Yesterday, Judge James Boasberg, “found probable cause to hold the Trump administration in contempt” over its deportation of migrants to El Salvador. In response, the Trump administration plans to seek “immediate appellate relief.” What will come from this ruling?

AĀ federal judgeĀ said Wednesday that he has found probable cause to hold the Trump administration in contempt for failing to return two planes deporting migrants to El Salvador last month, a major update that comes as tensions between the Trump administration and the judiciary have reached a fever pitch.

In a 48-page order, U.S. District Judge James Boasberg said that the court had determined that the Trump administration had demonstrated a “willful disregard” for his March 15 emergency order, which temporarily halted all deportation flights to El Salvador under the Alien Enemies Act, a 1798 wartime immigration law, to allow the court to better consider the merits of the case.
Boasberg had also ordered all planes bound for El Salvador to be “immediately” returned to U.S. soil ā which did not happen. …
“The Court ultimately determines that the Government’s actions on that day demonstrate a willful disregard for its Order, sufficient for the Court to conclude that probable cause exists to find the Government in criminal contempt,” Judge Boasberg said Wednesday.
Boasberg instructed the government to file additional declarations by April 23 demonstrating why the court should “purge” any contempt proceedings against it. Should they fail to do so, he said, the court will refer the matter for potential prosecution.
That would involve identifying the individuals responsible for what the judge described as “contumacious conduct,” and “determining whose āspecific act or omissionā caused the noncompliance,” Boasberg said in his order. …
“The Court does not reach such conclusion lightly or hastily; indeed, it has given Defendants ample opportunity to rectify or explain their actions,” Boasberg continued, noting that “none of their responses” have been satisfactory to the court.
The Trump administration wasted little time responding to the new court order.
“We plan to seek immediate appellate relief,” White House Communications Director Steven Cheung said in a social media post Wednesday. …
The order is the latest development in the ongoing feud between Trump officials and Judge Boasberg, who drew the administrationās ire last month after temporarily blocking the deportation of certain migrants to El Salvador. …

I know God that this is a spiritual attach of the Devil using rogue judges to counter the President’s executive orders. I pray as we appeal to your heavenly court to give your judgement in this and in other cases where the president has every legal right.

Mr. Garcia has had his due process. Twice, an immigration court determined that he should be deported due to his MS-13 membership. He is also here illegally. He has broken our laws and should be deported like anyone else who has done the same. So what that this judge is a conservative. He’s compromised. “Christians should know better”, really? Are we supposed to be crying crocodile tears for this guy? a gang member and wife beater.

The comments here are sick and sinful. Nobody disputes the truth, not even the Trump administration, that this man was sent out of the country on an administrative error. He was allowed to be in this country and Trump clearly violates the law. It is not the judge who is corrupt but Trump. It is sick to support Trump in this situation. Imagine this was your son who was sent to another country to be tortured for no reason. Imagine it was your grandchildren who had to see their father sent away to be tortured over an error and you watched Christians defend a president who did nothing to end this. Just absolutely sick. And the word is sinful.
As more information comes in, we find that the man in question was indeed an illegal alien, not a citizen, was a member of MS-13, and had been previously accused of spousal abuse. He is a citizen of the country in which he is now appropriately incarcerated.
If ANY of that is true, then why not bring him back, put him on trial and let the world see that what Trump is doing is a good thing. But.. that won’t happen because neither you nor Trump want him on trial where the truth would come out. You know, Christians believe in a day of judgement where we will have to stand before Jesus and give an account of our life and the things we said and did.
It absolutely is not sick for people to support this President for his actions. This is not an innocent father. He was credibly accused of being an MS 13 gang member and had a restraining order placed against him by his wife for violence against her. These gang members contribute to the death and misery of thousands of Americans with drugs and violence. Where is the compassion for your fellow citizens? Instead you come on wagging your finger at people like myself who are so glad to have an answer to prayers with a President who is actually doing something about this.
He was NOT credibly accused of being a gang member. And again, if you believe that, bring him back, give him a trial, that would be the just thing to do. The judge did nothing wrong here, Trump has. And to say otherwise is sick. I am an Evangelical Christian. I work with people from all over the world, I talk about Jesus, talk about my faith, have conversations with people all the time about Jesus. When my Evangelical Christian friends that support Trump join in, the conversation is over because Evangelicals supporting Trump are simply not seen as intelligent, serious people. Outsiders can see that it is obvious that supporting morally corrupt president is contrary to the Bible. Judgement is coming for compromising the gospel to support Trump. The scandal of the gospel is believing in resurrection, not supporting immoral politicians.

Judge Boasberg needs to be impeached NOW for bias and unprofessional conduct. The courts in general need a housecleaning of rogue biased judges.

I am almost afraid to write anything for fear of saying something I would regret about our justice system and Mr. Boasberg in general. He and many persons like him are the reason our justice system and many other things in the federal system are so messed up. Things are so deeply entrenched that it is taking very strong wills and very concerted efforts to return our government to the intentions of our founding Fathers.

Lord of all creation and Judge of the whole earth – You hear our cries for justice and righteousness to prevail in our nation. Case in point, judge Boasberg and our court system that has been weaponized to serve evil agendas – please grant strategies to SCOTUS, Congress, legal teams, and any others You can mobilize to deal with this issue and activate them. We need a drastic overhaul!!
Where is Congress? Boasberg needs to be removed from office due to malfeasance. Impeachment is impossible due to the Democrats’ own malfeasance (lockstep political voting regardless of the merits), RINOS, and the necessity of a 2/3 vote. Removal due to malfeasance requires a simple majority.
Judicial ethics committees? Who will be the first to file a complaint against Boasberg, looking toward removal from the bench and possible disbarment. Typically, the complainant must have “standing” in the case.
This court case is a moot point. The criminal is back in his home country incarcerated.
USA has no more jurisdiction. El Salvador does not plan to give up this citizen/prisoner. The case is now in the absurd realm. Stop it now!
This looks like another issue that needs to be adjudicated by SCOTUS. When this takes place, Lord Jesus, I pray for Your will to be done. I also pray for this misguided Judge Boasberg. The SCOTUS did adjudicate telling him he had no jurisdiction in this case. Yet, his ego refuses to obey the SCOTUS.
I believe that it is interesting that one may have contempt toward anyone else for their words or behavior, but not for a judge of any rank. This should not be.
Actually, I do hold Judge Boasberg in contempt, but my ruling holds no power. What he should fear is that YHVH may hold him in contempt, and that is a serious matter.

SCOTUS Chief Justice John Roberts wrote recently that impeachment is not appropriate for judge Boasberg. There are at least two judges with compromised status, one being NY state judge Marchan with his daughter working for a NGO, and judge Boasberg with his daughter working for a NGO. Conflict of interest, bias from the bench, unprofessional conduct seem to be reasonable criteria to impeach both of those judges NOW. Roberts isn’t the “brightest bulb in the string” anyway….also compromised.

The judge only has power over his district and not over the executive branch of the US Government.
