I Prayed have prayed
Lord, we thank you for athletes like Cooper that choose to honor you, even on the field. Amen.

From CBN News: Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp capped off a successful, record-breaking season with a Super Bowl win and the distinct honor of being named the game’s Most Valuable Player.

Kupp said Sunday night after his team beat the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 that he believes God revealed a vision to him in 2019 after the Rams lost to the Patriots. The vision showed him his team would make it to a future Super Bowl and that he would be designated the MVP

“I don’t know what it was, there was just this vision that God revealed to me that we were going to come back, we were going to be a part of a Super Bowl, we were going to win it,” he said. “And somehow — somehow I was going to walk off the field as the MVP of the game.”

Kupp, an outspoken Christian, said he shared the vision with his wife and no one else. He also added that he played each game this season with that belief in the back of his mind.

“It was written already and I just got to play free knowing that I got to play from victory, not for victory,” he said. “I got to play in a place where I was validated not from anything that happened on the field but because of my worth in God, in my Father…”

Despite all of Kupp’s football success over the past year, the player’s proper focus has always been on his relationship with Jesus. When Romano asked Kupp in an interview conducted before the Super Bowl what God was showing him and teaching him this season, he focused on keeping first things first.

“I got to talk to him this week and ask him a question about what God was showing him and teaching him this season,” Romano said. “His answer was, ‘Well, I needed to be rooted in my purpose, and my purpose is Christ.’”

i love that Kupp said he played from a position FROM victory not FOR victory. I believe that is a great message for the church who many strughling and defeated pray FOR victory which has ALREADY been won by Christ and promised to us, we need to live and move and walk, talk, and fulfill our daily responsibilities to God, family, work, community FROM THAT finished work victorious mindset, it is a FINISHED work by Christ, He said himself with His dying breath “it is finished” and we need to just stay in that Finished victory mindset in everything we do, the bible says “as a man thinks, so he is” so i see Kupp’s testimony as a true testimony not only to the unsaved but to those who already profess salvation yet are not walking as those who “already posess it”.
I am thankful and hopeful to see this revelation manifest in the church.

Father protect Cooper Kupp and keep him walking FROM the victory mindset in EVERY area of his life, and help the church catch hold of walking in this victory revelation/ minset. Jesus suffered so terribly for a COMPLETE salvation for us, not for us to keep wandering in the wilderness in unbelief, Father do a major work in YOUR church to turn the professors into possessors of all your promises, in Jesus name, we receive it for your glory.

Joshua 21:45 Not one of all the LORD’s good promises to the house of Israel had failed; everything was fulfilled.

Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

Joshua 21:45 Not one of all the LORD’s good promises to the house of Israel had failed; everything was fulfilled.

Thank you Father, thank you Jesus, for not only the promises to us but fulfilling all your promises!

This brings tears of joy to my eyes, I so LOVE to see people give glory to our beautiful God and to acknowledge their love and dependence on Jesus. Sadly, we do not see it very often so that makes it that much more special when someone like this special football player lifts up praises and acknowledges the mighty power of our God and how much each one of us can be capable of accomplishing when we put our faith and trust in Jesus and make it a priority to actually spend time with Jesus to listen to what He is speaking to us. Halleluiah! Way to go Coup, I know God will continue to bless and keep you (and I am a Bengal fan). Kathie

He sure didn’t give any praise to God in the live interview immediately after the game. Also to be noted—not one Rams player gave any comment about the Bengals being a worthy opponent.

I am happy for Cooper Kupp and his family. I had read your article about them prior to the game and hoped the Rams would win for their sake. I stayed watching long after the clock stopped and the game was called to listen to his testimony post-game. However, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed with his acceptance of the MVP trophy. Here, with the whole country watching and many people from across the world, Cooper stated, “God is good.” That’s it? Muslims, Hindu’s, Shinto’s, and those of Jewish faith will all say God is good. Considering the platform he (they) prayed for,, even anticipated, where was Jesus? Where was the praise and glory to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for his God-given talents? My husband said maybe he was concussed from a hit earlier in the game. I don’t know,, but wasn’t anyone else disappointed?

I am very happy for this guy and his family. I admire his faith and Lord I pray this continues and that this trend in sports athletes will continue. I pray that the NFL will shift from the toxic woke cancel culture to the awaken more free culture and that not only the NFL but also others will stop the non sense and stop ruining sports. I also want to pray for Aaron Roger’s and athletes like the Australian Tennis player who really have listened to their hearts and instinct that regardless of what impact not getting the COVID vaccine (Jab) would have with their Governments or associations but I praise God for these athletes and pray for encouragement because these athletes just like the rest of us should have the right to make their own choices and if they do their own research and feel like getting the Jab isn’t necessary because they are healthy and take the proper precautions and know that ivermecton, and hydroxicloroquine work and the virus and strands only had a 1% mortality rate most of which had auto immune difficulties or underlying health conditions and compromised immune systems then yes I agree it does not make since to get thr Jab only other then the fact that we feel forced and ridiculed if we don’t listen to our Government officials in getting the Jab. The masks we’re symbolic to silencing us and a test to see just what theu could get us to do and how we would give into the fear and rely on the Government for protection rather then our faith or confidence in our own understanding and then the Jab is merely just a way for the establishment Government and medical officials show off how much power they have or they think they have. The pandemic was never about safety buy about power. The establishment can not stand free thinkers especially those who stand with Jesus.I praise God that I saw through the bull and I praise God for those who have not caved to the Government. I will say that our church congregations did let me down quit a bit except for a select few. One being Pastor Greg Locke (I think what was his name) and that Canadian Preacher who was not going to close his church. I praise God for these leaders who rather then caved to the pressures of the establishment and Government they stuck with our Father and they kept the truth coming. They were truly fearless and unashamed. That’s the level of faith I’d like to achieve one day. To live fearlessly not worry about what the world says but more what God says. I also strongly recommend checking out the music video God Over Government. These guys do rap a little but there is no cussing so plus #1 but really the lyrics are spot on and the video just sums the corruption and everything so well. Music is one of the main ways God speaks to me and I find a lot of encouragement from it. When I heard about this song and saw a clip on Newsmax my reaction was not only encouragement but also impressed because bands like this can create a major culture shift and reach those who do not necessarily follow politics or question Government but just follows blindly. Songs like these and video just gives a different perspective and I love it. God is so good and just seems to be one step ahead. He always has an answer to the evil ones shames. I love it! I pray God continues but I also pray that God will shield these individuals from greed and that this new found success will not cause them to fall away or in line with the evil ones shemes. I don’t think they will but you never know. I pray for their protection and that God continues to build momentum against the evil one and the establishment will crumble. It is in Jesus name with very much gratitude I a pray Amen. Thank you Jesus for your love and protection.
