It surprises no one when I say America needs a revival. We are a nation of addicts and lawless rebels. The United States is the single largest market on the earth for illegal drugs and leads the world in the export of pornography. We cannot build prisons fast enough to hold our criminals. We’re rich in goods and poor in character – powerful without, weak and self-destructive within.
What about the Church in America, God’s intended salt and light for this condition?
Since 2007, Christianity in the United States has decreased by about 8%
Church attendance and Bible reading are at decreased levels of involvement. (My note; This means we have actually lost ground.)
Six out of 10 Americans believe “Holy Spirit is a symbol of God’s power or presence but is not a living entity.
One out of every five professing to be born-again Christians believes the Bible contains errors.
Only 44 percent of born-again Christians are certain of the absoluteness of moral truth.
Yes, we need a revival! Repentance of sin, turning back to God, and a Third Great Awakening are America’s only hope. Will this occur? YES!
In their book Is It Real When It Doesn’t Work? Doug Murren and Bard Shurin recount:
Toward the end of the nineteenth century, Swedish chemist Alfred Nobel awoke one morning to read his own obituary in the newspaper: “Alfred
Nobel, the inventor of dynamite, who died yesterday, devised a way for more people to be killed in a war than ever before, and he died a rich man.”
Actually, it was Alfred’s older brother who had died; a newspaper reporter had bungled the epitaph. But the account had a profound effect on Nobel. He decided he wanted to be known for something other than developing the means to kill people efficiently and for amassing a fortune in the process. So he initiated the Nobel Prize, the award for scientists and writers who foster peace.
Nobel said, “Every man ought to have the chance to correct his epitaph in midstream and write a new one.”
Profound, and worth emulating.
God is giving America a chance to re-write her epitaph. If written today, it would read, “Weighed in the Balances and Found Wanting,” or perhaps, “The Giants Won.” But our gracious and merciful God, slow to anger and abounding in loving-kindness, forgives sinners and heals nations.
An army of Calebs has been awakened in America. What many have not yet figured out is that the recent election wasn’t about Donald Trump. It was about a belief system – that and a root system. Millions of Americans have awakened to the fact that their roots are being attacked. This attack has now progressed to a war on their beliefs – they’re being told what they must believe and what they’re allowed to say. They now know this.
But the seed of America was planted and her roots sprang up from an Appeal to Heaven. In spite of all the odds, the appeal worked. And we have – and are – appealing again. What this is causing, and also what many don’t yet realize, is that God himself is about to make His move. Our prayers have NOT been in vain, even the prayers surrounding the election and its aftermath. The appeals have moved the struggle for America’s destiny out of our hands and into God’s, motivated by His great love, God is coming with another redeeming wave of revival that will sweep millions into His family.
He has been challenged; He shall now respond.
A prayer you can pray:
Father, thank You for Your great mercy. Even when we are unfaithful, You remain faithful. And in Your great love, You are coming to rescue our nation. You are coming to set many free from their addictions and bondages. You are coming to free millions from deception and the power of darkness. And You are coming to establish Yourself as King and Redeemer. Nothing will stop this.
Just as You birthed America for Your sovereign purposes, You are re-birthing us. The Reset has begun. We are returning to You and returning to Your ways. We are also returning to our purpose. Revival is coming to this land and we will experience it in its fullness: coast to coast, north to south, and everywhere in between. It will be sweeping and powerful beyond our wildest dreams. Signs and wonders will be prevalent. Deliverance will be profound. And the reformation of our nation will happen much more quickly than most believe possible. We ask for this, decree it boldly, and believe it is so, in Jesus’ name…Amen.

