This is a loss for biblical marriage and religious freedom in America. Despite this, we can’t stop fighting and we can’t stop praying.
From Fox News. The House on Thursday passed the Respect for Marriage Act, which will require the federal government to recognize same-sex marriages performed in states where they are legal but does not go as far as some Democrats wanted.

The bill won approval in a 258-169 vote, after the Senate passed it 61-36 last week. The legislation now heads to the White House for President Biden’s signature into law. Despite warnings from Republicans in both chambers that the bill doesn’t do enough to protect religious liberty, 39 House Republicans voted for the bill.
Supporters of the bill hailed it as a safety net in the event the Supreme Court reverses a ruling that says the Constitution guarantees the right of same-sex couples to get married.
“This legislation is the latest step in House Democrats’ fight to win full equality for LGBTQ Americans and forge a more perfect union that our children, and their children … all of our children deserve,” outgoing Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said Thursday from the House floor.
“I find it deeply poignant, that as we prepare to bring the 117th Congress to a close, we are on the cusp of a great bipartisan moral victory in defense of a fundamental right of all Americans, a victory that will provide stability and reassurance to the millions of LGBTQ and interracial families that have come to rely on the constitutional right to marry,” added House Judiciary Chairman Rep. Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y. …
The Respect for Marriage Act says the federal government will recognize same-sex marriages performed in states where they are legal, and includes a similar protection for interracial couples should the Supreme Court overturn a decision on that issue, Loving v. Virginia, that bans states from outlawing these marriages. …
When the bill was in the Senate, Sens. Susan Collins, R-Maine, and Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis., wrote an amendment aimed at adding religious liberty protections that the Senate approved. But some Republicans and conservative groups say that amendment doesn’t go far enough to protect people who fear litigation or government retaliation for their belief in traditional marriage. …
Tim Schultz, president of the 1st Amendment Partnership, told Fox News Digital that the passage of RMA is about “political realism,” and that both sides had to cede some ground in order to turn the language into law. “I think that this is actually a big political deal,” Schultz added. …

What is marriage?
These people in our government that supports this measure are completely delusional! Lgbtq people have exactly the same rights that all Americans have. They want extra rights! They want acceptance from everyone else, which will not happen! FATHER GOD please remove the entire biden administration including the republicans that voted with them from office immediately in JESUS NAME! Amen!

God I know you Word is true and that you hoover over your Word to see that it is performed. I ask in Jesus’ name, that the wicked would be cut down, if they refuse to turn from their wicked ways.
I have to wonder if any of our politicians ever read a Bible. It clearly states that marriage is between a man and a woman and not Adam and John or Lucy and Sara. I’m really concerned about those pastors, and I do believe there are some out there who will not perform such same sex marriages. It’s time to see how the rubber meets the road. We all must continue to PRAY, PRAY, and continue to PRAY for the safety of our churches.
In the beginning God created male and female and commanded them be fruitful and multiply- That’s all amen – He solid not say here are some possibilities you might consider-

First of all, Greater is CHRIST in us, than satan in the ones that voted for this bogus bill! Second of all why does this bill include interracial marriage which has been legal in the south for decades, and in the north for way longer than that! The lgbtq community is always attempting to include everyone in their lifestyle for I believe legitimacy! I am a black American and our ethnic story is in no way connected to lgbtq for the plain fact that we cannot change our color, but we and them can choose celibacy to honor GOD! Black Americans are identified by race/color! If lgbtq didn’t broadcast their sexual preference by word, deed, actions, or dress no one could tell their preference! FATHER GOD please let us be strong enough to resist this bill and satan for YOUR Glory and Honor in JESUS NAME! Amen!
Father, I know you aren’t pleased with the passing of this bill. Thank you for hearing the prayers of your children who strongly oppose it. I pray first for national, and worldwide revival and salvation of all people. Lord in all things may your will be done and may you get the Glory.
Lord, I pray that every stolen election is overturned, and every evil bill passed by these unelected evil doers is undone. Please do not allow this bill to stand. I pray the Supreme court will take up and approve the Brunson Brothers case that will remove all of these people from office and make every action they have taken over the last 2 years as thought they had never happened.

Father God, we ask your forgiveness on behalf of all those in the House of Representative and the Senate who voted and approved this bill, Respect for Marriage. They know not what they are doing that is against your covenant. Marriage is sacred to you and this is most certainly heart breaking for you and all those who believe in the sanctity of marriage. We need leaders in our government who are willing to vote for religious liberty and religious rights. This country was founded on biblical principles whether they like it or not. We WERE and should be following those principles set forth by our founding forefathers. But, forgive us, Lord, for our government has strayed from your path for this godly nation, making it an unrecognizable nation, certainly an ungodly nation. As a Christian, we rise up and stand up for our beliefs and moral values. We will not be sold a bag of goods by the enemy. This nation belongs to Almighty God. We stand by that and pray for this nation to turn around. Father, you said in II Chronicles 7:14 if your people who are called by your name will humble themselves, pray and seek your face, turn from their wicked ways, you will hear from heaven, forgive their sins, and heal their land. I pray, Lord, you heal this mighty nation.
Father, we pray that as much as some (but perhaps not all) Democrats may want to become oppressors of people of faith, we will remember Isaiah 51 where you hold us accountable not to forget our God by fearing them. You are the creator and sustainer of the stars and galaxies and You are most certainly greater than they are. Let our confidence in You be a comfort to us and a frustration to the god of this world who wants to terrKen ify us.
I would say this is the biggest mistake I have seen legislators make since allowing abortion to stand for over 50 years. They know the Supreme Court said abortion was out of the jurisdiction of the Federal government, they should wait on the people who do read. Fortunately America will be saved. Thank God

You know how sacred marriage is to You. It is the closest covenant to understand what it is to love and serve another on this earth. You made a marriage covenant at Sinai with Your people, Israel but they, as we, boke this covenant of marriage with You and preferred other “gods” – the gods of the world-entertainment, doing as we please without judgment, calling You a flase God and not believing You are the Creator-nor do we hold marriage as a covenant between You and us. We are sinned in so many ways but Father have mercy on us, for we have done wrong and not spoken out strongly enough on this issue. We have turned our heads at the abominations within this act and have not protected marriage as a God-given right for men and women. I pray that You, Alone, would stop this desecration of Your Word and let the act of marriage remain biblical, based on Your Word of truth. Man does not know what he is doing. Forgive us. Amen
