I Prayed have prayed
Father, Israel's defense on Saturday was an answer not just to prayers that night, but to decades of prayer. Thank You, Lord!
Reading Time: 3 minutes

The spectacular interception of missile after missile over Israel on Saturday was a multicountry effort resulting from years of diplomatic efforts led by the U.S. It was also the result of the prayers of millions of intercessors. This article explains the coordination of unlikely countries. For more on the prayer, catch IFA’s Headline Prayer Live webcast.

From the The Wall Street Journal. As hundreds of Iranian drones and missiles winged across the Middle East Saturday night, a defensive line of radars, jet fighters, warships and air-defense batteries from Israel, the U.S. and a half dozen other countries was already activated against the long-feared attack from Iran.

Almost nothing got through to Israel.

The formidable display of collective defense was the culmination of a decades-old but elusive U.S. goal to forge closer military ties between Israel and its longtime Arab adversaries in an effort to counter a growing common threat from Iran. …

Much of the cooperation Saturday night that led to the shooting down of the Iranian-directed barrage needed to be forged on the fly, and many details about the role played by Saudi Arabia and other key Arab governments are being closely held.

Israeli and the U.S. forces intercepted most of the Iranian drones and missiles. But they were able to do so in part because Arab countries quietly passed along intelligence about Tehran’s attack plans, opened their airspace to warplanes, shared radar tracking information or, in some cases, supplied their own forces to help, officials said.

The operation was the culmination of years of U.S. effort to break down political and technical barriers that thwarted military cooperation between Israel and the Sunni Arab governments. …

Efforts to build an integrated air-defense system for the region date back decades. … [T]he initiative gained momentum after the 2020 Abraham Accords brokered by the Trump administration, which established formal ties between Israel and the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.

Two years later, the Pentagon shifted Israel from its European Command to Central Command, which includes the rest of the Middle East, a move that enabled greater military cooperation with Arab governments under U.S. auspices. …

In March 2022, Marine Gen. Frank McKenzie, then the top U.S. commander in the region, convened a secret meeting of top military officials from Israel and Arab countries to explore how they could coordinate against Iran’s growing missile and drone capabilities. The talks … marked the first time that such a range of ranking Israeli and Arab officers met under U.S. military auspices to discuss countering Iran.

“The Abraham Accords made the Middle East look different…because we could do things not just under the surface but above it.” …

This nascent air-defense alliance had never been battle tested when on April 1, a missile strike in Damascus, Syria, killed several Iranian officers. … Israel hasn’t claimed responsibility for the attack.

Tehran quickly vowed to respond, and senior U.S. officials began pressing Arab government to share intelligence about Iran’s plans to strike Israel and to assist with intercepting drones and missiles launched from Iran and other countries toward Israel, according to Saudi and Egyptian officials. …

Arab countries offered help in defending against the Iranian attacks because they saw the benefits of cooperating with the U.S. and Israel. …

“Gulf countries know they still don’t have the same level of support that Israel gets from the United States and see what they did [Saturday] as a way of getting it in the future,” she said.

The Iranian missiles and drones were tracked from the moment they launched. …

When the slow-moving Iranian drones came within range, they were shot down, mostly by fighters from Israel and the U.S. and in smaller numbers by British, French and Jordanian warplanes, officials said. …

An Israeli official involved in regional security cooperation efforts said that while there had been frequent sharing of intelligence on air-defense threats in the past, Iran’s attack Saturday “was the first time that we saw the alliance work at full power.”

Yes! It’s the power of Lord God Almighty in all of the protection of his motherland Israel! We as a country always need to provide protection for Israel. The truth comes from the Holy Bible because our Savior knows exactly what is going on!

This morning I listened to Chuck Holton, a war correspondent who has the Hot Zone on You Tube. He also works for the Christian Broadcasting Network. He stated that the US and Iran do not talk to each other directly but they do have back channels that take place with the Swiss Embassy. He said that Iran gave the US detailed information about their plans to attack Israel. Then the US gave Iran the green light to attack Israel just as long as it was not too bad/too powerful of an attack. Then the US helped knock some of those attacks out. Now they are trying to either have Israel not respond or have a limited response. What does that tell you? Here is the link to hear the facts: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uikfwgn5Mhc

I saw the videos of the night Iran attacked Israel. There’s no doubt in my mind God was protecting His people. I pray He will continue and give Israel’s leaders wisdom and all the people strength. I pray the Lord will open the eyes and hearts of those who have not accepted Jesus as Messiah and many will be saved by God’s Amazing grace. All the Glory, honor and Praises to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords 🙌🙌🙌 We know You will accomplish the work You began Our mighty Defender of Truth and Righteousness.