There is much evidence to indicate we’ve been a Great Awakening of sorts for the last 10-15 years…our two previous Great Awakenings spanned generations and most didn’t know they were in the midst of one at the time—and they were times of great trouble and distress. Only afterwards, looking back did historians realize what had taken place and put the “Great Awakening” label on that time period. God used Donald Trump to expose the injustice and corruption in our Government and the true evil nature of the political left and then reminded us of what we once were and could be again. In this sense, Trump played a major part in this awakening and still may continue to have one. Trump honored God and I believe Hod will honor him when it is all said and done. Although cheated out of a second term in office—we’ve got to have confidence that God all these things are working according to His plan. Revival, the hope for America? Yes, but more importantly reason for being a Christian–to grow the kingdom of God. The above statistics show how abysmally we have failed God in evangelizing the lost and training the believers. I am shocked by my own laziness as a Christian who supposedly loves God with all her heart.
I pray for revival to bring us to our knees, deliver us from our own doubts & fears. Most of all Lord, the lost will seek you & accept you as their Lord & Savior. That our hearts will be on fire again. Lord keep us from relying on propaganda the unsaved world promotes & stay on task for what your will is for us. Protect our children from the evil that seeks to destroy your plans for them. Speak to our hearts & minds of your great love. We need you Lord, everyday & in every way, “we are weak but you are strong” Amen
I don’t know really how Biblical it is for us to “decree”but I’m sure that we can pray and call upon God, that what He has decreed will come to pass in our nation. We pray for an authentic Holy Spirit awakening of His Church. Amen
Our God has given us a long season to repent. He seems to be drawing the church, His bride, together to unify us once again, to awaken us, to humble us, and to prepare us for a manifestation of His power and authority. Father forgive our impatience, our lukewarm love for our brothers and sisters, and for all of the ways we have failed to shine your light.
Father God, we need you more each and every day, I admit I was slack in my Christian walk for to many years, letting others to come before you Lord, thank you Father for not giving up on me, you never threw away the clay but continued to mold me into a vessel of honor, through my Savior Jesus, Lord I now pray that you will bring many others in our nation and the world back to you, I thank you for pouring out your Holy Spirit upon all flesh, we glorify your Holy name, I feel excited about what you are doing, REVIVAL, Praise God, in Jesus mighty name amen.

Dear Lord, thank you for the encouraging words of Revival. We know in the end times there will be a great Revival. Thank you for the one who prayed, that we are not to look at the revival’s of the past, for this great revival will be much greater than that has ever been seen before. And we know there have been some wonderful ones in the past. “Lord, send a revival, and let it begin in me.” Lord, you brought the Children of Israel out of Egypt, and you are going to bring us out of the persecution we are about to endure. Only You know why this election was stolen, I do know we are calling out to you more than ever. God it is your hands, now and not ours. You tell us “in all things to give thanks” so Lord thank you for letting Biden become our president. You also tell us if we “act right in our problems, you will either change them, or give us the grace to bear them. “Grace” what a wonderful word Lord, it is the unmerited favor of God, how wonderful. Amen
For more than 20 years I have taken people to Ol’ Red River Meeting House in Kentucky. It was one of the two main sites of the Great revival of 1800. Every year, I would approach a few people, those I felt led of God to approach. I would ask them to pray and see if they felt led to go to an unknown place with me. I told them nothing else about it. Every single one of them felt led to go. Some said they felt led to go before they even prayed about it. While still miles away, they would exclaim at feeling the presence of God very strongly. I have taken all kinds of Christians there. Two years ago, I drive up there by myself. The presence of God was no longer there. I felt nothing at all. When I asked God why? He replied that He did not want us to look to the great revivals of the past any longer. He said He had taken away the old because He was shortly going to do something new. He said the revival that was coming would be much greater and bigger than the ones of the past. He said we were to prepare ourselves for it.
In 1992, Mr. Sheets, Bill Bright said the Holy Spirit told him that a great awakening to Christ will come. He was on his 27th day of a 40 day fast on juices when he said he heard the Spirit speak to him. He dies some years later of a lung disease, saying he had not seen a sign of that revival or awakening. I pray that your declarations over America come to pass by the hand of the Lord. I am waiting like you….
Lord, help us, in your moving to rescue the lost, to be that warm welcome. Help us to be the patient respondent to the PTSD left as a mark on these redeemed. Give us your wisdom instantly to know when to speak and when to listen and then fill us with your Holy Spirit to love them in the apparel of your thoughts toward them that we would all be clothed in righteousness.
