The newly confirmed U.S. secretary of state has vowed to support the LGBT agenda by flying pride flags at United States embassies and resurrecting the “special envoy for the human rights of LGBTI persons.”
Antony Blinken, who was confirmed 78-22 by the United States Senate Tuesday, shared his thoughts about LGBT issues during his Senate confirmation hearing last week, which took place before President Joe Biden took office. . . .
“After four years of Trump administration efforts to specifically marginalize, minimize, do damage to the rights of the LGBTI people, I think it’s going to be vital to appoint a seasoned expert on this issues. Are you going to move forward towards a speedy appointment towards an LGBTI envoy and would you consider raising it to an ambassadorial level?” Markey asked.
Blinken answered in the affirmative: “This is a matter, I think, of some real urgency, we’ve seen violence directed against LGBTQI people around the world increase. We’ve seen, I believe, the highest number of murders of transgender people, particularly women of color, that we’ve seen ever and so I think the United States playing the role that it should be playing in standing up for and defending the rights of LGBTQI people is something the Department is going to take on and take on immediately.”
Markey also asked Blinken if he would “repudiate the findings of the report of the Commission on Unalienable Rights and reaffirm the United States’ acceptance and adherence to the human rights laid out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights” and whether he would “ensure that ambassadors are able to fly the pride … flag at our embassies around the world.” . . .
The Commission on Unalienable Rights was created by the State Department under then-Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in July 2019. In a press conference announcing the State Department Commission, the secretary of state argued that “international institutions designed and built to protect human rights have drifted from their original mission.” . . .
During the Trump administration, U.S. embassies were told not to fly the pride flag, which consists of the rainbow colors and is designed to show support for LGBT rights. Then-Vice President Mike Pence defended the State Department’s declaration that “on the flagpole of our American embassies that one flag should fly and that’s the American flag,” saying “I support that.”
As Markey explained, the special envoy for the human rights of LGBTI persons was “left vacant in the Trump years.” The position was created during the latter part of the Obama administration. The first special envoy for the human rights of LGBTI persons was Randy Berry, who served in the position from 2015 to 2017 before former President Donald Trump appointed him to the position of United States Ambassador to Nepal. . . .
Blinken is the fourth member of Biden’s cabinet that has been confirmed by the Senate. The others are Director of Intelligence Avril Haines, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen.

Lord we ask for your forgiveness for this foolish and unnecessary decision by Blinken. Forgive us for ever allowing things to get this far.
We know those that are unsaved have no respect or honor for your word Lord. We ask that you would soften their hearts and use whatever means you must to get through to them. Amen.
Dear Heavenly Father please deliver this nation from these evil, insane, deceitful people who have hijacked this nation. Lord they are trying to force us to accept things we do not believe in, and they are corrupting our youth. Please deliver this nation from this evil. In Jesus precious name I pray, O Lord, Amen.
In American history, when the USA has a embassy, office or other buildings abroad or here, we only flew the American flag. That was for a very simple reason – it is the flag of our nation. We don’t need a dozen different flags representing a dozen different organizations or rights or whatever. That is NOT the role of an embassy, etc. Stick to the business of representing the USA Mr. Blinken!! The vast majority of US citizens are not in agreement with this decision at all.
According to the Bible same-sex relations is “against nature” (Romans 1:26-27), out of harmony with God’s will (Genesis 1:27; 2:22; Matthew 19:4-6, Romans 1:21-28). Homosexuality is a behavioral aberration. There’s only one term for it, homosexuality, not the terms that LGBTI stands for. God created us as male and female to express the full spectrum of His image. The duality of the sexes is complementary. When two different sexual beings are united in holy matrimony they become the nucleus of a concerted effort, partnership, family, the cradle of community through propagation. Understanding God’s purposes for creating the two sexes is black and white, not grey. The rainbow colors represent the promise of the continuation of life, the opposite of what homosexuality produces.
Homosexuality is not only a sin, but it is a sin against our own destinies and purposes of God. Our sexuality when surrendered to God serves to fulfill God’s purposes. Christians should resist and abhor all forms of sexual aberrations and behavioral addictions that dishonor their bodies as temples of God.
How do we respond to a culture that promotes deception? With God’s truth, His love, and our support. Our support to homosexuals must be guided by God’s truth and love. We accept them just like God accepted us. “But God demonstrates His own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). Millions of Christians face persecution as homophobic. Yet we mustn’t stop praying, speaking the truth and lovingly showing support for them to come out of deception.
Father as Christians we stand together in prayer for the sexual morality of our nation. First of all, we surrender our bodies to You as holy temples for the promotion of Your truth and love. We pray for those who are deceived that your grace and mercy would bring revelation of Your will and purposes for their sexuality, breaking the demonic stronghold in their lives and holistically healing them from all perverse affects. Through repentance and confession, forgive, cleanse, and restore their affections to You, and grant them wisdom and godly support through their recovery process.
We pray for godly leadership in America and abroad to uphold Your righteousness standards of morality and holiness. Remove the wicked and raise up the godly in all positions of authority.
We decree a great revival, leading to repentance and restoration of godly values in America and abroad. We pray and decree Your will be done in America and on earth as it is in heaven in the name of Jesus. Amen!

Lord, we honor You as Lord of heaven and earth and Creator of all. I pray that You will open the eyes of these administration officials to see You in Your holiness, for who You really are. I pray that these fighting for rights will not be distracted by thinking their identity is in their sexual orientation. Open their eyes to see that their Identity is defined by having been created by and in the image of a holy God. For those who are caught in deception, give them to distinguish truth from lies and good from evil, and to stand strong for Your ways.For those who are confused, please heal their minds and bodies. Please raise up godly men and women in these positions of authority, and awaken the officials to seek you for wisdom and understanding in making decisions. In Jesus name, amen.
Lord, please forgive these people for their deception, please open their eyes to truth. Lord, we ask for the world to recognize Christians being persecuted and killed. Lord, we boldly ask you to stop the satanic agenda infiltration of our world. Lord, we boldly ask for You to remove all evil from our government. In Your name we pray, Amen 🙏
This is such a slippery slope to get involved in. And we must get involved in it!
Loving people of many different sexual orientations is a command from our Lord (Matthew 22:39), yet this has been overshadowed too often by declaring them sinners.
It is evident to me that these individuals are wanting God in their lives just my looking at the number of churches that are wrestling with this very issue
These individuals will be more open to see their sin -as we would be more open to see our sins, when they, like us, know that Christians will care for them regardless of their sexual orientation (2 Corinthians 5:14)
Jesus’ standard of Holiness was never diminished as He connected with people to show them God’s loving truth. And, we are created to do the same. (2 Corinthians 5:20)
