I Prayed have prayed
Lord, we ask that our elections will be honest and full of integrity. Give our systems and poll workers the capabilities and resources to catch any fraud. May all deception be exposed, and may Americans vote the Bible this election. We pray that millions of Christians would come out and vote. Amen.

Three days before the midterms, the Trump administration is pointing to a two-year record on election security that it says closes vulnerabilities left open for years: ballot-counting machines exposed to foreign exploitation, foreign governments holding American voter data, and noncitizens appearing on voter rolls. The actions, catalogued this week in a list of fifteen, range from criminal prosecutions to conditions placed on federal homeland security grants.

Opponents call the same record a threat to democracy and accuse the president of suppressing legitimate voters. Supporters answer that the measures address documented problems, including people on the rolls who should not be there, ballots lost or missing, and candidates put up to confuse voters.

From Just the News:

Similarly, the intelligence community has long been aware that China has vacuumed up 220 million American voter files and put itself in a position to meddle in future elections.

The Justice Department and the Homeland Security Department have now prosecuted, arrested, or convicted more than 200 noncitizens or foreigners who illegally voted or illegally registered to vote in federal elections. It’s the largest in history, and it is a talking point that liberal activists often claim was a mere conspiracy theory.

Trump has made the SAVE system at USCIS available at no cost to state and local election officials, enabling states to identify and scrub nearly 500,000 dead people from voter rolls.

In a July address from the White House East Room, Trump said U.S. spy agencies had known for years that American ballot-counting machines carried vulnerabilities foreign powers could exploit. He also said the Homeland Security Department, by matching voter registrations against government databases, had identified tens of thousands of suspected foreigners improperly on the rolls, some of whom had cast ballots. The report describes near-daily arrests and court filings as evidence the problem was more common than Democrats had conceded.

Beyond prosecutions, War Secretary Pete Hegseth ordered a one-day, military-wide voting stand-down in October of each federal election year so service members can register, request and submit ballots, and the department closed what the report calls loopholes that let purported citizens living overseas who never resided in the United States claim privileges reserved for military voters. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Medicare and Medicaid Administrator Mehmet Oz issued guidance affirming that nursing home residents may vote, decline to vote, and receive help from a trusted person, aimed at keeping outside activists from coercing them. Education Secretary Linda McMahon warned state and local agencies that sharing private student data with partisan nonprofits violates federal law and risks federal funding.

Attorney General Todd Blanche’s Justice Department opened an inquiry into information requests Mark Zuckerberg made of nonprofits he funded, sought details on state motor vehicle data used in get-out-the-vote drives dating to 2020, and warned state election officials they would be held accountable for federal election law violations. The Census Bureau is proposing an overhaul of the 2030 count; the report says the 2020 count yielded at least five erroneous Democratic House seats. The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency has stopped policing political speech it deemed disinformation and issued a report on electronic voting vulnerabilities. Homeland Security conditioned more than $1 billion in grants on measures such as post-election manual audits, and Secretary Markwayne Mullin referred QR code and barcode vulnerabilities to the Justice Department.

The report carries no response from any state election official, Democratic organization or civil rights group, and no comment from the individuals or companies named in the Justice Department inquiries.

Machines can be hardened and rolls can be scrubbed, but a republic is only as honest as the men who administer it, which is why the church cannot outsource election integrity to agencies and then go quiet. So let’s pray for the county clerks, poll workers and state officials who will carry the pressure of Tuesday; for the investigators tracing fraud; for military families and nursing home residents whose votes are easily taken; and above all for a nation that would return to the fear of God, without which no reform will hold. Let’s pray that those who administer our elections would be found faithful, that deception would be exposed, and that Americans would cast their ballots and then trust the God who raises up and brings down leaders according to His purpose.
