In the wake of the assassination of Turning Point USA Founder Charlie Kirk, Americans on both sides of the aisle are saying that we’re in a political crisis.
Pray for your fellow intercessor.

Seventy-nine percent of voters nationwide questioned in a Quinnipiac University survey released this week said the country’s in a political crisis, with just 18% disagreeing.
Ninety-three percent of Democrats, 84% of independents and 60% of Republicans said the nation’s in a political crisis.
“The Kirk assassination lays bare raw, bipartisan concerns about where the country is headed,” Quinnipiac University Polling Analyst Tim Malloy said.
The poll also revealed that many are concerned about violence in our nation. According to the poll, 71% of voters feel that politically motivated violence is a serious problem in our nation, while 22% feel it’s a somewhat serious problem.
The United States has seen a string of high-profile assassinations and assassination attempts in recent years. In 2022, a gunman sought to kill Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. In 2024, two individuals sought to kill President Trump, and one young man executed a healthcare CEO in December. Earlier this year, Minnesota’s former House Speaker was assassinated along with her husband. Lastly, Charlie Kirk was shot and killed just over two weeks ago.
Each of these killings had an obvious political flair, with many being committed by leftists for overtly political reasons.
Perhaps most shocking is that, according to the poll, nearly 60% of voters feel it is impossible to lower the temperature on political rhetoric in America, and 54% feel that political violence will worsen over the next few years.
It may seem like there is no answer to political violence, but we know that peace, unity, and order can be found in our savior. Let’s pray for an end to political violence across the nation, and let’s pray for revival to sweep across the United States!
