Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.), under partisan attack for arguing against congressional certification of the Electoral College vote, said efforts to silence him — including the cancellation of a book deal with Simon & Schuster — show “we’ve got Big Tech and the big corporations…in league with the left. . . .
It is an unbelievable attempt by big business, Big Tech and the left to try to censor all dissent, to try to shut down all opposition to try to silence half of America.
And while the Democrats talk about unity in Washington, they don’t want unity. What they want is total control, and these big corporations are right there with them trying to achieve it. . . .
Seven Democrat senators have filed an ethics complaint against Hawley and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), for lending “legitimacy to President Trump’s false statements about election fraud by announcing that they would object to the certification of electors on January 6.”
According to the complaint, “While it was within Senators’ rights to object to the electors, the conduct of Senators Cruz and Hawley, and potentially others, went beyond that. Both senators announced their intention to object to the electors after baseless claims of election fraud, which…they knew to be baseless, had led to threats of violence. Both senators persisted in their objections after those threats came to fruition. Their actions lend credence to the insurrectionists’ cause and set the stage for future violence. And both senators used their objections for political fundraising.” . . .
But on Monday night, Hawley said he will continue to represent the people of Missouri, “without fear of any mob and without fear of any liberal Democrat who thinks that they can impose their will.
And this is why I say, you know, listen, the First Amendment may protect the right of my Democrat colleagues to slander me and to lie, but it does not give them the right to try to abuse the power of the Senate to silence me and silence Senator Cruz and others.
And I’m just not going to stand for it. I mean, if they think that I’m just going to roll over and say, oh, just go on ahead, abuse the Senate, tear down the Senate, tear down all of our democratic traditions, I am not going to stand for it.
The people of Missouri sent me here to represent them. That’s exactly what I’m going to do, and I’m not going to be intimidated by the liberal mob.
Hawley warned that unless conservatives defy the “mob,” then “conservatives all across this country will be unable to speak, they’ll be unable to do business, they’ll be unable to be heard. And we’ve got to stand up right now and say enough is enough. We will not be intimidated.” . . .

I am praying for unity among the people and especially for the democrats to come to understanding that they’re dividing the country through their ungodly proposals and reversals of existing laws.
May God have mercy on this land.
I agree with Send. Hawley and I’m grateful to him (and Cruz) for their stand. That’s what people of integrity do!!
But I disagree with the statement that the 1st amendment gives freedom to the opposing side to “slander and lie”. The 1st amendment gives NO such protection to anyone. Let’s be real – slander and lying have put people in prison for doing just that. Slander and lying have brought incredibly huge monetary settlements due to lawsuits. A group of 7 Dem legislators who were “offended” by Mr. Hawley’s legitimate and “legally protected” actions try to hide behind some other scripted excuse(s) as their reasoning!!??
The blindness of some of these legislators who falsely believe they are doing the will of the majority of the people of our nation is beyond belief at times. In all truth, they are NOT talking with the majority of Americans because they know full well what they would be told and they wouldn’t like it!! For their attempts at trying to do this against Mr. Hawley, I think they should be censured and brought up on ethics violations.
Maybe the voters need to mandate that certain legislators need to take some in-depth classes on how to solve personal conflict issues!
We must unite and continue to pray that all injustice is exposed. Let us persist in prayer, declarations, and decrees. This is a spiritual battle, “the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds”(2 Corinthians 10:4). According to Dutch Sheets, exposure of corruption is only phase one. Phase two is “Redeem All”. Phase two is ready now to go into operation. Great days of great victory are going to be met with great resistance from the dark, but as the light is revealed exposing corruption, America will be saved and transformed before our very eyes. Agree with phase two, God’s plan for America. Turn our eyes upon Jesus, take up the mantle of authority He has given us and pray, declare, and decree His words.
“The Redeemer will come to Zion, to those in Jacob who repent of their sins,” declares the Lord (Isaiah 59:20).
“Zion will be delivered with justice, her penitent ones with righteousness” (Isaiah 1:27).
“I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice He judges and wages war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on His head are many crowns. He has a name written on Him that no one knows but he Himself”(Revelation 19:11,12).
“The Lord has made His salvation known and revealed His righteousness to the nations” (Psalms 98:2).