I pray that all people in this nation and the World come to know Christ as their personal Saviour and Lord. May they and we all live for Him. The first comment I reported was a typo.

Father, just as you brought restoration to Judah after Daniel asked you to intervene, not because of our righteousness, but because of Your mercy, I ask you to have mercy upon the USA in spirte of our need to repent of unrighteiousness. Turn us again back to You. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ I pray.
Many people have become aware of how much fasting was a part of the early church. The First cathechism of the early church- The Didache- states this :Let not your fasts be with the hypocrites, for they fast on Mondays and Thursdays, but you fast on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Father, help us not to see with natural eyes and hear with natural ears, but to hear and see in the spirit the mighty move of Your Hand. Help us guard our hearts ♥️ and to worship like never before. I thank You that You never stop working and saving ‼️
This is a very encouraging article, Dutch. How we need revival in our nation and world! Lord Jesus, please, by Your great mercy, show us what our part is in bringing Holy Ghost awakening to our country and world. We cry out to You, knowing and discerning that revival is our only hope. We eagerly and desperately await this great blessing that only You can send us. I pray that we would not attempt to make this happen in our weak human strength- this would be a terrible failure. Show us how to “fan the flames”, how to work in partnership with You to bring this to pass. In Jesus’s name we pray. Amen.
I watch these Give Him 15 everyday, they are so powerful and hopeful to me. They keep me grounded and gets my focus back where it needs to be, on Jesus.

Amen for this encouragement!! It is TRUTH to our heart’s. We must remember God’s Great Love for His own. He is with us. He is our help in present troubles. He will never leave us nor forsake us. We must continue to PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME, live for Him, no matter what, FOR HE IS FAITHFUL!! He who created the heavens, man in His image, Rose from the dead–nothing is too hard for Him!! Let us be unifyed in our prayers and not shrink away nor be fearful. Perfect LOVE casts out fear! May our love for our Lord and His people multiply and multiply. Let us be useful and fruitful in these desperate times for His glory. Let us be involved in our governmental process and not sit back and just complain nor be complacent. Thank you for this word of encouragement. It’s hard to understand how so many did pray for God to continue what President Trump had started, for good, but it has forced Christians to get off the fence & make a stance, to reevaluate their purpose & to be involved in the great revival because it IS here
Thank you for this wonderful enlightenment. I am one who started praying many months ago for the evil to be stopped. I have not seen it come to pass yet, but believe that God is in control and is going to answer our prayers in his time. We do not know exactly how he is going to do this, but are 100% confident that he will. It is very certain that we will have victory over our enemies. The evil is so evident and right out there for all of us to see. The promises that God has given us are our shield during these times. God will never go back on his promises. We should never fear for God is exactly who he says he is. Lets go out today in faith and enjoy another day God has created. All is well, even if it doesn’t look possible at this moment. From great challenges, comes great leaders. God will not let us down. Keep on praying. Keep on believing. God is greater than our problems. Oh what a wonderful God we serve. Give us more mercy, Father, as we cry out for those who hate You because they don’t know You. God, let us love them as You love us; sinners all. Only You stand before us, giving us Your righteousness. We don’t even deserve it, but because You’ve chosen in Your great mercy to give it to us, please teach us to use it correctly, and uphold the greatness of Your name. Guide us, Father, in Jesus name.
