I Prayed have prayed
Father, you say in Romans 13 that government is given authority to deter and punish wrongdoers. Give us strong police departments that avoid mistakes of the past so that we can have safer cities, less crime, and more unity in our nation.

Black Lives Matter, defund the police, and constant attacks form politicians have demoralized cops nationwide. Now, a recruiting crisis may be underway. Our police departments need our support!

From Fox News: Violent crime reached a 14-year high in Seattle last year as the city’s police department deals with a staffing shortage that is straining its ability to protect the community.

Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell said during his state of the city address this week that there is funding to hire 125 new officers this year and put more resources on the street.

“The depleted staffing we see today does not allow us to react to emergencies and crime with the response times our residents deserve,” Harrell said Tuesday…

Twenty officers left the force in January, 171 officers exited last year, and 186 officers separated from the force in 2020 amid the push to defund the police, according to KOMO. Only 137 officers have been hired in that time span.

Violent crime rose 20% last year, mainly driven by a 24% surge in aggravated assaults and 18% surge in robberies, according to the Seattle Police Department. Homicides fell by 25% and rapes decreased 6%…

Former Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan issued an executive order last year authorizing $10,000-$25,000 hiring bonuses for officers, but those funds are no longer available in 2022, according to Fox 13 Seattle

As the police department tries to hire new officers, newly elected City Attorney Ann Davison announced this month that her office will make a charging decision on all incoming cases within five days.

“The best way to interrupt crime happening on the streets today is by quickly and efficiently moving on the cases referred to us by the Seattle Police Department,” Davison said.

How are you praying for law enforcement?

i pray that our police departments don’t fall fall the traps set for them by our communist government in Washington DC by letting the terrorist organizations BLM and antifa riot, loot, vandalize, rape, and murder as they have in communist states of california, new york, washington ( and other dem states ). instead of arresting school board members who as patriots are standing up for our freedom as parents, it time we stand up and fight for God as he wants us to,

We pray for righteousness rulers to replace the wicked rulers in our nation. We declare you are wiping away the wicked so you can be allied with our rulers and establish righteousness in our land. According to your word.

I pray for our police, for their lives and their marriages. I pray you would put it in the hearts of godly men and women to be policemen. But I pray you would change the district attorneys in cities that let criminals out of jail and will not support certain laws against crime. Father, hear our prayer for peace.

Father, in the name of Jesus, i pray that you grant hiring managers with wisdom and integrity to hire only moral and ethical sound men and women who are self controlled, brave, and wise in dealing with criminals. Father do not allow the police to be defunded in our nation, but provide the funds for the training they need to do their job well, confidently. assertively without a prideful attitude or power trip or a bad attitude toward criminals. We thank you for answering our prayers.

I’m not for defunding the police! I want to start with that before I recount my story that happened to me personally. Summarize: false arrest, the cop slammed my head into the patrol car and knocked me out, came to as the ambulance arrived, went on to jail, went to hospital from jail, after bailing out it was hard to find good representation, bonds people were very unsympathetic, dash cam video was gone, pressured into plea deal or more jail time, Internal Affairs was a complete farce, finally filed a federal suit but after five years in federal court I was offered a minuscule amount and told take it or leave it. When it’s a broken system what’s an innocent and battered person to do when the cards are stacked against a fair trial and true justice! Police are in charge of policing the police and that’s where the big problem with the justice system is and always has been! Internal Affairs is a very biased outfit! Attorneys, bonds people, judges and all involved cover for each other and it’s not a fair system. If you ever get into a nightmare situation like the one I had you’d be wanting answers. To this day I still wonder what would make the system more fair and just since there’s only one way to police the police! Six years of total misery because of one bad apple! Pray you never wind up in that type of injustice! But I still back the Blue! It’s much better than nothing and it would be great without the bad apples! A sheriff gave me a ride home from the hospital recently after a kidney stone attack. I live in the wilderness and no taxis up here! He was a very good apple!
Praise Jesus for the good ones and praise Jesus for cleaning up the bad ones!
Amen

Lord, we also pray for change in legislation in WA State which has removed authority of officers to do their job. We also ask for dropping of vaccination requirements for officers. We thank you Lord that you are the God of Justice and Righteousness and we ask Lord for your Presence on our police force in WA State though they are few…we ask that they are Mighty in your name!

Please! We need good police! Nothing it impossible with God! Instead of commenting “Who would want to go into Law Enforcement” and “Find another career.” Pray for godly men and women to serve and be protected by God Himself! Don’t leave these cities that have been ravaged by the enemy. There are many God-fearing, Christian people in them still!!! Declare life over them, God’s not done with any of them, nothing is impossible with Him!

Who in their right mind would want to go into law enforcement in that city or others like Austin, Houston and Portland? You have city attorneys who go after officers with criminal charges for enforcing the law, laws they were trained to enforce. Government officials running ads in Austin, Texas inciting young lawyers to come help go after and prosecute police officers by creating trumped up bogus charges. It’s more dangerous than it’s ever been and we have a public that won’t stand up and support those that they expect to show up and help them.

Find another career where you are appreciated till things change, maybe after a few years of no one coming to save these citizens they will wise up,

We need to have police forces in place, and we need for them to have the ability to uphold law and order. Our leaders need to wake up and realize that this needs to be addressed. Seattle is not the only large city with crime and violence increases. It is symptomatic of the times that we live in, the End Times. Lawlessness is abounding. I pray for the police everywhere throughout our nation. Give them authority to do their jobs, Lord Jesus.

Praying for police officers in Seattle and everywhere – they have a dangerous job, putting their lives on the line every day for all the people they serve and yet they are not supported and respected for their faithful service – it must take such courage just to show up every day for work. Ironically, those that disparage and defund police are the ones that have their own private security, while leaving the rest of us, who are the majority, unprotected and our neighborhoods full of crime (now that criminals are no longer prosecuted or in any way held accountable for their actions) They have destroyed law and order by destroying the people that provide it, which is exactly what they set out to do, destroy this country one institution at a time. And we believed the lie (those that commit crime -good; those that uphold the law – bad) and stood by and watched them do it. The police deserve our support and need our prayers as they face danger daily. How grateful we should be for their willingness to serve and protect. Prayers for all the families of police officers who have been killed even so recently in the line of duty. May God protect you all. http://www.mtothe5th.wordpress.com
