I Prayed have prayed
Lord, we pray for this world and the drug addiction problem. Would you encounter your children that are struggling with addiction and set them free. Protect this nation, and would revival come like a flood.

Please don’t stop praying about the ongoing opioid crisis! We were shocked by the statistics in this story. Read on to find out about the explosive growth of fentanyl crossing the southern border into the U.S. Then share in the comments–has this crisis touched your family? Let’s pray for one another.

Federal agents in this section of the southern border say they’ve seen a staggering 4,000 percent increase in fentanyl seizures over the last three years.

Those busts are not at ports of entry, where most smuggled drugs are typically found. The Border Patrol says the rising amount of fentanyl is being found in the desert – transported by increasingly brazen smugglers who are exploiting stretched federal resources.

In 2018, the Border Patrol in the El Paso sector found just one pound of fentanyl outside ports of entry. In 2019, two pounds. In 2020, nine.

During the 2021 fiscal year, agents have found 41 pounds so far – a dramatic rise that experts attribute to the increasing role in drug cartels producing the illicit drug themselves with raw materials from China. The sharp rise from 2018 to 2020 suggests the coronavirus pandemic did not artificially inflate the 2021 numbers.

According to the Drug Enforcement Administration, two milligrams of fentanyl can be lethal, depending on a person’s body size. One kilogram of fentanyl has the potential to kill 500,000 people. A kilogram is roughly 2.2 pounds.

“For the first time, we’re starting to see these tactics where fentanyl is being smuggled between ports of entry,” Chief Border Patrol Agent Gloria Chavez said in an interview. “Cartels are very creative. They find ways to intimidate migrants and find ways to illegally have them transport that narcotic into the United States.”

Sources with the Drug Enforcement Administration tell NBC News that fentanyl is becoming a drug of choice for the cartels because it’s highly profitable, extremely potent and easier to smuggle into the U.S. because of its small size.

Meth seizures away from ports of entry are also up 85 percent so far this fiscal year.

Oh God please help in this crisis, it is so out of hand.
We need miracles upon miracles from you to save the addicted souls, and to stop the fentanyl from being smuggled across our border. Thank you for Texas saying they will complete the building of their border. Miracles we need Lord Jesus!

Thank you for highlighting this problem.
Yes, Father we pray freedom over captives to opioid addiction. Lord please set your captives free. Cause your Bride together to rise up and see the destructive forces behind drugs and alcohol.
And may the younger generation have eyes to see and TURN UNCOMPROMISINGLY AWAY from drugs & alcohol while exposing the deceit and deadly nature of using alcohol and drugs.
My brother’s life was taken by fentanyl on Dec 19, 2019.
My brother loved Jesus and wanted to help people stuck in addiction.
Therefore,
we are building sober living homes where people can find Jesus, grow in Him and get set free. Our first just opened in Phoenix. It is called “Grace Sober Living” aka “Scott’s Place.”
Please pray God will move on this home and provide a way of escape for those battling and that He would raise up these men to go forth and be first fruits of many who will get free offering Jesus as the solution!

Jennifer, may God prosper your determination to honor your brother’s life through offering rescue to others. I pray that “Scott’s Place” will be used to bring many from the darkness of drug abuse to the Light of life and that the financial, physical and spiritual resources needed will always be available so that no one will ever have to be turned away. I thank you, Father God, for this sister’s heart and ask you to bless the work of her hands.

Dear Lord, I pray for this world and the drug-addiction problem. Protect this nation and may a revival come sweeping in like a flood. Please encounter Your children struggling with addiction and set them free. I also pray that somehow this crisis at the border could be stopped. Nothing is impossible for You, Lord! In Jesus name, Amen.

Father, I pray that your love , grace, and mercy would fall on those addicted to these drugs and that your love would deliver them instantly like you did for me that night in my barracks 20 years ago, totally set free from suicide and alcohol addiction and now I pray for those in the same situation as I was in. The devil has them bound and the only power that can set them free is the blood of Jesus Christ! Amen and amen!