As I have been praying for Israel in view of the Saturday night attack launched by Iran, I am very concerned about the deception that may be occurring in this situation. After months of the Biden administration becoming increasingly more hostile towards Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for not ordering a complete ceasefire in Gaza, and other areas in Israel where Hamas was targeted, he is suddenly promising iron-clad support to defend Israel against Iran!? I saw the same switch of attitude towards Israel with Jordan, as well. Could it be that this was orchestrated, as a greater tactic for the U.S., Jordan, and others who helped shoot down Iran’s drones and missiles, to increase their pressure on Prime Minister Netanyahu to say, “See we helped you. You can trust us, and we will always protect you. Now cooperate with our demands and call a cease-fire against Hamas!”? I believe the global elite-backed nations, would be happy to see Israel destroyed and divided from the inside out, due to Hamas terrorists left in place, and Israel’s goal to root out all the Hamas terrorists, abandoned before that goal was completed. Praying Prime Minister Netanyahu puts his trust in Adonai, and learns from the history of his people, that when his ancestors, the Israelites, sought wisdom from the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, fasting and praying and trusting His help when they went to battle, that was when they succeeded. They did not succeed when they trusted man alone, especially foreign leaders who had a track record of being deceptive and trying to play both sides!

Donna, I echo what you said about the need for Prime Minister Netanyahu to put his trust in Adonai, and to learn from the history of his people, that when his ancestors, the Israelites, sought wisdom from the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, fasting and praying and trusting His help when they went to battle, that was when they succeeded.

With all that said I think it is important that they obey Gods commands. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

“Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds His people, from this time forth and forevermore.” Psalm 125: 1-2. Thank You Father God that You share Your love for Your Chosen people and land of Israel with us. Truly humbled to lift up prayers for Your will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. My heart rejoices with the anticipation of Your return as King of kings and Lord of lords to Your beloved Jerusalem. In Your Glorious, Victorious Name I stand with the blessed assurance of Your divine intervention. Amen.

The interception of the missles was also the result of the Word that was established under the covenants that are ratified in the Blood.

God is renowned in Judah;
in Israel his name is great.
His tent is in Salem,
his dwelling place in Zion.
There he broke the flashing arrows,
the shields and the swords, the weapons of war.

Read it, believe it, pray it and declare it.

” Out of the mouths of babes and sucklings You have ordained strength…”.

1. Psalm 105:1-3 – Oh give thanks to the Lord; call upon his name; make known his deeds among the peoples! Sing to him, sing praises to him; tell of all his wondrous works! Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice!

2. Psalm 107:1-2 – Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever! Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he has redeemed from trouble.

3. Exodus 15:2 – The Lord is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation;
this is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.

4. Isaiah 12:4-5 – “And you will say in that day: ‘Give thanks to the Lord, call upon his name,
make known his deeds among the peoples, proclaim that his name is exalted. Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously; let this be made known in all the earth.'”

5. Psalm 91:14-16 – Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him because he knows my name. When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.

Another reason elect great men who value the Bible and our Christian roots in the White House. The current administration couldn’t really do anything about the already established Accord. Watch them try and take credit for what happened but our God knows all things and He will defend us. Praise the Lord.

Praise God! It is good to hear that we actually did something significant to assist Israel in her time of need. it shows israel that we stand with them in thisMiddle East mess, which is quite important. Thank you, Lord jesus, that Iran’s efforts were a failure on Saturday.. May we continue to provide assistance to Israel, and I pray that Iran will cease any further attacks upon Israel. Tha k You, Jesus.

Grateful for this cooperation but Iran would not be nearly the malignant force it is if not for being enriched by United States policy. Saudia Arabia and Jordanian participation is ultimately for their own good as they know full well Iran’s Middle East designs.
Lord, guide Israel how to respond to this attack and all the bloody attacks they endure through Iranian proxies Hamas, Hezbullah, and the Houthis. We thank You for the United States assisting Isrrael, but it comes with a price: Israel can only go so far in defending herself and she must divide her God given inheritance. May Israel have the strength to say no to her “friend”. And may sixty thousand displaced Israelis in northern Isrrael be able to return to their homes.

He who lives by the sword will die by the sword. I am glad the attack did not end in tragic violence and harm, as is happening to innocents in Palestine. May we give up the idea of destroying each other (and our planet and species) and learn to solve difficulties by negotiation and ego problems by prayer.
