His presence. There is no question that America and the world have fallen away from God. And it is my firm belief that 9/11 and the pandemic were warnings from God. During both Old/New Testament days, Israel disobeyed God many, many times and He punished them! But He restored them because He loved them! 2 Chronicles 7:14 definitely applies: “If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves, seek My face, pray and turn from their wicked ways, then, will I heal their land.” Our prayer focus should be on repentance, revival and restoration!

Dear Lord and God, as You did with the few loaves and fishes, please do for David and the other prayer warriors of Walnut Ridge Baptist Church. I pray it will please You to multiply each prayer for repentance, revival and restoration. I pray Your favor is upon them and they KNOW they are the mighty oaks of righteousness, planted by You for Your Glory and their (our) good. I was unable to watch it live because I do not have, nor do I want, a facebook account. I was sorely disappointed that the live stream on facebook, which was supposed to be public, ended up being accessible only to people with facebook accounts.
I did, however, pray and praise during the course of the event.

I am sorry you were unable to join and that you were so disappointed. We learned the hard way that it is very difficult (almost impossible) and costly to livestream an outdoor event for 12 hours. Even then, the connectivity issues are very limited and unreliable. The company we hired did its very best to make it available throughout the night. Perhaps you could add this need to your prayers for future events so others like yourself may join virtually. Thank you so much!

OH YES America is awakening. How excited I am to read this article. As you say, I just read Isaiah 52 where it says AWAKE AWAKE to a small group of people having a Riverside revival in Peshtigo Wisconsin. God brought me to Green Bay Wisconsin,11 years ago to be a part of what God was doing here with the warriors the mighty warriors and the mighty intercessors and the mighty forfronters, for the awakening in this state is so crucial. stationed in Green Bay my assignment to pray with others for Green Bay and the surrounding community has expanded into the state as well, so visiting Peshtigo gave me a new insight to precious people in that area who are Carrying the mandate of God. It was so thrilling to see that that part of Wisc. is alive with the living word and the Holy Spirit leading them. It was a pleasant day with many speakers and music being played, new people to meet, right next to the Peshtigo river. There was an announcement that anyone felt led to speak or give a word, prophecy etc. is most welcome. After a while I felt the stirring and walked up to the microphone and began to speak. At one point I felt so led to read Isaiah 52 and cried out with my voice AWAKE America, AWAKE Wisconsin for there are still those that are sleeping. We have been using this chapter IN Isaiah and a Wednesday morning prayer group that I’ve been in for nine years. So for me to be privileged to visit Peshtigo God is saying look I am answering your prayers, different places in Wisc. is awake and being awakened. And when I cried out Isaiah 52 I didn’t mean it just for Wisc. I meant it for the whole nation. And Texas, I was so thrilled to read this article. It was so so appropriate for the all night Vigil. Oh that we could do something like that here in Green Bay. God is on the move… he’s keeping his promise and he’s fulfilling it. As Dutch Sheets put it the other day, our sword, being held high, we decree America Shall be saved. The great turnaround has begun and it shall finish.!! God bless America,

This is a very encouraging story, and definitely a powerful praise report!If it can happen in this small town in Texas, it can happen in other places as well. Awakening is SO needed in the American Christian church. Lord Jesus, show us how to do our part, knowing that, if we are faithful and dilligent, Miracles, signs, and wonders will follow.
