President Trump has begun his crackdown on DEI in the government, putting all employees in DEI roles on paid leave.
From NBC News. The Trump administration is ordering all federal employees in diversity, equity and inclusion roles placed on paid leave by Wednesday evening, according to a new memo from the Office of Personnel Management.

The memo, issued Tuesday to heads of departments and agencies, sets a deadline of no later than 5 p.m. ET Wednesday to inform the employees that they will be put on paid administrative leave as the agencies prepare to close all DEI-related offices and programs and to remove all websites and social media accounts for such offices.
It also asks federal agencies to submit a written plan by Jan. 31 for dismissing the employees.
President Donald Trump signed an executive order Monday ending “radical and wasteful” diversity, equity and inclusion programs in federal agencies, with DEI offices and programs being ordered to shut down. …
It was not clear how many employees would be affected. The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment. …

DEI did more to ensure (l)ack of diversity, (i)nequity, and (e)xclusion than any program I can think of – so perhaps the initials LIE would be more appropriate. Primarily it targeted Christians, conservatives, men, whites, etc. and anyone else who didn’t agree with the woke, Marxist, leftist, etc. agenda. Thank You, Lord, for common sense shut-downs. Thank you, President Trump for swift action against DEI (LIE)!

In Galatians 3:28 God speaks to us through Paul in pointing out there is no nationality, race, nor gender that defines who we are. Believers are identified by their submission to God’s King—“Kiss the Son…”(Psalm 2). But evil and our fallen nature seek to create racial, gender, and even political identities that clearly contradict God’s Word.
Pray for President Trump to keep acting out of Godly wisdom and authority.

I cannot pretend that I understand all of the effects this will have moving forward. I believe everything is in God’s hands and in His control. I trust in that.