Thank You Father for what You have done in this nation, for the birthing of a covenant people who will submit to You. Your decision to honor us with the holy calling of trumpeting the Good News of Your Kingdom to the ends of the world. Thank You for this. And for the incredible blessing You have given this nation as we partner with You. We are very grateful. Thank You for the uncovering the truth, and that You continue to do so in our land. We also continue to ask You for grace and mercy to all who will receive repentance and faith through You. We thank You for the redeeming phase we are coming into, the restoration of America. We believe this and cast our vote for “Operation Redeem All” We join ourselves with the great cloud of witnesses who have fulfilled their destinies and are in heaven agreeing with us for Your will to be done. Together we believe in You for the synergy of the ages. We ask for this synergy to manifest itself. We believe that the “Appeal to Heaven,” for God’s merciful and gracious intervention still works today. A flag that symbolizes both surrender and obedience to God. We believe that America was established by God for a divine purpose. That Yahweh was personally involved in America’s inception and development. The “Appeal to Heaven” flag is again being flown across America for God’s grace. “The Lord has made His salvation known and revealed his righteousness to the nations” (Psalms 98:2). We believe that this flag still works today and we boldly release it. We accept our responsibility and are aware of Your signet ring. A gold ring etched with a key, with the words King of Kings and Kinsmen Redeemer. Jesus said, “Wear this ring and all that you put this ring on will be impacted with the weight of the Kingdom.” (prophecy spoken through Greg Hood), and we also take Your gavel with holy reverence and sobriety to bind strongholds and to lose Your Spirit and Your angels for justice. When we apply Your authority represented by Your signet ring and make a declaration it becomes irrefutable law. Give us Your words and we will speak them, releasing Your justice on across America and all the earth. We know this is Your plan to work in partnership with Your church, and we so pledge to You that we will honor Your plan and fulfill our part in it. I felt led to join Sens. Hawley’s and Cruz’s mailing lists and send a (small) donation. I believe prayer is primary in the spiritual battles in which we are engaged. But, there is also a political side, as referred to in the scriptures previously cited. I encourage others among you readers to comment on this approach.
Dear Lord please protect and comfort all good people who speak out against the evil that has ensnared our nation and who have the courage to say things others cannot. Lord, please give strength, moral courage, and divine inspiration to our leaders in Congress, both House and Senate, who are standing against the tide of wickedness that is sweeping our land. Lord, show us all the way and let us all do our part to fight this fight that is truly Your fight, Lord. Give us all the courage, wisdom, discernment a inspiration to do our part in this fight. Let us all remember that this is not just a political battle, but also, and probably even more-so, a spiritual and ideological fight. The wicked seek to steal our youth by hijacking education. The wicked seek to steal our opinions and values by inundating us with news and entertainment that is laced with their vile, evil lies. Let us all fight Your good fight every day in every way. Give your special blessing to those on the front lines of this fight. In Jesus precious name I pray O’ Lord, Amen.

We cannot “unite” with those who promote ungodliness!!!! We cannot unite with things that God finds abominable! I pray for those that are working against God and His children (I pray they get saved, because God told me to love my enemies and pray for those who despitefully use and persecute me [Matt. 5:44] and it is not His will that any should perish [2 Peter 3:9]), but I cannot “unite” with them as I believe that this would be going against GOD. They will not “unite” with anything other than total submission to their ungodly agenda! Pray for them, yes most certainly, but to “unite” with them, I don’t understand how that is possible in the current political climate. They hate anything that is not in full and total agreement with them. I do not hate them, nor would I ever lift a finger to hurt anyone, but how can you expect there to be unity when the enemies of God are seeking to eradicate all godliness from our borders??!! 2 Corinthians 6:14 MSG says: Don’t become partners with those who reject God. How can you make a partnership out of right and wrong? That’s not partnership; that’s war. Is light best friends with dark? Does Christ go strolling with the Devil? Do trust and mistrust hold hands? Who would think of setting up pagan idols in God’s holy Temple? But that is exactly what we are, each of us a temple in whom God lives. God himself put it this way: “I’ll live in them, move into them; I’ll be their God and they’ll be my people. So leave the corruption and compromise; leave it for good,” says God. “Don’t link up with those who will pollute you. I want you all for myself. I’ll be a Father to you; you’ll be sons and daughters to me.” The Word of the Master, God. I will continue to pray, but not for unity between darkness and light. So sorry.
