Cheering protesters torched a Minneapolis police station that the department abandoned as three days of violent protests spread to nearby St. Paul and angry demonstrations flared across the U.S over the death of George Floyd, a handcuffed black man who pleaded for air as a white police officer kneeled on his neck.

A police spokesman confirmed late Thursday that staff had evacuated the 3rd Precinct station, the focus of many of the protests, “in the interest of the safety of our personnel” shortly after 10 p.m. Livestream video showed the protesters entering the building, where fire alarms blared and sprinklers ran as blazes were set.

Protesters could be seen setting fire to a Minneapolis Police Department jacket.
Late Thursday, President Donald Trump blasted the “total lack of leadership” in Minneapolis. “Just spoke to Governor Tim Walz and told him that the Military is with him all the way. Any difficulty and we will assume control but, when the looting starts, the shooting starts,” he said on Twitter. Trump, who called protesters in Minneapolis “thugs,” drew another warning from Twitter for his rhetoric, saying it violated the platform’s rules about “glorifying violence.”

A visibly tired and frustrated Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey made his first public appearance of the night at City Hall near 2 a.m. Friday and took responsibility for evacuating the precinct, saying it had become too dangerous for officers there. As Frey continued, a reporter cut across loudly with a question: “What’s the plan here?”

“With regard to?” Frey responded. Then he added: “There is a lot of pain and anger right now in our city. I understand that … What we have seen over the past several hours and past couple of nights here in terms of looting is unacceptable.

He defended the city’s lack of engagement with looters — only a handful of arrests across the first two nights of violence — and said, “We are doing absolutely everything that we can to keep the peace.” He said National Guard members were being stationed in locations to help stem looting, including banks, grocery stores and pharmacies.
[Violence was also reported in other U.S. cities such as Columbus, Phoenix, Louisville, Washington DC and more.]

According to movie about end times prophecy called “The Convergence” recently watched on Amazon – whoever owns the internet controls the world. Apparently the USA owned it until a few years ago where it was given away… can’t remember the name of the company…anyone know more? Pray that we would stand firm as a witness for Him! We don’t fight against flesh and blood but principalities

Regarding the tragic events in Minneapolis: Derek Prince taught in his Demonic Warefare Series that demonic activity is usually discerned as three spiritual forces acting together such as:’ Witchcraft, sorcery, and divination’ and in this case ‘lawlessness, violence, and confusion‘! We are praying and binding the forces of ‘lawless, violence, and confusion’ which has been unleashed in our nation regarding the riots in St. Louis, Baltimore, Minneapolis and orther cities. May the Lord have mercy on our nation!!

On the road to Damascus what flipped Paul from a militant defendant of Judaism to extraordinary miracles? (were he and Simon the Zealot patriots before Jesus?)

How many of us have been stoned, left for dead, elders lay hands on us, God raises from the dead, then immediately we dash back into the den of vipers and preach the gospel, for our persecutors sake? And he didn’t even wash or get a bandaid! (Jonah was a sight as well, on his 3 day trek through Ninevah!)

What drove Paul to write so much of the New Testament from prison? Or gladly embrace his imprisonment for the sake of Christ?

There is the secret of intamacy with the Bridegroom. James writes to the twelve tribes ‘dispersed’ abroad! Due to a great persecution?, perhaps. Good read from that perspective?

“Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” James 1:2‭-‬4

James was encouraging the Church how to keep the Light of Christ in the center of their lives high on a lampstand for all to see. (“He who suffers in the flesh ceases from sin”).

Reinhardt Bonnke understood the times he lived, his ministry banner, “Robbing he’ll to populate Heaven”; Corrie Ten Boom, “there is no pit so deep, that Christ is not deeper”; William Law, “our humility is the only part we offer to His Salvation”, John the Baptist, “He must Increase and I must decrease”; Don Odon, “do not watch the dance of the cobra”; Francis Frangipane, “Today We Fight!”

“Does not wisdom call, And understanding lift up her voice?” Proverbs 8:1

“But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy.” James 3:17

May this Sabbath Rest produce His purposes in my inner man. That my love be without hypocrisy.

It took a world pandemic to stop everyday human activity in it’s track. We could call it a plague. It should make us ask. What will it take to stop this kind of human activity in it’s track? I fear the answer. Thank you all prayer warriors for these heartfelt prayers.

Lord I pray for peace over Minneapolis. Lord please protect the officers, military if deployed, the store owners and their properties and all innocent people caught in the viloence.
Lord I pray for justice to be done and the Truth to prevail. I pray for family and their grieving and for Your comfort and love over them.
Lord I pray that you protect President Trump from slander, from the media distorting facts. Lord guide President Trump and Vice President Pence during the many issues that come before them daily. Proverbs 21:1, Proverbs 2:10-11
Lord I pray for healing for hurting persons. You are El Too, the One who sees the hurts, needs and struggles of people. Lord remove the scars of those wounded from racism, inferiority, rejection, and abuse. Lord I pray they will take these issues to the cross and to the Savior that can save and heal.
God protect our Nation. Psalm 108:3-6, 11-13. Lord for all corrupt leaders I ask for awareness of the evil of their ways and repent.
May You be glorified Lord. In Jesus name. Amen

I pray in agreement with Donna King. What happened to Mr. Floyd was terrible and those responsible MUST be held accountable for his murder. But the activities of the looters are also criminal and those people involved need to be held responsible. Dear God, please heal our Nation. Satan and his friends are alive and active everywhere and only help from You, dear God can bring an end to the hate and animosity that we are experiencing. I pray for Mr. Floyd’s family and ask God to be with them as they deal with the loss of their loved one. And God, please surround the cities of Minneapolis/St.Paul with Your holy angels and let peace and calm be present so the authorities can take steps to deal with this heartache. May Your justice reign O God, in Jesus Name we pray.

As a Black American I do understand the anger and rage felt by those protesting what happened to George Floyd. What happened to this man at the hands of those police officers is reprehensible. However, I denounce the acts of violence and the looting. Violence only begets more violence. The actions of the looters and rioters are NOT acceptable and should not be celebrated or condoned. There is a right way to air one’s grievances and there is a wrong way, and they have chosen the wrong way. Father, I speak peace over this situation and pray for a swift end to the violence in Minneapolis, St. Paul and other cities in the U.S. May your peace and righteousness rule and reign in the hearts and mind of those who are now so filled with hate and anger. I pray for justice for Mr. Floyd’s family. And I pray for revival to sweep across this nation that restores the hearts of the people back to you. I pray all of this in the name of Jesus, the very Prince of Peace.

When protesting turns to vandalism, looting and arson, they cannot be referred to as protesters anymore. They are rioters now. Protesting is supposed to be peaceful. Not an excuse for breaking the law and getting revenge. Very sad situation while people nowadays are hoping for things to get better. Praying this ends right away.
