Russia and China are sending warships to the northern part of the Indian Ocean to take part in a series of naval exercises alongside Iran as tensions in the region continue to mount.
Iranian marine and airborne units and the separate Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps navy will take part in the drills, dubbed “Naval Security Belt Combined War Game 2022,” along with naval forces from Russia and China, according to Iran’s Tasnim News Agency.
The drill will cover an area of 17,000 square kilometers — about 10,500 square miles — and will be the third such joining exercise involving Iran, Russia and China, Rear Adm. Mostafa Tajeddini of the Iranian navy said..
Activities during the exercise will include tactical maneuvering, saving hijacked vessels, and day and night weapons training, Iranian officials said.
According to Russia’s Defense Ministry, Moscow is providing a missile cruiser, an anti-submarine ship and a sea tanker to the exercise.
“In addition, Russian ships will replenish food, water and fuel supplies,” ministry officials said.

Lord JESUS, by your power frustrate the plans and exercises of these nations that are preparing for war or whatever. May they each wake up in the middle of the night like you have done with so many and see you and receive you into their hearts.
Lord, God…please let there be peace in the world. Please let these leaders see that their people don’t want war, all that does is lead to death and destruction. Please give them insight into what their people want and need, which is just to live in freedom the way You created them to live, in the name of Jesus…Amen
Father, we ask for your protection upon Israel. Build a wall of fire as a shield all around them so that no evil thing can nothing penetrate it. Hold Israel up on angels wings close to your heart, cradle them with your love. We ask this in the name of Jesus.
Father, may we never walk in fear but in your peace. We pray that these nations would be foiled in their union to bring about their tyranny over the world. We look forward to the revival you are bringing on the world and we pray it would go deep into Russia, China, and Iran.
