Lord, we are thankful for a President who defends free speech. Guide him as he goes to battle against those with a different agenda.
Reading Time: 2 minutes

President Donald Trump signed an executive order Thursday in the White House to defend free speech on social media and regulate social media companies for selectively censoring users.

“We’re here today to defend free speech from one of the greatest dangers,” the president said, referring to the “unchecked power” wielded by social media companies in the United States.

The president signed the order in the Oval Office on Thursday afternoon.

“They’ve had unchecked power to censor restrict, edit shape hide alter virtually any form of communication between private citizens or large public audiences,” Trump said.

The president criticized the growing monopoly of social media companies in America, vowing to act to change the regulatory framework for the companies.

“There’s no precedent in American history for so small a number of corporations to control so large a sphere of interaction,” he said.

Trump said the increasing editorial actions by social media to control the content on their platforms endangered their liability shield under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act as a neutral public platform.

“The choices that Twitter makes, when it chooses to suppress, edit, blacklist, shadowban are editorial decisions, pure and simple, they are editorial decisions,” Trump said.

The president accused the companies of political activism, calling it “inappropriate.”

“What they choose to fact check and what they choose to ignore or promote is nothing more than a political activism group,” he said.

Trump said that social media companies had “more power and more reach” than any phone company or newspaper or media outlet, and needed more regulation.

U.S. Attorney General William Barr attended the event and said his office would prepare legislation to restrict social media companies from pressing their particular viewpoints on their platforms.

“These companies grew because they held themselves out as public forums,” Barr said, adding, “Now that they’ve become these very powerful networks of eyeballs. They’ve now switched and they are using that market power to force particular viewpoints.”. . .

This is long overdue but welcomed. I was fact checked for posting locations to vote in person. This information came directly from the county clerk’s office. Fact checking is biased discrimination based against personal agendas.

YouTube has been censoring and deleting every single video they could findthat does not agree with the WHO about the COVID-19. Any alternative teaching about it, meaning alternative medicines and treatments, anything about Hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin as successful treatments. I remember seeing the article when the CEO of YouTube had actually announced that they are going to try and control what they called fake treatments out there.

The videos that I have saved that talked against the bad things that may have been happening in some hospitals, the poor treatment that people had received, doctors speaking out about alternative treatments, all had been deleted from my saved videos probably was about 10 or 12 of them.

Recently I posted a PragerU (love ’em!) video on the false narrative about starving polar bears, and the video was marked “Fake News.” But I had also watched the Will Witt interview with the author of the book that inspired the video. She was an unbiased scientist who only paid attention to the data, not politics or weather. I pulled the video because it’s an uphill battle to argue these points with indoctrinated bigots. This is what comes from not paying attention to what’s being taught in schools and universities. We should never think of schools as our babysitters; they’re turning our babies into our enemies.

I have a couple of business accounts with facebook. I’ve written a few books about the Word of God and put money into advertising two of them, which got great results. It kick-started responses, and the webite got 25,000 hits in one month. I was very pleased. The accounts are still being noticed on fb. However, though I continue to get numerous “likes,” fb diminishes my numbers. It makes no sense, unless it’s because I stopped advertising with them when they discontinued “Christian” as an audience category.
Because I’m a rather private person, I don’t build a number of friends on my personal fb account. I have under 300. We who are conservatives on fb have come to realize they pay little attention to censoring us if we limit our number of friends. Most of the censoring is against larger fb accounts.

Facebook switched out a video that I sent to my brother, changing a short version for a longer one I had never seen. I would have not even known they did that had he not wanted to discuss some of the points in the video. I did not even know about some of the points he was talking bout because I had never seen the video they inserted. My brother and I are politically different, and I am careful to send things that being unity. The video that they inserted caused division and was not something I Would have shared with him. I feel they should be held liable for ruining people’s relationships and reputations and for manipulating personal messages to say things that were never said. Another friend mentioned something that she thought I said on Facebook and I had no idea what she was talking about. Again, manipulation and division, and intrusive deception that they should be held accountable for.

I don’t know if it’s considered social media but YouTube has a horrible static in the background of all my worship music. It began sometime in March. I’ve sent them input three different times and never got a response. I’ve also filed a report with the better business bureau and have yet to hear from them.

Facebook claims fake on some items posted that are not false or it never shows up in the news feed.

Recently on Facebook I scrolled back into my timeline to find something I had posted; I discovered that almost 10 of my postings had been deleted. In their place was a statement saying something like this: “this content is no longer available or has been deleted by the owner”. I have never deleted any of my posts. I regularly share political views but have never used bad language etc so there would be no reason other than political censorship for my posts to be deleted.

I had a nonprofit page on FB that was only used to post a weekly Sabbath message. There were 500 to 700 viewers weekly. That’s a lot of souls! The page was unpublished stating it was “abusive”.
I have never found the truth of the Kingdom to be abusive, but I have been scared to tears when finding I had believed falsely.

Days ago I receive a meme in Face Book where the word GOD appeared in a very positive way.
It came back sensored, because it was OFFENSIVE to the community.
I was looking for a window to ask what community.
No chance to give my opinion.

Lord, please confuse the strategy of the demonic realm fueling bias and control by social media. Make one lie prove another wrong until they kill each other and fall to the ground in Jesus name, Amen.

Several posts I have shared from conservative viewpoints have been blocked with a “fact checker” label. Those commonly blocked are PragerU and Candace Owens, both powerful conservative voices. Facebook has also blocked several medical doctors who had a differing view about how to interpret the coronavirus data. They were simply evaluating the scientific facts.
I’m so grateful that the President is acting swiftly to remove the special protections from these companies so that they can be taken to court for censorship.

Heavenly Father,
We thank you for this President and those working with him who are acting quickly to correct this problem before the November elections. Bless and protect him in all he does today.
Help us Lord! We need you. We look to you. Give us godly leaders in every national, state and city election. Help us to be diligent as watchmen on the wall to be praying over these matter. Hear and answer quickly Lord God.
We thank you Father for not treating us as our sins deserve. Thank you for your great mercy!
In Jesus Name I ask these things.

In regard to the covid-19 pandemic, any articles or videos that disagree with Dr. Fauci or Dr. Birx have been deleted from Facebook saying they have false information that may cause others to act unwisely! Even photos that paid tribute to those who’ve lost loved ones in war have been deemed harmful to others (snowflakes) and have been ‘hidden’ only to be opened at the reader’s discretion! Posts that ‘fact checkers’ find false are taken down. Who are these fact checkers? The President is correct! However, this should be called Censorship!

I constantly have posts taken down down by Facebook or reported as inappropriate (because of it’s exposure of truth).

Also, Facebook limits how many people actually see our posts, it’s very disgusting.
