Prayer Points As the Supreme Court Convenes on the Dobbs Case
The Heart of IFA
IFA’s mandate is to pray for the government and our nation’s leaders. Our mission is to intercede for leaders who are Republican, Democrat, Independent, and more. We don’t pray for some of our nation’s leaders, but all of them. And we do so knowing that each person is made in the image of God and loved by Him.
Recently IFA hosted a very special event in Washington, DC to pray about life and the Supreme Court case, Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health.
While in DC, intercessors Anne Perdue and Amanda Chase spotted New York Congressman Jerry Nadler in a hotel lobby. They walked up, introduced themselves and asked if he had any prayer requests. Congressman Nadler (whose leadership of the Judiciary Committee that impeached President Trump made him famous with liberals and infamous with conservatives) asked for prayer for reconciliation of the division in the nation.
That is a prayer we can all agree on. We may have different ideas about how it would happen and what it would look like, but we absolutely pray that God would heal division in our lives, in our families, in our communities, and in our nation.

I’m so thankful for praying people. For Congressman Nadler to agree to accept prayer and pray for reconciliation only proves our leaders know there is power in prayer. It proves they need prayers, even if they never ask for it. This is such an encouraging article to fellow Intercessors, that despite political party we will continue to pray for our leaders. We will pray as we are called to. We will be obedient. The Holy Spirit will convict the lost (leaders) of sin and righteousness. God can do anything, save anyone because the blood of Jesus is that powerful.
