A federal judge has invalidated the Trump administration’s decision to end the immigration parole status of migrants who entered the country under the Biden-era CBP One app.

Who is praying on the wall?

The app was used by then-President Joe Biden’s administration beginning in 2023 to allow migrants to schedule appointments with immigration officials and stay in the U.S. for up to two years.

Under the CBP One system, more than 900,000 migrants from countries across the globe were allowed into the U.S. at official ports of entry along the southern border.

U.S. District Court Judge Allison Burroughs invalidated the Trump administration’s decision to end the immigration parole status of migrants who entered the country under the CBP Home policy.

In her ruling, U.S. District Court Judge Allison Burroughs wrote that it was “not in accordance with law,” when officials “terminated the impacted noncitizens” parole without observing the process mandated by statute and by their own regulations.

It’s unclear how many of the nearly one million migrants will be affected by Burrough’s ruling as some of them have already been deported or gained another lawful status since the Trump administration repurposed the CBP One app a year ago, allowing paroled migrants to self-deport.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced in April 2025 that it was terminating the parole status of those processed under the CBP One program, arguing that the Biden administration did not have authority to create such a program.

DHS officials, at that time, said that the app violated U.S. immigration law by allowing hundreds of thousands of migrants to enter the country outside of the traditional legal immigration system.

The DHS’s statement following the judge’s ruling read as follows: “We disagree with this blatant judicial activism undermining the President’s Article II authority to determine who remains in this country. The Biden Administration abused the parole authority under the disastrous CBP One program to allow millions of illegal aliens into the U.S. which further fueled the worst border crisis in U.S. history.”

Although the Justice Department is likely to appeal the ruling, there is still hindrance for our government each day as officials work tirelessly for the safety of this country. We ask God to bless this nation and restore safety and peace across our borders.

Intercessors, share your prayers for our current administration below.

Father, I pray that all these radical judges who are Anti-Trump, anti-America, anti-God — will have a visitation from heaven changing their hearts to holiness.

Father, I pray for President Trump as he works to protect our country. I pray for judges that will not rule in a way that will harm our country. I pray that you would give President Trump wisdom in handling this decision and that this decision would be overturned. President Biden did this by executive order, not law. President Trump should have power to reverse it by executive action. I pray that you would stop those who want to undo what President Trump has done. Open people’s ears to hear the truth and have discernment to know what is the best. I praise your name.

“… there is still hindrance for our government each day as officials work tirelessly for the safety of this country.”

I remember the Rabshakeh (the field commander) sent by Sennacherib, king of Assyria, as a messenger to King Hezekiah of Judah. From the wall of Jerusalem and to the people in Hebrew, he spoke a message of lies, boasts, and blasphemies. Read the story, it still moves me as it did the first time reading it. “The Lord’s purpose prevailed. It will always prevail.”

Dear Father and Eternal God, today we remember Jesus on the cross, He lives to prevail. I pray today for each individual who is working to restore justice and security to our country. I pray despite the lies, ridicule, and hinderances and because our nation is founded in Christ, we will prevail. I pray Your purposes are imbedded in each good effort…from inception to development to delivery, every good thing is powered by you to prevail. I also ask for Godly shame to saturate all who would hinder the good works being planned. Help us to stay focused in prayer and in right living, this pleases You. I ask this and so much more in the Name Above All Names, Jesus Christ.
