Dear Intercessor,
Your voice is needed today to help oppose one of the most egregious minor consent bills to ever surface in this country. B23-0171, which became D.C. law on December 23, 2020, is now undergoing a 30-day congressional review period per the District of Columbia Home Rule Act. The act makes it possible for Congress to overturn the law before it goes into effect; however, this has only been done successfully a handful of times in history and must be done within 30 short days per the provisions of the act. As such, we are urging all U.S. advocates to support resolutions (S.J.Res. 7 and H.J.Res. 25) to strike down the D.C. minor consent law.
Your support is vital, even if you don’t live in the District. This dangerously misguided law targets children, including vulnerable inner-city youth, as young as 11. It includes provisions to ensure that parents never find out that their child got vaccinated by requiring insurance companies, vaccine administrators and schools to conceal the vaccination(s) from parents. This effectively prevents parents from ever knowing their child’s complete medical history.
Medical and legal experts say the D.C. minor consent law is predatory, racist and destructive to children and families everywhere. . . .
It’s unconscionable to have a law like this that preys on young children, interferes in a family’s personal matters, and erodes the parent-child relationship by encouraging kids to keep secrets from their parents. That’s why we’re asking for your immediate help to overturn it! We are asking people from all over the country to take action NOW so that this predatory law in our nation’s capitol is abolished and won’t set precedent for other states to follow! . . .

How does limiting a senator’s term (res.25),& balancing the budget (res.25), resolve the issue of
B23-0171? Both ideas are notable & worthy, nevertheless I don’t see the connection to minors consent issues.
This is an example of unethical and immoral Nazi communist style medicine.
Dear Lord our children belong to you. Please protect our children from all this evil in our government. It is so evil what our government is trying to destroy our children .All the enemy shall be exposed and brought to light in Jesus name I pray. Your kingdom come your will be done.

God, this is beyond us. No matter how hard we try, evil seems to prevail. We cry out to you, and ask that YOU, the righteous judge prevail. Judge this land and remove all iniquity.
I would truly appreciate knowing what is wrong with these people who have decided they know so much. All you need to do is look at the history of child services over the past 50 years to see how many children have been abused and destroyed physically and emotionally by the government.
The frightening thing is that COMMON SENSE is nearly extinct!!!!!!
But for the childrens sake and the family;; all these plans of the enemy must be exposed and brought to light! I pray for righteous indignation to rise up in parents, grandparents, everyone who cares about children and family to pray, get educated and learn what is going on behind our backs and get actively involved as much as possible; making those who are trying in every way, everything they can do to destroy God’s creation,our children, our families, the United States of America; will wish they had never been born. The church, the citizens of the USA must resist the devil and his minions NOW before anymore damage is done and any more children are hurt or worse.

What more do you need to know, Michael, than that we cannot have the government taking actions for our children without parents’ consent? If you have a better way to advocate, why don’t you just state it as an alternative and not leave readers hanging thinking “there’s a better way to advocate”? I will do everything I can to help defend our children & our parental rights to decide for ourselves about medical decisions, like taking vaccinations. parents need to be part of these critical decisions. some children, like mine, have health issues that, rightly so, no school administrator has any knowledge of. These vaccinations could injure those students.

While it is not possible to report the news without bias, I would like to see stories like this also report the reasons that people are in favor of such laws. To leave that out, while calling individuals to take action that favors the writer’s desires is poor journalism.
While the author of this piece has understandable concerns, this person would have furthered his/her cause -at least with me, by giving us a more complete picture of this news event
In closing, I share he author’s concern, but think that there is a better way to advocate for this position
Common sense would dictate that you don’t want or need outside folks making decisions for your children without your inform and consent. This bill would cover other decisions that the government would make for children besides just a vaccination, i.e., injecting child with sexual hormones, exposing child to sexual material without your permission, making a child have an abortion while under the guise that children do not have an obligation to share this information with their parents.
It is important to get the full information which you can easily do by reading about B23-0171 and which IFA has previously discussed in prior articles in the past.
Father God, may your people not continue to perish because of lack of knowledge, recognizing that the methods and tactics of the enemy are to further deceive folks until they walk in total darkness. We thank you that you give man choice, but the enemy simply wants to dictate that we follow his destructive ways. We aggressively speak against and will stop those attempts by the enemy to lay pits for our children to fall in by usurping the rights of parents. I have read the bill in its entirety and am now actually MORE concerned. This is specifically targeting the vaccine for HPV, and also goes directly against parental wishes for religious or other purposes. It allows an 11-YEAR-OLD to make a decision that may directly affect his/her health (Guillain-Barre – see https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/30715823/) without parental input. It also hides it on the medical record, except for the school record; therefore, the medical record is incomplete and the parent does not know unless he/she sees the school immunization record. I would like to know what you believe the motive of the people in favor of this bill is? Once again, we MUST look at future consequences. If it is decided the government and an 11-YEAR-OLD may make a medical decision without the parents’ knowledge, what’s next? Additionally, does this lower the age of consent for other behaviors or decisions, i.e., sexual activity? It seems this may establish a precedent, and a dangerous one at that.
