A strong west wind came on the morning of April 13 as I prepared to participate in the Don’t Mess with Our Kids event at our state capital. Somehow there was something spiritual in this wind. Was God speaking? Or was it just another weather event?
I was curious, and as I inquired of the Lord — like Moses stopping to look at the curious thing happening at the burning bush — I immediately found the scripture identifying the west wind. Exodus 10:19 reads: And the Lord turned the wind into a very strong west wind, which lifted the locusts and drove them into the Red Sea.
Wow. I sat in wonder as God spoke to my heart that He was dealing with the (human/spiritual) locusts, those bringing destruction to our state and nation (and world). He was speaking in the west wind, a sign and wonder for the day that we would gather and seek His heart for restoration and revival in New Jersey and beyond. On the very day when we were seeking repentance or removal of those who work for destruction and stand in the way of God’s kingdom coming to earth!
Then, as if that wasn’t enough to thrill my heart as I set out for the state capital, the first song that came up on my playlist was “Mighty Breath of God,” by Jesus Culture. Like a double portion for my inquiry about the wind, these lyrics stood out:
Blow, mighty breath of God
move upon this place
Won’t you move in power and grace?
Streams of mercy flowing down
Light of heaven all around
And it’s falling to the ground
Spirit of fire, fan the flame
Passion for your Holy name …
Let your wind blow
Let your fire fall
Let your wind blow!
Surely, the heavens declare the glory of God (Psalm 19:1). God was speaking!
Arriving at the event, I had a chance to meet the lead organizer, Rich Morano, of Resting Place House of Prayer, and I shared what the Lord had spoken. He then shared it with the whole group later at the event. He inspired the attendees to stand strong in faith and the power of God to see the state and nation turn back to God. The call to humble ourselves, turn away from sin, and seek God echoed throughout the event according to 2 Chronicles 7:14.
God spoke to the mothers and fathers, grandmas and grandpas, aunts and uncles, and all those contending to protect our kids. We were reminded that He is working and hearing our prayers, and we felt comforted and encouraged that our great God is answering this enemy attack on our children and is pleased with our response.
The event brought brothers and sisters in Christ together to worship, pray, intercede, take communion, and declare and decree God’s word. Speakers brought insight into activities underway to organize and bring people together under a common mission to protect innocent children from pornography, gender confusion, and other perversions that have crept into public schools.
I shared the afternoon with IFA New Jersey prayer co-leader Debbie Melicharek and others who love God, to show solidarity in this fight for our children. We did battle in worship and prayer as we focused on the greatness of our God and prayed into the “seven mountains” of our culture: government, economics, education, family, religion, arts and entertainment, and media.
My prayer for those reading here is that you, too, will inquire of God and see His glory (goodness) in your daily life. This is prayer and communion with our loving powerful God, whose pleasure it is to give us the kingdom!

Today is April 19th. This article is 3 days old. As Time Races by in a manner that to date it seems I am not the only one that has noticed.. the efforts of humanity that have had some-, or not much effect.. seem to dissolve into Whitewater as the next day mounts its attempt at taking a place in the next effort to go forward- and seemingly dissolves just as quick.
The children must always be protected.
As far as privacy, and laws concerning privacy…there are so many laws on the books now that by the sheer number of them-, they become like a sheer face of a 10,000 ft cliff..impenetrable. If lawmaking bodies and constituents followed laws originally as instituted on constitutional basis- they would not have to keep making new laws. In fact the continual crafting of new laws has become a weapon of subterfuge and confusion that the current(& historically whoever was in office) legislators use-, to keep the masses confused- who could keep track of them all. And in fact, they are not kept track of. If whoever is reading this does not believe this is true, – how many times have we heard of a reference made to a certain law in context to a needed situation, – and then some legislator or lawmaker or activist group says-,” well that law is really old and doesn’t apply.” The laws don’t apply as time goes by- because people do not comply to the laws. Tragically many times in fact most of the time legislators make laws designed to manipulate Our Lives not to serve our lives. This past month it has become apparent to me that my miniscule effort is best served in the realization as it has to become known to me that today’s prophets do have something to say.. as the events that they are describing are coming to pass. The word says your old men will dream dreams and your young men will see visions. I’m spending more and more time learning to pray and not give up stay out of sin and try to tune myself to the leading of the spirit the Holy Spirit, – I believe that God moves people to take action as he places those people in those situations.. and I’ve been placed here at this desk-, without a vehicle.. without money.. so my place is here praying.. and many of these recorded activities to me seem repetitive and superfluous- but the Lord has not placed me-, there so I do not really know-,but I know for a fact that our solution as Christians as intercessors and is activists is in our connection to the Lord God, -,and in nothing else
God is definitely on the move in America and if I lived in other lands I would say he’s probably on the move there also God is amazing everywhere I go in other churches on outreaches and malls and recovery rehab centers God is touching hearts and lives he is amazing one praise God I pray that the event on this last Saturday with IFA touch the hearts of the people that attended and that God’s ear was open to their prayers. And as Paul the apostle went throughout the world it was said that these men have turned the world upside down I pray that individually and collectively we begin to turn the world upside down but right side up in the kingdom of God. Fight on and fight the good fight of faith and lay hold of eternal life God be with my brothers and sisters in this last minutes before His glorious appearing love and peace in Christ
God’s might was in the wind as we prayed at the Texas Capitol in Austin Saturday. 🙏🏻

Donna, thanks for sharing. It sounds like many people experience something similar to this at other Capitol locations.
I participated in the FL event. And yes, during worship and communion, there was an amazing breeze or gush of wind that came out of nowhere. It was truly an unforgettable moment to feel the presence of God in such a tangible way.
Thank you Father God for this faithful warrior woman, this Esther for such a time as this. May all the Esthers and Mordecais throughout the US at Don’t Mess with our Kids continue to uphold Truth, Jesus, and His truths to us in His Word that our children will be freed from the tyranny of the state out its mind being leagued with satan and his foes. Set the captives free on both sides of this issue because our enemy hates us all and uses us to taunt You and us, Father God.
Heal our land as we humble ourselves to pray and seek Your face, turning from all the wickedness of prayerlessness, debauchery, idolatry of music, movies, TV and sports, etc. to see Truth, Jesus, who is the Way, Truth and Life. We trust in Your hearing and Your forgiveness or we wouldn’t be able to address You in prayer. Help usA now in this Passover season to Let My Children Go once again.

As I was reading, I got God bumps all over my body and then the tears came a-flooding.
I love how God uses His creation to speak to us. And then you referenced Psalm 19 – one of the Psalms I have hidden in my heart.
Father of Creation, LORD, there is NONE like You. Keep Your Wind, Your Fire afresh in us. Let our prayers, petitions and quiet moment be pleasing to You. Father, we stand on Your promises as we are Yours.

Thank you for sharing. I participated in the CT event at the Capitol in Hartford. And yes we had “Mighty Winds” during our event. I had the sense that those winds were a gift from God. His presence was real among us.
Father God you are awesome and good your love endures forever and we thank you for all the work that you are doing through us and this special spiritual people that are leading the way. We love you Jesus and we thank you may we do not cease praying and obeying you Lord God are King our savior. We love you Jesus amen
