To exhort his fellow conservatives, Governor Ron DeSantis encouraged Floridians to “be ready for battle” and “put on the full armor of God.”
From Breitbart. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) pointed to scripture to show fellow conservatives how to battle against the radical left and their schemes, urging the crowd to “put on the full armor of God….”

While the governor said it is crucial to be “right” on the issues, that alone is not enough….
“You gotta be ready for battle. So put on the full armor of God,” he said, triggering a round of applause. “Take a stand against the left’s schemes. Stand firm with the belt of truth buckled around your waist. You will face fire from flaming arrows, but the shield of faith will protect you.”
“We’re just getting warmed up. I’ve only begun to fight,” he declared. “I’m standing my ground, walking the line all the way through the finish line, and I can tell you this. With your help and everybody behind us, there is no doubt in my mind that come November, we are going to keep the state of Florida free.”

Here is my prayer. God, please rid us of white, Christian, nationalist scum like DeSantis and Mastriano who pervert faith in you into hatred for much of your creation.
Florida’s Governor speaks truth for all of us. This nation was founded upon faith and trust in God, and so shall it continue to be!! We humbly confess our need for Him cm this and every day. Please cleanse our nation of all that displeases You Lord, and forgive our sins.
He who began a good work in you is faithful to complete it.
And God is faithful to complete the work of standing up for the truth of the gospel which is knowing Jesus as our personal savior.
We shall know the truth and the truth will set us free (Gospel of John 8:31-32.
It’s wonderful that we have a governor in this country who stands up for the Bible. I hope he had some explanatory words for what this meant. The natural man does not welcome the things of God because they are spiritually appraised (I Cor. 2:14).

Father we thank You for Governor DeSantis’ encouraging words and words of warning that are straight from Your heart and Your Word. Continue to give him boldness through Your Holy Spirit, removing all fear and making him courageous in Your Truths, courageous enough to live in them. Help us all do the same…for we need You every wreaking moment!! May Governor DeSantis’ soul find rest in You alone; his salvation comes from You, Lord God, ( Ps. 62:1)… through faith in Christ Jesus the Lord. We thank You God for raising DeSantis up. I pray we break the irons free in Hawaii where my state is controlled by the leftist God hating dems. And the population is asleep to this. They have the mind set to go along to get along.

The armor of God is so important. I have been studying about the armor since I lived on the Rosebud Rez. When the Armor is not put on the day seem to be harder. As Sharen said the Blood is a must along with the armor.

I am not totally convinced De Santis is the man he professes to be. There is something “off” about him. I do believe Christian’s need to put on the full armor of God, but I have yet to hear if DeSantis has professed faith in Jesus Christ. I would be a little more discerning before promoting a man based on using 1 scripture.
Kazzy 53….. I too am careful with what some ‘politicians’ say when it comes to matters of ‘religion’ but, I would refer you to Phillipians 1:18. In the fact that Gov DeSantis is quoting scripture is far and away more than the current occupant of the White House is doing. Him and ANY of his staff or administration!! I’m grateful that God’s name is being invoked in a positive way by the governor. Evil currently resides in this nations White House and we need to proclaim God against this current administration in any way we can.