Lord, as I draw near to You today, I take a deep breath and just fix my eyes on Jesus. The world and especially this nation is in shambles and the chaos is almost unbearable. What a blessing to my soul to know without a shadow of doubt You are in control and victory is at hand. Holy Spirit, give every believer, who professes Christ as Savior, clarity, hunger for righteousness, a deeper desire for You truth. Break off the spirits of religion, deception, self righteousness, and confusion. Move in force over the church and tear down the walls of denomination. Cause every believer to see, know and declare God is God (I AM), Christ is Savior, Holy Spirit is alive on the move, and Your Living Word is God breathed and sharper than a two edged sword. These things are undeniable and can’t be glossed over or avoided by believers anymore. Lord, penetrate and be in the midst of every fellowship and church gathering and clean house. Invade the airways of Christian teaching, preaching and prophecy. Mute all half truths and false teachings. Break every hindrance and stronghold that has held Your chosen from receiving all that You have for us. Revive, renew, and restore Your people. Awaken those who are asleep or have turned away due to wounding or deception. Fill every believer with Your Spirit and give Your wisdom, discernment, and ongoing revelation. Forgive us for our complacency and prideful ways. Holy Spirit reveal what we have allowed to separate us and convict our hearts so we can repent and turn from any wicked ways. Jesus, thank you for redemption and the hope we have because of the victorious cross. Father, bring an awakening, a revival and reformation to the nations and let it begin in Your Church. I pray and believe God is and still is control of what He has allowed on this world. He has awoken sleeping giants, Calebs. From men and women of God, prophets, pastors that the true word of God will explode throughout this world that will finish the enemy’s power. In Jesus name, let it be.
Dear Gracious and Loving Heavenly Father, please forgive us. We have not taken the keys to the Church which will stand against the gates of Hades, along with Jesus Christ, to be victorious. Forgive us for minimizing Christ’s finished work on the cross by our inaction/not taking the precious Word you’ve given us and applying it to our hearts and subsequent actions for Your glory. We are your defined Church. Help us Father. Help us truly understand what You’ve done for us out of Your love. Please help us to be the Church, a shining testimony pointing to You. Help us to understand what it is to be the Church in word, deed and action. We will give you the glory. We have not taken this responsibility seriously. We repent. Please return our nation and its people to You. Please protect us and our sovereignty. Prepare the Church for the coming days. Raise up many to serve – not just the normal 10% who typically dutifully serve in the Church, but help us all to become the Church full of the Holy Spirit acting on behalf for Your glory. We ask for justice Father. Thank you for Your faithfulness. And, if You choose to leave us in the desert because of our actions, please maintain the Church as You always faithfully have. We are sorry. We have not loved You with all our hearts, souls and minds nor have we loved our neighbors as ourselves. But, most importantly, we have minimized You, Your Son, Your Holy Spirit and your Church. Renew us Father as never before seen in the generations. And, if it be Your blessed will, restore our nation. Father, Abba, You are merciful and kind. Thank you that You hear our prayers and answer them in Your perfect time. Thank You for the deliverance that is coming for those in bondage to sin and self and satan. Thank You for the Great outpouring of Your Holy Spirit on this nation as You bring millions to Yourself. Paul, May the Lord open your eyes, ears and heart to his truth. May the light of the Holy Spirit cause your understanding of God’s truth to grow and draw you ever closer to the Lord. God’s word says: Trust in the Lord with all thy heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path. Prov. 3:5-6. In the gospel of John, Jesus himself said that He is the way the truth and the life and that no man comes to the Father but through Him. Praying you will believe Him and no other.

I pray we will see it with our eyes and feel it in our hearts. And like the mustard seed, it will grow to something real and tangible, awesome, powerful and holy.
Holy Spirit, cause the truth of God’s Living Word penetrate Paul’s spirit so that he might come to know and fully believe. Remove any obstacles that hinder faith from rising up. Lord, bless Paul as he presses on.
While we dont have a king in this nation, we do have elected leaders and Presidents. May the Lord provide us with the king that will rejoice in God; all who swear by God will glory in him, while the mouths of liars will be silenced.

May one day we have again a President that wants to be known as the one that prayed the most.
May the media lies be silenced, having their weapon of the tongue turn on itself. We pray for truth, for discernment and for God’s wisdom, righteousness and justice to again be the standard in our nation and may we return to the original 1776 Constitution based on God’s law, not man’s case law. We bless our Lord Almighty, our Creator and we ask to restore our covenant and Compact made with Him in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen
