From The Epoch Times:

Attorneys general from a dozen states on April 20 asked to intervene in two lawsuits that oppose President Donald Trump’s executive order on citizenship verification and other election integrity efforts in elections.

The coalition of attorneys general filed motions in Massachusetts and the District of Columbia, expressing support for the president’s March 31 executive order, titled Ensuring Citizenship Verification and Integrity in Federal Elections.

Trump’s 2026 order requires federal agencies to compile a state citizenship list to assist state election officials in confirming which people are U.S. citizens, over 18, and residents of the state—all mandatory to be eligible to vote.

Supporters of the effort, including attorneys general from states like Texas, Florida, and South Carolina, argue these measures are essential to ensuring only eligible citizens participate in elections. Missouri Attorney General Catherine Hanaway, the leader of this coalition, described the initiative as “common-sense election integrity measures,” emphasizing the importance of accurate voter rolls, secure absentee voting, and transparent election administration.

Opponents, however, have filed multiple lawsuits challenging the orders, claiming they overstep federal authority and could restrict access to voting—particularly mail-in ballots. Groups like Common Cause and the Brennan Center for Justice argue the policies could lead to federal overreach and misuse of voter data, while Democrats have framed the effort as politically motivated.

Attorneys general from Alabama, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Montana, Nebraska, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, and Texas have joined the coalition.

As intercessors, we know that truth, integrity, and justice must guide every part of our nation—including our elections. Let’s pray for wisdom for our leaders, transparency in every process, and that every effort would ultimately uphold fairness and righteousness in our country.

FATHER, Let us TRULY be ONE NATION under GOD. We want You to be glorified in our nation and not any other religion or false gods. OPEN the eyes of YOUR people to see the TRUTH. It is not kind or good to let people die in their sins and serve false gods. Raise up people in our government who are willing to stand for YOU. Protect those who are doing this now. We know that the people who vote need to stand strong for YOU to keep our nation as a Christian nation. Those who come here illegally and worship other gods should NOT be voting in our elections. LET TRUTH BE REVEALED & JUSTICE PREVAIL in our nation and in the world. Amen

Schumer has stated that illegals won’t know that they need a photo ID when showing up to vote which shows me what I have believed for 30 years that democrats don’t care if vote is legal as long as that vote is for them. Schumer also stated that married women won’t know that they need to change their drivers license my wife is insulted by his belief that women are stupid, all women should feel insulted. We have a choice between those who believe in God and the US Constitution or those who believe in socialism and satan’s evil agenda. Choose wisely. I choose and trust in God. 🙏😇🙏
