If businesses cannot operate safely in our cities, we have a big problem. We must pray for our cities and law enforcement.

From CNBC. Starbucks will close 16 U.S. stores, mostly on the West Coast, by the end of July because of safety concerns, according to the company. Most of the stores set to close are in the Los Angeles and Seattle metro areas.

“We’ve had to make the difficult decision to close some locations that have a particularly high volume of challenging incidents that make it unsafe for us to operate,” a Starbucks spokesperson told CNBC….

‘We cannot serve as partners if we don’t first feel safe at work’

Concern about store safety was central to a letter to employees published on Monday from Debbie Stroud and Denise Nelson, two senior vice presidents of U.S. operations at the coffee chain. The letter cites several societal safety concerns, including increased violence and drug use in the area of the stores.

“We know these challenges can, at times, play out within our stores too. We read every incident report you file — it’s a lot,” the letter said. “Simply put, we cannot serve as partners if we don’t first feel safe at work….”

Property crimes up across Seattle and Los Angeles

Starbucks officials have said … that the closures are about matters of safety.

And crime data from Seattle and Los Angeles seems to the back up those concerns. In Seattle, property crimes … and violent robberies are up nearly 20% for the first five months 2022 from the year-earlier period, according to the Seattle Police Department.

In Los Angeles, those types of crimes are up citywide more than 14% for the first six months of 2022 compared to the same period last year, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

In West Hollywood, however, those figures are much higher: Property crimes and violent robberies have more than doubled in 2022 from 2021, according to the LA County Sheriff….

Dear Lord Jesus,

I pray for you to start movements in Seattle & Los Angeles areas to remove the progressive District Attorneys who are not prosecuting criminals or have given very lenient sentences for their crimes. I pray for the angel armies of heaven to do battle in these stronghold areas of the enemy satan & his hordes of demons. Do spiritual warfare in the heavenlies & wipe out the evil & wickedness in high places throughout these areas of the United States of America. I pray this prayer & supplication in the Name of Jesus Christ, the Lord of angel armies!

It saddens my heart in all the evilness that surrounds our nation(s). With our children, with businesses, with our borders, and the list goes on! I pray God will intervene for the family’s and businesses and workers that suffer from the evil work of Satan in our country. Lord, you hear our cry’s and pain in our hearts for what is happening here on earth! Things Lord have gotten out of control in our cities and only you Lord can help us do the work to turn our country back to you and I’m asking for you to give us a miracle of healing in our land! I love you Lord and trust you feel the same cause that’s who you are! God delivery us from the harm our government and evil forces are trying to use against us today with their ungodly agendas! Lord thank you for the privilege of being able to come before you and lay at your feet request of hope that can only come from you, thank you for being our God that we can come to and express our hearts to you and you listen because of your love for us I give you the praise and glory for who you are in Jesus name amen
