I Prayed have prayed
Lord God, please open our eyes to the many ways You are at work in our nation, our states, our communities, and our lives. Thank You for who You are and what You do.
Reading Time: < 1 minute

We want to hear your testimonies!

Where have you heard the voice of the Holy Spirit?

What civic engagement have you seen or done in your community?

What do you want to celebrate and praise God for this past year?

Post your answers in the comments so that the IFA community can celebrate what God has done, AND so that we can encourage each other, AND so that we can remind ourselves of the goodness of God and the hope He gives for tomorrow!

(Special thanks to intercessor Peggy for this idea.)

This Christmas we celebrated our 50th year of doing a Live Nativity Scene at our City Hall. God has been faithful in providing what we need to continue to share His Christmas Gospel message to over 1,000 people each year. Many have told us what a blessing it has been to them and their family. To God be the glory!

About a week ago, I woke up from a dream hearing these words speaking to my spirit “Come on; Let’s go get your miracle!”
Yes! LET’S!!!

As president of Clay Family Policy Alliance (a 501(c)3 organization in Clay County Florida), I led the production of the Survey Questions and ultimately the production of the voter guide on local races in our county. Included are questions on issues that are important to conservative voters. The Survey Questions are returned to us in order to compare the answers of candidates for each given race highlighting differences on the voter guide. Our cover letter to the candidate explains that we will print “Chose Not to Respond” if they do not wish to participate. In 2022, we mailed the CFPA voter guide to 17,500 Super Voter households about 29,000 voters. Founded in 2006, we distributed 20,000 voter guides to churches each of the 7 past election years. In January 2020 (before the pandemic) God led us to reorganize the group as a 501 (c)3 organization in order to afford a mailout of the Voter Guides to Super Voters. (We educate voters; we do not endorse candidates.) With many churches in our county just starting to meet again in June 2020 after the shutdowns, we would not have been as successful distributing them if God had not led us to distribute the voter guides by mail. Our funds allowed us to mail 13,500 voters guides that first year to Super Voters.
We are supported both in prayer and financially by like-minded people. God has always supplied the funding that is needed (even when the price of paper almost doubled this year). Our website (clayvotes.com) has the Survey Questions and Voter Guide available to those who want to read each candidates entire questionnaire.

This year I signed up with IFA to pray for the State of Kansas every Sunday afternoon for 30 minutes. God has lead me to pray over past sins and curses that have come from past generations and to bring healing to our land. To pray against the abortion legislation that has made abortion readily available to people from other states. I will continue to pray as God leads me into the new year. We are all in this together through Christ. It is exciting to see and hear how God is moving.

I opened my own busy this year after Gods prompting 2 years ago. I trust His plan fully and can’t wait to see what I’m supposed to do for him in 2023!

It has been an honor to pray with IFA Ohio. I also serve at a prolife pregnancy center where we have seen many babies saved, including those from women who thought they wanted an abortion but changed their minds. And prayer on my own is so important. May God help each of to engage and serve Him every day.

For the last 3 years I have been in a season of prayer and fasting for America…drawing into the Lord into a deeper relationship with the Father the son and the holy Spirit… I will continue as we go into 2023 and going deeper into the ways of the Lord… Amen

The Lord has led me to go into public schools, a homeless shelter youth center, and other community centers with a support group program I developed called “Beyond the Walls for Kids” specifically for children who have incarcerated or drug addicted family members. I also had 5 children’s books giving children hope and emotional/spiritual support. To God be the glory for the open doors He has provided to minister to these children. 💜✝️

The Holy Spirit said to me one morning, after interceding for our nation, “I will restore all things”!

I signed up, received training, and worked as a poll watcher, for the first time ever, during the midterm election this year.

I want to celebrate the overturn of Roe vs Wade. I also want to celebrate IFA for bringing news I can trust to my life, resources to help me pray, and a community of Intercessors to unite with. I want to celebrate God waking up his Church, and the beginning of a great revival and reformation.

As the State of New Mexico prayer leader, I have seen the beauty of the Lord in answered prayers. Glory to God!
Although we remain a small group that meets on Wednesday night @ 7:00 pm Mountain time, (yes come join us), we have seen many miracles from our tiny group’s prayers, and I am humbled. Many times, we have a mindset that bigger is better, but I have taken solace in the fact that Jesus spoke of the tiny mustard seed as the faith that moves mountains, and so it is with our group. I often think of how when we the leaders join the leaders zoom meetings that the most wonderful conversations are not often found in the larger numbers who attend those meetings but in the smaller groups that they place us in to share our results, and am reminded of the scripture, “where 2 or more are gathered in my name, there I will be also.” It is in the 2 or more where the greatest blessings of prayers are answered. Again, Glory to God! I am content with the 3.4. or 5 that join me every week and dedicate themselves to pray with me, and if God should see fit to add more then praise His Holy Name, either way, I am content and grateful. Amen & Amen.

God has done much in our community. This year we elected Christians to our school board, and re-elected a Christian to our city council. We are continuing to hold outreaches at our city’s First Friday Street Festival setting up our Prayer Station and praying for all who come. The December Festival was a packed out event as so many came for prayer (and Candy kisses wrapped in holiday colors). Prayer actually started before we had the table with the creche set up and red prayer shirts on. It was the culmination of a Wonderful Year orchestrated by Holy Spirit as our prayer table became inter denominational of two churches coming together. I cannot wait to see what God is going to do with the Prayer Station in the coming New Year. And I give all praise and honor to the Heavenly Father as He surely outdid us all the way.

My small city has suffered racial unrest since the 60’s. Churches remain highly segregated…. until next week! Beginning tomorrow evening (Jan.1) and for the next 7 nights, 7 different churches, both black and white, are participating in “Winter Revival: Unity in the Faith.” Black pastors will be preaching at the white churches and white pastors will be preaching at the black churches . Heavenly Father I praise You for this opportunity for the Body of Christ to worship and pray as one and pray it becomes the catalyst for true healing in this little community that has and continues to experience so much turmoil and violence.

Thank you, Lord Jesus, that after 49 years, Roe v Wade was overturned! Hallelujah! Our prayers have been answered in the most wonderful way! We praise your name for your glorious grace and love. It is with great joy that we pray thanks and blessings on the many tireless volunteers committed to ending this blight on our country. We pray thanks and blessings on the many pregnancy resource groups that work round the clock to assist women in making the choice for life. Please, Lord, continue to bless them, to nurture them, to expand their reach to save your blessed children from Satan’s grasp. Guard, guide, & direct these children, their birth family, their new adopted family. Lead them in the path of your righteousness for your Name’s sake. Praise, Jesus! In Jesus holy name, Amen

For the first time in my 69 ears on the planet, I campaigned door to door for a candidate from our church running for the Wisconsin legislature. We met wonderful neighbors and answered sincere questions. I will do this again just to have a pulse on how ordinary folk want to know their representatives personally. God is awakening us to His grand plan.
